Can Christians Become Actors or Actresses In Movies?

Is Acting In Movies A Sin?

Question : Hello pastor, How are you? Please pray for me ok. I am planning to do a movie and trying to get finance for that. My ambition in life is to become a film actor and I am trying for that. Pastor can I succeed in that? Is acting a sin? Just wanted to know. I am a singer and if there is any chance I get, I will sing too...but on the whole I want to become a film actor.

Answer : Greetings to you in Jesus name! I am doing wonderfully well by the grace of God. You have asked one very important that many teenagers do have.

To understand this issue fully, we must go to the basic and then come to deal with this issue. Who has given talents and gifts to all humans, whether it be in media, sports, business, education, science and technology and in all areas of our human existence? The Bible says,
"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning." (Jam 1:17). In other words, the devil doesn't have any ability to provide any gift to any humans out of his own resource except that which has come from God. God gives only good and perfect gifts to all humans whom He has created in His own image for His own purpose (Gen 1:26; Col 1:16-18).

We know that the devil comes for nothing but to steal, kill and destroy all humans through deception and use them as means to promote his own evil agenda against God (John 10:10). So Satan as the
"god of this world" system of governance and the "Prince of this present world" (2 Cor 4:4; John 14:30), he influences the mind of people constantly to appeal to their self and flesh to deceive them to use their gifts and talents to promote his own hidden agenda of spreading his lies against God and thus at the end destroy them away from the God who loves them and has a eternal purpose for them in Christ Jesus (John 8:44; Rom 8:28-30). "The Lord has made everything for his own purposes." (Proverbs 16:4, NLT) and therefore God gives His (Isaiah 26:3, TEV Paraphrased), “... perfect peace [only] to those who keep their purpose firm and put their trust in ...[Him].”

“Obsession with self in these matters [of flesh which promotes our own idea to achieve fame, money and status in life] is a dead end; attention to God's purpose leads us into purposeful and heavenly abundant life of meaning and satisfaction.” (Romans 8:6, MSG Paraphrased).

The talent to act, sing and take a film is a gift that is given to you by God and He will also never take back his gift even if you choose to use it for yourself to become famous and not use it for God's purpose (Rom 11:29). But as for you, your treasure in heaven will be nothing at the end of your earthly life if you choose to use the God-given gifts for yourself and also the peace, joy and righteousness that God gives to all his children who live purposefully for His Glory, you will never experience it in your life if you continue in that wrong choice (Matt 6:19-21, 33). When a gift is used for self that should have been used for God, it will never bring satisfaction or meaning to the life lived as it has been originally designed by God for His Glory. This is the reason Apostle Paul said to all believers, "31 Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God. 32 Give no offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God: 33 Even as I please all men in all things, not seeking mine own profit, but the profit of many, that they may be saved." (1 Cor 10:31-33). In other words, the Great Apostle Paul was saying, it doesn't matter how you are living for your physical existence as long as you know whom you are living for and doing all your work for His Glory. Next he is saying, check your activity to find what you do is bringing glory to God or not? Do not do things that might be a stumbling block to people in the world who might be Jews, Non Jews or the Church of God.

If you are using your gifts and talents in the area of media, singing, directing and acting heartily for the extension of the kingdom of God and to bring glory to God, you will receive eternal reward in heaven or else you will regret for it the rest of your eternity as it can never come back again (Col 3:17, 23-25).

In this regard I have something to say, recently I have heard questions in these areas from some good young people who are living for God. They asked me citing some Christian musicians who work as music directors and famous cinema artists in South India, who are even allowed to play in one of the biggest Churches in their youth music team and who have facebook account in which other so called pastors even congragulate them for their new songs and works that they do for the world of cinema. When they were confronted by these young people about it, they began to say that what they do is a professional work and that they are doing it to share the gospel of Jesus Christ within the Cinema industry. O what a shame to the name of our Lord Jesus caused by the Shepherds who have set not a holy standard within the Church to face the world with holy boldness!

