Jesus is With You Always!

Face the Trial, Before You Waste the Trial

By Abraham Israel

Many times when we are alone, that is when we are tempted by the devil.

Yes Jesus was driven in to the wilderness by God the Holy Spirit for this purpose
(Matt 4:1). God's appointment for an increased anointing does not come in public without us having private confrontation and victory over the devil.

When you are tempted by the devil in your private time, remember the lie that the devil will try to insert in to your mind again and again saying, "Where is your JESUS, now that you are facing trials and temptations?, Has he arrived to help and deliver you? Jesus has no power over the sinful bondages or else he would have instantly delivered you like other believers say in their testimony? You are condemned sinner, so God hates you and has no love for you? You are sick and weak because of sin and God has punished you for it, etc..."

Who are you going to believe at this point of intense temptation? The report of the Lord or the devil's report of unbelief. How much you believe God during those times determines how much blessings and power of God you will experience after the trials will be over. This trial too will go and does not last for ever. But the faith with which you responded during your trials will be recorded in the history books of heaven.

Hear what Apostle Peter says,
"6 In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, 7 that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ." (1 Peter 1:6-7). When we are going through trials we will never know that we are being tested by God, until we stand by faith and see the victory, reward and promotion we get after the trials gets over (Psa 119:71, 75, 92; Job 23:10). When you respond by faith to trials you will be purified and trusted for kingdom promotion or else you will be running a spiritual rat race inside a cage. God always stay put a person in a place until they realise that tests and trails are for their good. God is more concerned with the attitude of His children's than their immediate comfort.

It good to face trials and ask God for strength to overcome it as soon as possible. The more we are determined to face the unknown fears that lurks to keep us in the rat cage, the faster we will come in to the freedom of the Spirit of faith. Face the fear with the words of faith spoken through your mouth
(2 Cor 4:13). This is the way all the saints of God will be able to overcome Satan's evil deception of unbelief. The same thing is said of the saints of the soon coming worldwide Tribulation in which they will overcome Satan "by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony" (Rev 12:11, a). Unbelief is a soul life that should not be loved but hated with a holy hatred.

Read this beautiful poem and understand that how a great reformer was able to face the challenges of the devil's unbelief like each of us face daily and declare the victory of God over it,

"Feelings come and feelings go,
And feelings are deceiving;
My warrant is the Word of God--
Naught else is worth believing.

Though all my heart should feel condemned
For want of some sweet token,
There is One greater than my heart
Whose Word cannot be broken.

I'll trust in God's unchanging Word
Till soul and body sever,
For, though all things shall pass away,
HIS WORD SHALL STAND FOREVER!"

— Martin Luther

Martin Luther faced trials after trials from the evil one and won all of it by faith and confession of the word of God.

Here is what happened one night after he worked himself to exhaution and was made to be the target of the assaults of the accuser of the brethren.

That night the Devil came and stood before him in a sort of vision.

The Devil said: "Are you Martin Luther?" "Yes," he replied. "You preach justification by faith, and that you are saved thus?" "Yes."

Then the Devil pulled out a great roll, and read about Martin Luther by giving the place of his birth, etc. "Yes, that is true," said Luther.

Then there was a little black record of a sin in it which showed all his transgressions, way back from his earliest childhood. ''Yes," said Luther, "I did it, I did it." Then another—then another. "Yes," he said, "Yes," but his courage and bold faith didn't fail him.

And yard after yard of that dreadful roll began to be unfolded by Satan, and as all the sins of his thoughts and deeds were revealed to greater and greater accuracy, the poor man couldn't stand anymore against Satan but sat trembling before that fearful record of a life-time of sin.

And the fiend said; "And you are going to heaven? Ah, what presumption!'' Luther says he was almost ready to give it up. But the Spirit of God whispered in his ear, "Tell him that that is all true, but the blood ot Jesus Christ cleanses from all sin."

"Yes," shouted Luther, starting up, "Yes, foul fiend, you have not painted it half black enough, but you forget to put at the bottom of that record of sin that the blood of Christ cleanses from all sin." So saying, he took an inkstand and flung it at the head of the fiend who fled at the mention of the Lord.

What can we learn from this, face the trial but know that Jesus is with you all through the time of your trial. Do not ever doubt His promise, but only beleive.

