Should the prophet or his prophecies be judged in the New Testament times?

Q: Can we judge a man of God based on the prophecy he has given?

A: "Who are you to judge another’s servant? To his own master [i.e. Jesus Christ] he stands or falls. Indeed, he will be made to stand, for God is able to make him stand." (Rom 14:4).

Never judge the man of God, but judge the prophecies and throw it away if it is not true (1 Thess 5:20-21; 1 Cor 14:29-32). Because the spirit of a prophet is subject to the prophet, human error can creep in any time. 

Jonah's prophecy never got fulfilled (Jonah 3:4) because the Lord relented (Jonah 3:10). If a man who heard his prophecies judged him and if he had said 'Jonah was a false prophet', he would be under the wrath of God. What I am trying to say is 'Never judge God's servants easily.' 

The prophet Agabus was only partially right in his prophecy regarding Paul's arrest, even he used the phrase 'thus says the Holy Spirit', but nobody came against him to judge him as false prophet (Acts 21:10-12, 31-33). This was not a ordinary young prophet, he had been established prophet in the apostolic times with great success and accuracy of the prophetic word regarding world events in his past (Acts 11:28). This shows even established prophets are sometimes prone to mistakes, so do not judge the servant of God but always judge the prophecies and throw it away if it is not accurate or not right.

And also New Testament prophets and prophecies cannot be equated to Old Testament prophets or prophecies because during the Old Testament times God spoke directly to God's peoples through His prophets as divine oracles (Heb 1:1-2; Matt 21:34-37). All the written oracles has once and for all been written by the foundational apostles and prophets in the first century itself and a full stop has been placed at the end of it, to no more add anything or take away anything from it (Rev 22:18-19). In our New Testament times the last and the final oracles from God has been give to His people forever to follow His Word eternally (John 1:1-18). JESUS IS THE LAST AND THE FINAL WORD OF GOD TO US HUMANS (Matt 21:37). The New Testament servants of God are gifts given by Jesus to the Body of Christ to act as facilitators and spiritual coaches to empower the people of God (Eph 4:11-14). 

The bottom line is, 'Each believer should test the word of God or prophecies for himself/herself through the enlightening anointed ministry of the Holy Spirit within them (1 John 2:20, 27), and not blame the inaccuracies of the man of God like in the Old Testament times where this personal ministry of the Holy Spirit was not given to any of them (John 16:12-14).'