Jesus said that we are in the world and not of the world (John 17:11, 14-16), which means Jesus expected us not to get conformed to the world's way of thinking but be renewed in our mind by the God's word which is the truth when embodied by us becomes a living testimony to the world (Rom 12:2; Matt 5:14, 16). One must consider what the Apostle James said, "11 Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter? 12 Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh. 13 Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom." (James 3:11-13). In other words, Apostle James is asking, how can someone speak and work as the world does and say that they are doing professional work for spreading of the gospel of the kingdom of God? Can the pure water of the Spirit which is the gospel of God mix with the gutter water of vanity, lust, pride, perversion, jealousy and all kinds of fleshly works in the cinema field to make a difference in these fields (Gal 5:19-21)? These are nothing but the wisdom and confusion and every evil thing that is earthly, sensual and demonic which is set on fire by self-seeking souls who try to hide themselves behind the name of Christ by boasting and lying against the truth of God for which the pillar and foundation is the Church (James 3:6, 14-16; 1 Tim 3:15). These men who have sold their gift to the devil for self-seeking glory, money and survival, they must repent and come to use their gift to promote the gospel ministry which has to be done by faith. If they want to continue to play music within the Church, they must sanctify themselves for the Lord's use completely and should leave the Cinema industry completely or should be able to take secular films with godly Biblical values by aligning themselves with like minded people. They will not be able to get money from financiers for it like in the world which promotes filth, but they can sacrificially sanctify themselves to be used by God alone and thus storing for themselves treasures in heaven. We can either serve God or money, it is our decision whom we will follow, but we cannot serve both (Luke 16:13).

No believer who sell their gift for themselves within the world should ever try to hide their bad example by shamelessly using the name of the gospel or the Lord to justify their evil works. Jesus clearly warned such people by saying, " 41 For whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because ye belong to Christ, verily I say unto you, he shall not lose his reward. 42 And whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea. 43 And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: 44 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched." (Mark 9:41-44). I myself have seen more and more young people within the Church who see such bad example, start to either compromise to become conformed to the world or even they fall away from God seeing them. O such people must be beware of God's judgment coming upon them!

Such gifted musicians and directors who are saved but are setting a bad example to others in the world and within the Church should know according to Apostle Paul that, "12 ...every one of us shall give account of himself to God. 13 Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumbling block or an occasion to fall in his brother's way." (Rom 14:12-13). Let us not compare our spiritual life with the one who is weaker than us to justify our wrong doings and thus bring a shame to the Lord, rather let us focus on the Lord Jesus who is the author and finisher of our faith, who must be our only example to follow along with those who follow Him (Heb 12:2; 1 Cor 11:1). Let us judge our spiritual fruits and lives not by do's and dont's of the law which only brings more sin and death (1 Cor 15:56; Rom 3:20; 4:15; 7:8; 6:23), but let us serve God by the "law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus" (Rom 8:2) which is the newness of the Spirit that always leads us to act as the sons and daughters of God (Rom 7:6; 8:14).

Let us ask ourselves the question before we do anything for God's glory, if Jesus were in my place will he do what I have planned do for God's glory? If Jesus was standing with me in planning and executing what I have planned to do for God's glory, will He still do it? Does what I have planned, will it compromise my righteous lifestyle? Am I seeking for my glory and seeking for money to promote a good cause and using God's name to justify my faulty thinking? Am I using a good cause as a cloak to cover myself away from the God's cause of a sacrificial and a sanctified life that He is always pleased with? So acting in itself is not a sin, but for whom we are doing it will decide whether it will become a sin or not in our lives. We cannot become conformed to the world as we have seen in the above scenario, and then try to justify ourselves like the self righteous Pharisees tried to do many times before Jesus, thus forgetting that they were committing abomination in the sight of the Lord (Luke 16:14-15). Instead of being deceived to justify ourselves, we must rather judge ourselves in the light of the word of God which is the "sword of the Spirit" (Eph 6:17) that operates and removes all fleshly growth within us whenever we allow it to do its powerful work against earthly, sensual and demonic wisdom that tries to control us, then God Himself will be pleased with us and will not be chasten us, instead He will keep us safe from being condemned with the world (1 Cor 11:31-32).

So from the above exposition, I want to clearly convey it to you that you have a gift from God in the area of media, directing, singing and other related areas. So I would suggest you to give it back to the Lord and tell Him to use it for His Glory! You can dream big and ask God to guide you to people who will make movies with Biblical themes and values which will draw people towards the Lord and the gospel. For that to happen, you need a mustard seed size of faith that will pray and command the circumstances until you see God guide you and give you connection with godly people who will make this happen (Matt 21:21-22). I believe you can succeed if your can believe! Also why not first start taking small videos for Sunday class and youth meetings that will inspire this generation and draw them towards the Lord. Why not discuss it with like minded godly people who also have passion to fulfill God's purpose in these areas where you are gifted with? Even if nobody is there, you go alone by faith as a pioneer and do it for the glory of God! You can act for the Lord with a desire to draw people to the Lord and not to yourself. Acting is never a sin, if you do it with a right motive and a Biblical values inside you to reach people with the message of the gospel. But never try to join in the worldly stream and try to say that I will glorify God within it and sell your gift for survival, fame and money. If you do, you will be serving only Satan's purpose and God will never be glorified through it.