Jesus said,
"... I am with you always, even to the end of the age." (Matt 28:20)
. When you are conscious of the presence of Jesus living in you and with you by faith (John 14:17, 23), immediately the Holy Spirit will quicken you the right truth to confess through your mouth for every situation. Then as you say it, the victory of Jesus will be yours for the GLORY OF GOD!

When you feel that you can't stand the trial anymore, that is when you are availing the power of the supernatural to your situation which brings you out of your trial immediately. The anointing works powerfully in you when you feel the weakest and the most inadequate.

Head in Heaven, Feet on Earth!

You Are a Product of Your Faith

By Abraham Israel

"Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth." (Col.3:15).

The greatest test for a human regarding who is the real God in their lives is based on whether one has set his affection on things on earth or on things of heaven.

The greatest Saints who pleased God the greatest were the one who set their minds on things of heaven. When we walk with God consistently there comes a inner yearning for God and then the things of God over a period of time.

This keeps on increasing in us, until our whole life gets set on fire and excited for things of heaven that God has promised to give us.

Never forget that the man who was literally called as a friend of God finally desired for the city of God in heaven by allowing God to burn those earthly desires
(Isa 41:8). The Scripture says, "...[Abraham] waited for the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God." (Heb 11:10). God has blessed him so much in all the earthly things (Gen 24:35), but he allowed God to cleanse him of all the worldly and earthly attitude of mind that when he became old, the most intense desire he had at that time was to enter in to the city of God in heaven. Many Christians who have become old these days have no such desire and they desire to live on earth a little longer more. This shows that they have not yet let their soulish life to die by carrying their cross daily (Luke 9:23). The faster we allow God to deal with our inner earthly desire, the more faster we will gain the desire for heavenly things.

The Apostolic man named Paul who had been one of the greatest man who is worthy of being emulated said,
"... I die daily" (1 Cor 15:31) before he by the revelation of the heavenly things could say, "For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us." (Rom 8:18). We die to earthly life and desires to inherit and experience the heavenly life of God and His joy. True Christian life is something we lose to gain, die to live, give to gain, disinherit to inherit, forget to keep things afresh, forgive to be forgiven and be loved from above to learn love below.

One of the best trickery of Satan to make us become earthly is to make us lose our identity we have in our God. When we forget who we are and for whom we live for, we soon tend to lose focus on the value of all the eternal heavenly things over the temporal earthly things
(2 Cor 4:18).

A purposeful life lived for God on earth can only bring the greatest GLORY TO GOD. We fail to live purposefully when we fail to remember who we are in Christ Jesus to God. As we are God's children now through faith
(Gal 3:26), therefore we can choose to be perfect just as our Father in Heaven is perfect by focusing on things and power of heaven to transform us from the earthly mind that corrupts our thinking (Matt 5:48; Rom 12:2; Col 3:9-10).

This small story will make us understand the power of identity and mind transformation that is needed to live with our mind focussed on heaven so that our feet will automatically walk on earth purposefully.

A story is told of a farmer man who found an eagle’s egg. He put it with his chicken eggs and then the mother hen incubated over it.

Soon the egg hatched. The young eagle grew up with all the other chickens. Whatever the chickens did, the eagle also did. He thought he was a chicken, just like them.

Since the chickens could only fly for a short distance, the eagle also learnt to fly a short distance. He thought that was what he was supposed to do. So that was all that he thought he could do. And that was all he was able to do.

As the farmer was a naturalist, he did not like the eagle to live like a hen for long. So he decided to take it to a high mountain and train it to fly in freedom as an eagle always does.

So he took the eagle in a small cage and reached the top of a beautiful mountain, there he opened the cage and set the bird free. But to his dismay it began to keep its eyes on the ground and strutted around in circles, looking every inch a big, over-sized chicken.

But as the young eaglet saw other eagles flying just above it, it impressed this young one greatly. It really got excited at that point of time. Also the naturalist farmer always have heard of how the mother eagle trains its young ones to fly by dropping it from great altitude. So he finally decided to drop the young eagle from that high altitude.

Then the naturalist farmer took the eaglet for one last time, then lifted it up and threw it up high in to the air, the young eaglet begal to fall steeply in great fear. But suddenly it began to flap its wings when its instinct kicked up in its mind. At that point of time, a strong wind blew and lifted the eaglet high up in to the sky. The eaglet then in a matter of time began to adjust the angle of its wings against the flow of the wind and began to enjoy flying in freedom.

The naturalist farmer with much satisfaction and joy returned to his home. The eagle from that time would return to his farm occasionaly and would sit in a high tree to visit its native place where it grew, but not even once did it return to be with the chickens. Why? It understood its identity.

Then the hens asked its older mother why the eagle doesn't join them to scratch the earth with them to find worms anymore for food, but just sits on that high tree to relax and then fly away, then the mother hen said, “That’s the eagle, the king of the birds. It belongs to the sky. We belong to the earth – we are chickens."

What can we learn from this great story?

If only we can realise that we belong to a heavenly goverment and take our mind from earthly things to focus on heavenly things, soon we will begin to fly higher and higer by the wind of the Holy Spirit who will begin to make us float continiously in the high altitude of heavenly joy, peace and positive thinking.

We who are royal eagles do not have to live like earthly chikens. Our behaviour follows our belief, in other words once we believe that we are a new creature in Christ Jesus, we will begin to behave like the sons of God as we continue to pursue our journey in to the high altitude heavenly thinking
(2 Cor 5:17; Gal 3:26). People who are like the chikens with an earthly thinking should see and realise that we are not like them any more after we have learnt to fly high spiritually. Our talk, walk, thinking, purpose and all our desire should be very much royal in its outlook like our God. As we take effort to break that earthly thinking that brings fear in to our mind and replace it with the heavenly thinking that establishes us in faith and more faith, eternal dividends will be reaped by us for our diligent efforts to seek God and the things that are above.

"Be who God meant you to be and you will set the world on fire." - St. Catherine of Siena

Expounding John 14:30

Expounding John 14:30

Q: Praise the Lord! I want to know gospel of John ch14 vs30.

A: "I will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler of this world is coming, and he has nothing in Me." (John 14:30)
. Here Jesus was saying to His disciples that he has no more time left to speak much to them as in the days past when He taught them freely every place. Just hours before the cross of Calvary Jesus was speaking this verse, so Satan has already started to move upon people including Judas because God's appointed time for Him came to pass (John 13:30). The devil had nothing of any sin in Jesus to take hold of Him and self-destroy Him. So he had to find people to make Jesus die. Blessings...

Still Some More on "Is the Law Really for Us?"

Still Some More on "Is the Law Really for Us?"

Q: I really need to study what u wrote but I thank you so very much for taking time to explain this. I am studying the Bible very slowly to get a masters degree in Divinity. I know very little about it all. I have never read the entire thing, (I read most of the NT though) but God is giving me prophecies about things that are in the Bible things I've never read.

And I also would like to know two things- Why then if all this were true, would Jesus not tell the disciples NOT to keep doing sacrifices- why would his closest disciples keep doing it, if we are considered only under grace-
It simply does not make sense-- I understand that the gentiles were to be saved, but where in the Bible does it say they do not have to partake in the Old Laws?

Not the parts that Paul has declared. I have already formed an opinion about his preaching. I want to know where does JESUS say that nobody will need to follow the Jewish way..u showed me the Samrian woman, but maybe I missed something-- when I lookthere it says that God will be worshipped in many places-- not that they will not follow Jewish traditions. God bless and thanks for writing.

A: You need to believe that whether it is Paul, Peter or Jesus in the New Testament, Moses, Jeremiah, Isaiah or Jonah in the Old Testament, all of them were equally inspired by God to write and expound the Holy Scriptures. All carry the same weight of God's authority. Most importantly one Scripture will have another one to agree with it in some other part of the Bible
(Isaiah 35:16). If a Scripture cannot back up another one in any other place, as there can be no discrepancy in the Word of God and it is without any error, so we must have taken the interpretation in a wrong way or out of context. All the word of God that has come out of His mouth carries the same power to fulfill what has been spoken by God and it will not return void without fulfilling its purpose (Isaiah 55:10-11).

Hear what the Scripture says,
"16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work." (2 Tim 3:16-17). Apostle Peter said the same thing in a different way by saying, "20 knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, 21 for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit." (2 Peter 1:20-21).

Jesus did not tell all the things in the Gospels itself because all the apostles and disciples were not born again at that time, as a result of it they did not have the Spiritual capacity to receive the spiritual messages of Jesus in to their heart. They were all born again only after Jesus rose from the dead
(1 Cor 15:15-16; John 20:21-23). All the things that Jesus spoke in the Gospels He spoke it in a figurative language because of the lack of spiritual understanding in his disciples due to the lack of the internal ministry of the Holy Spirit in their heart (John 16:25; Matt 15:15; 1 Cor 2:10, 13-14). Hear what Jesus told His disciples before His death when they wanted Him to speak to them plainly, " 12 “I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. 13 However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. 14 He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you." (John 16:12-14). In other words, many things that Jesus Himself desired to tell to His disciples were restrained because of lack of understanding in the spiritual hearing capacity of His disciples and therefore many revelations that Jesus spoke to them were not in the Four Gospels, but was revealed to them later of which Paul was one of the important person in it to receive (Gal 1:11-12).

Apostle Peter who is the foundation of the universal Church that God has built on earth, himself acknowledged it when he said,
"15 and consider that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation—as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given to him, has written to you, 16 as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which untaught and unstable people twist to their own destruction, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures." (2 Peter 3:15-16). The bottom-line is, we ought to obey all the Scripture equally and not just the part we feel like is right.

From this we also understand that all the revelations that the apostles received was a progressive one. They were born again after Jesus rose from the dead
(John 20:21-23), and received the Gift of the Holy Spirit exactly fifty days after this on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2:1-4). They learned from the School of the Holy Spirit more and more, so we cannot expect all to be said in the first twenty years of the first century Church. But true to the words of Jesus which He spoke prophetically over John the Revelator (John 21:21-24), Jesus revealed the whole Scriptures and placed a full stop to the inspired Scripture before the first century could end with the Book of Revelation. So later all the Church historians took all the inspired ones and canonized the writings of the Apostles by the guidance of the Holy Spirit and here we have a beautiful New Testament in our hands which has been used for the last two thousand years. Praise the Lord!

Here is what the Bible says regarding partaking in the Old Laws,
" 11 And every priest stands ministering daily and offering repeatedly the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. 12 But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God, 13 from that time waiting till His enemies are made His footstool. 14 For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified." (Heb 10:11-14). The Old Testament Laws could not take away the sins of people permanently, but through the one perfect sacrifice of Jesus, it was absolutely achieved for all humans alike. Now because it is all achieved by Jesus, He need not keep sacrificing Himself repeatedly like in the Old Laws which were only a copy and shadow of the reality of Jesus on the Cross, now Jesus sits at the right hand of God to disperse His blessings upon His followers on earth (Heb 9:24-26).

The first covenant was with faults
(Heb 8:7), so God gave it as a temporary remedy until the perfect fulfillment could come through Jesus the Word of God who was made flesh (Gal 3:19; Heb 1:1-2; John 1:1-4, 14). The first covenant did not give a permanent remedy to sin problem of humans. God has made the first covenant obsolete by giving us the new covenant through Jesus, the old one is growing old and is ready to vanish away in at-least another thousand years time (Heb 8:13).

Apostle Paul clearly spelled it with out mincing words although he himself was a Jew then because of the revelation of God that he received from Jesus
(Phil 3:4-6; Rom 11:1, 13). Here is what he said to all Christian, "16 So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon or sabbaths, 17 which are a shadow of things to come, but the substance is of Christ. 18 Let no one cheat you of your reward, taking delight in false humility and worship of angels, intruding into those things which he has not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind, 19 and not holding fast to the Head, from whom all the body, nourished and knit together by joints and ligaments, grows with the increase that is from God. 20 Therefore, if you died with Christ from the basic principles of the world, why, as though living in the world, do you subject yourselves to regulations— 21 “Do not touch, do not taste, do not handle,” 22 which all concern things which perish with the using—according to the commandments and doctrines of men? 23 These things indeed have an appearance of wisdom in self-imposed religion, false humility, and neglect of the body, but are of no value against the indulgence of the flesh." (Col 2:16-23). In other words, Paul was saying if you could keep yourself out of this religious way of living based on the law, please do keep it for a living relationship with God. At the same time he did not discourage people who kept it by saying, " 4 Who are you to judge another’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls. Indeed, he will be made to stand, for God is able to make him stand. 5 One person esteems one day above another; another esteems every day alike. Let each be fully convinced in his own mind. 6 He who observes the day, observes it to the Lord; and he who does not observe the day, to the Lord he does not observe it. He who eats, eats to the Lord, for he gives God thanks; and he who does not eat, to the Lord he does not eat, and gives God thanks. 7 For none of us lives to himself, and no one dies to himself." (Rom 14:4-7). In other words, here Paul was saying that if someone wants to keep the law let them keep it. The bottom line that Paul wants all Christians to understand was that, all should live to the Lord and die to our soulish ways to please the Lord by faith. We absolutely belong to the Lord when we are really born again, no matter what level of spiritual maturity we have reached in our spiritual lives.

All that God speaks will be within the framework of His Word and it is our responsibility as a Christian to search the Scripture and know what we feel as God speaking to us is really from Him or our soulish mind or from the devil
(Acts 17:10-12; 1 Thes 5:20-21; James 3:14-16).

Be a good Apostolic by Studying the Scriptures and Living Life in its abundance!

Much Blessings.......

Still More on "Is the Law Really for Us?"

Still More on "Is the Law Really for Us?"

Q: The part I question is where you say that the temple sacrifices were made obsolete in Christ. If this were true, then why would Jesus have not taught this to people? The truth is in history, isn't it?

Don't you think he would have preached to everyone- "hey! Forget three sacrifices! They aren't needed anymore!" But that's not what happened!! His closest disciples, lead by his own brother James continued sacrificing and keeping all the Laws!

So you say it's because of habit, or tradition they did so? Of course not! Logic tells us that Jesus would have taught them differently. But that's not what happened. Now instead, we have a watered down Church that says there is no need to keep any Laws. Jesus would have told people they did not need to keep the Laws but he said "I did not come to abolish the Law but fulfill it."

I am really seeking God on this.
I was born Jewish. I have had a Bat Mitzvah, I learned Hebrew and spent a great deal of my childhood at a temple. As a child, Judaism was empty without Jesus - so I rejected it and at 20 I became heavily involved with Hinduism and learning about other religions- (which led to my downfall).

The point is, JESUS WAS JEWISH. He was a rabbi- he was perfect- and he was PERFECT BECAUSE HE FOLLOWED THE OLD LAWS! God is showing me that the earliest and most full someone can be is to be following what the earliest church was doing just after Jesus's death - of course, this movement only lasted 100 years before it was overtaken by the other more Pagan ones. Think about it-- yes?

A: I praise God that you finally came to know JESUS as your Lord and Savior. I understand that you know much about Jewish Traditions and that you are born one. I welcome it.

See the first few decades as the Church was born in Judaistic background among the Jews, they thought that this new faith that Jesus introduced was only for the Israelites as usual
(Eph 2:12; Rom 11:24). Even Jesus said and confirmed this pattern of thinking as right initially by saying to the Samaritan Gentile woman, " You worship what you do not know; we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews." (John 4:22). But He did not stop there, He continued saying prophetically about a time that is coming after His death and resurrection in which the Father God was desiring to accept worship of humans from their spirit-man through Jesus the Truth, apart from all temple traditions and laws (John 4:23-24). The worship of the True God has transcended at this point of time, beyond time, space, knowledge, creed and traditions.

Jesus knew that the Church initially will be born as a Jewish one and this is the reason Apostle Peter was told,
"18 And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. 19 And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”" (Matt 16:18-19). Jesus revealed Himself through Peter on the day of Pentecost to the whole world, to this day we look back to the day of Pentecost in which the Lord Jesus has laid the foundation of the Church through Peter. But Jesus knew that the Gospel need to spread from being Jewish to be adaptable to all the ends of the earth as a spiritual force and not as a tradition of any religion. This is the reason Jesus did not teach tradition to His disciples, instead instructed them to receive the Spiritual Dynamite power of the Holy Spirit and then spread it to the whole wide world (Acts 1:8). They all received the power of the Spirit on the day of Pentecost, but began to show prejudice towards all those people who were not Jews because of the Jewish tradition in which they were bound.

But God had to break their wrong mindset, this started with Peter who was the leader of the whole pack of Christians. God showed a vision of unclean animals and told him to eat it. This was totally considered as unclean and was prohibited in Jewish religion. But the message of God was conveyed that Peter's Jewish tradition should not keep him bound from sharing the gospel with the Gentiles
(Acts 10:9-23). Then through Divine connection people were sent from the house of Cornelius the Gentile who was a Centurion of Italian Regiment, to call Peter and hear from him the gospel of their Salvation. This man was one who was a devout man, feared God with all his household, gave alms generously to people and prayed always to God (Acts 10:1-8). When Peter with all his Jewish apostolic elders of the Jerusalem Church reached the place, the Gentiles were gathered in the house of Cornelius. Then as Apostle Peter began to speak about the good new of Jesus Christ, the gift of the Holy Spirit along with the external evidence of speaking in tongues was given to all the Gentiles (Acts 10:44-48). This made all the Jewish apostolic company of elders, along with Apostle Peter to agree that God has put the stamp of approval over the Gentiles also as a part of the commonwealth of Israel (Eph 2:12). This transformed the Jewish Church to become a universal one. Then Peter defended God's grace about the gift of salvation and the Holy Spirit given to Gentiles too like themselves at Pentecost (Acts 11:1-3, 14-18).

God had to break this traditional mind set of Peter more and more so that He could be used to spread the Gospel around the world. Then God raised a zealous apostle out of the staunch religious Jewish Pharisees of that time who persecuted the Jewish Church in Jerusalem and its surrounding places
(Gal 1:13-14), and began to use him powerfully among the Gentiles to spread the Gospel (Gal 2:8). Nearly one third of the whole New Testament revelation came to this man who had been revealed with a terrific understanding about the Church Universal (Gal 1:11-12). When Apostle Peter tried to act hypocritically before the Jewish brethren according to their traditional prejudice towards Gentiles, Apostle Paul withstood Peter to his face in this matter. The question that Apostle Paul asked says much about their hypocritical mindset of these Jewish Christian Leaders, "14 But when I saw that they were not straightforward about the truth of the gospel, I said to Peter before them all, “If you, being a Jew, live in the manner of Gentiles and not as the Jews, why do you compel Gentiles to live as Jews? 15 We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles, 16 knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified." (Gal 2:14-16). This proves that the religion of works is no more valid to practice after the truth of the Gospel is plainly told that a man can only be justified [i.e. made righteous and be declared by God as some one with no sin at all in his account] though faith in Jesus Christ. Now as a Christian we work and discipline ourselves to win the prize of eternal rewards (1 Cor 9:24-27). We keep the Law to discipline ourselves and it is for our own good we keep now and it does not affect our relationship with God anymore (Eph 1:6; Col 2:13-14).

Christianity is a relationship with God that is not based on a "DO, DO..." kind of religious demand, but a clear message of "DONE, DONE...." shout of victory that should move us to believe more and more in the promises of God
(John 19:30; 2 Cor 2:14). All the demand for pleasing God has been "PAID IN FULL- IT'S FINISHED" forever. This is the reason Apostle Paul clearly told, "For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us." (2 Cor 1:20). Praise the Lord!

The third Jewish Temple will be built up in the coming years according to the prophecies of God and sacrifices will be done until the day of abomination of desolation
(Rev 11:1-2; 2 Thes 2:3-4; Matt 24:15), in which illegally the Anti-christ will stop the temple Sacrifices and will declare himself to be the messiah of the whole world (Daniel 9:27). When Jesus comes to rule the earth during the Millennium, he will again rebuild the tabernacle of David which will be in ruins at that time and will set up a universal temple in which Jesus Himself will be the Ark of the Testimony (John 2:21), Jesus will make the rest of the mankind to seek the Lord from the whole wide world (Acts 15:16-17).

Festivals of the Feast of Tabernacles will be compulsory for all the nations to partake every year and the blessing of God over their nations will depend on whether they partake in this or not
(Zech 14:16-17). Whoever fails to come voluntarily will have no rain and also plagues will follow the famine, this shall be the punishment for all the nations that fails to partake and keep this feast (Zech 14:18-19).

In the Book of Ezekiel, God has already established the new Laws that will be implemented during the Millennium reign of Jesus on this planet earth
(Ezekiel 40-48). When I say, "the temple sacrifices were made obsolete in Christ", it speaks about a privileged and separate entity named as "the Church of the Living God" which lives above the traditions of all religions because of being bought by the blood of the Son of God (1 Tim 3:15; Matt 16:18; Acts 20:28; 1 Cor 6:19-20; Col 2:16-23). The Millennium saints will not be under the same New Covenant privileges, but they will pay homage to the work of Christ which has redeemed them and have given them the blessing which they will enjoy through out the Millennium rule of Jesus Christ (Phil 2:10-11; John 5:23). A New Millennium Covenant will be established by Jesus based on the New Covenant work of Christ (Zech 12:10-14; Rom 11:25-26). This New Millennium Covenant will be a spiritual one that will make all the people of Israel to become born-again in their spirit-man (Jer 31:31-36). All of the remnant of Israelites left at the end of the Great Tribulation will all be saved in a day (Matt 24:13).

Jesus was perfect not just because He followed the Law and fulfilled it, but He had no sin nature inside Him and was made to be sin by God for us
(John 1:29, 36; Phil 2:8; 2 Cor 5:21). By coming in the likeness of the sinful flesh, Jesus condemned sin in the flesh (Rom 8:4). By this one offering God has perfected us forever who are being sanctified (Heb 10:10, 14). Now that we have been shown the Love of God through Jesus the Son of God while we were yet sinners, now we replicate and reflect that love towards God and others. This is the Royal Law in the New Testament that makes us fulfill all other laws of God (Rom 5:8; 13:8-9; James 2:8). So while peopl around us are still imperfect in their outlook towards us and others, we learn to LOVE THEM UNCONDITIONALLY THROUGH THE LOVE OF GOD which the Holy Spirit gives and fills our heart when we sincerely desire it (Rom 5:5). In other words, "Love is the fullfillment of the law." for the New Covenant Church (Rom 13:11).

Blessings.......

More on "Is the Law Really for Us?"

Q: I always read your articles, and it's nice to finally hear somebody teach that Jesus has not abolished the law. But I am reading into the history of the early church just after Jesus died, and did you know that ALL of his disciples, even his brother James, continued to keep kosher, and follow "the Law" and EVEN DO THE SACRIFICES IN THE TEMPLE?

History says an entirely different story than what the church is teaching today. If God had Intended for the OT law to be abolished and not practiced, don't you think Jesus would have taught this?

Why then was his own brother continuing to keep kosher and following the Law perfectly?

Yes, history tells an entirely different story. The church is teaching wrong ideas. I suggest research on it. God bless you!

A: The Jews were not required to reject their practice of their law, but that they would not be saved by keeping it was the Gospel emphasis of the Apostles (Acts 16:1, 3). At the same time the Gentiles were not required to keep the law because they will be saved not by keeping the law, but by their faith in Christ (Acts 15:6-11, 18--21, 23-29). This is the reason Paul the Apostle said regarding Salvation, "For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but a new creation." (Gal 6:15). In other words, Paul was emphasizing in the preceding verse that whether we keep the Jewish Law as Jew or a Gentile, it is of no value in regard to Salvation. The main thing is to become a new born again person in our spirit-man that gains us guarantee of heaven after our death. Keeping the Law does not save us now, but it can keep us from sin when we do it by Grace. This law is the law of the Spirit of life that comes within our spirit-man to our soul. When we operate in this law of the Spirit, we not only keep the TEN COMMANDMENTS naturally, BUT OF A HIGHER LEVEL OF LAW WHICH JESUS SPOKE IN 'THE BEATITUDES' because of the grace of God that we receive from the Lord Jesus (Matt 5).

Yes I understand, the reality is that the law of the letter has been abolished which are only a shadow of the real person of Jesus Christ, but this law that I speak about is the law of the Holy Spirit who tells what is right and what is wrong based on His Word
(Heb 5:14). The rituals of the temples are done forever and is made obsolete in Christ Jesus (Col 2:16-17, 21-23; Heb 9:13-14; 8:4-5). The way the law of God are kept by us in the New Covenant will be through a relationship with God by Grace through faith. Keeping the Law is not a righteous requirement for friendship with God, but it will come as a outflow of the sweet relationship with God by His awesome power.

There is no compulsion to keep the Law in the New Testament because it has already been fulfilled in Christ Jesus
(Heb 8:11-13). We do not conform to any standard because Jesus Himself becomes our standard to live life forever (1 Peter 2:21). Thanks and Blessings......