Lose yourself in God for God's purposes, and very soon you will be surprised to find yourself in joy, satisfaction, with meaning in life and above all find the abundant life of God-quality on earth as He lives in heaven. A wrong means cannot be used to achieve a good purpose and God himself will use only righteous ways to fulfill His purpose of saving people from sin and making them live with Him for eternity. So I hope you will be a shining light for Jesus and a great example to emulate for the young people of our generation to lift up Jesus and glorify God by using your gift for extending the gospel of Jesus Christ. I will be praying for you...

Much Blessings....

The Heavenly Jerusalem And The Earthly Temple, What Is The Connection?

Is The New Jerusalem Described In Rev 21 And The Jehovah Shammah Described In Ezekiel 40-48th Chapter The Same Or Different?

Question: Is the temple called as "New Jerusalem" in Rev 21st Chapter different from Ezekiel's "New Temple" called as Jehovah Shammah described by him in the 40th to 48th Chapter?

Answer : The
"New Jerusalem" in Revelation 21 has 12 gates named after Israel (Rev 21:12), while the "New Temple" described by Ezekiel has 12 gates named after Israel (Eze 48:30). The "New Jerusalem" in Revelation 21 has 12 foundations named after Apostles (Rev 21:14), while the "New Temple" described by Ezekiel has foundation not described. The "New Jerusalem" in Revelation 21 is 1400 miles square and tall (Rev 21:16), while the "New Temple" described by Ezekiel is One mile square (Ezek 48:30). The "New Jerusalem" in Revelation 21 is seen coming Down from heaven (Rev 21:2), while the "New Temple" described by Ezekiel is located in Israel on Earth (Ezek 40:2). The "New Jerusalem" in Revelation 21 has no Temple but God and the Lamb are its Temple (Rev 21:22), while the "New Temple" described by Ezekiel is just north of the city (Eze 40:2). The "New Jerusalem" in Revelation 21 has no sin; nothing impure will ever enter (Rev 21:27), while the "New Temple" described by Ezekiel will have daily sin offerings in the Temple (Eze 45:13-15,17). The "New Jerusalem" in Revelation 21 will have no more death (Rev 21:4), while the "New Temple" described by Ezekiel will still experience death because of continuing sin on earth (Eze 44:25 also Isa 65:20). The "New Jerusalem" in Revelation 21 will have no natural beings but only the perfected ones (Rev 21:27), while the "New Temple" described by Ezekiel will have natural beings (Eze 46:16).

From the above clear differences, we know that the New Jerusalem temple will be in heaven from which the Church and Jesus Himself will operate upon the whole earth with a rod of iron to bring all nations of the earth in to submission to God's will
(Rev 19:14-16), but the New Temple where the Lord Jesus will be present there for a Millennium will be on earth in the present nation of Israel. They are both different locations and different temples.

Much Blessings...

Why Roman Catholics Don't Listen To The Truth?

Where Will The Roman Catholic People Go After Their Death, Heaven Or Hell?

Question : Praise the Lord, Pastor. Roman catholic people are seeking Mary more than the Lord Jesus!! They give more importance to idols, if we tell them that they are doing wrong things because these are against God and his Laws, they are not listening...I have doubt whether someone in this world can see Jesus face to face because we are still unholy. But Catholic people say that they are seeking daily Jesus face. What they are doing, is it right? My BIG DOUBT is, where will the Roman Catholic people go after their death, heaven or hell and that includes holy pope too! I think, you understood my questions, please explain me this Biblically, so I can save my family & my catholic church friends! Thank you.

Answer : Greetings to you in Jesus name dear Brother! Praise the Lord! Roman Catholic people are seeking Mary more than Jesus because they still do not have clear light to see it and are in darkness. Jesus clearly said,
" 22 “The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light. 23 But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness!" (Matt 6:22-23). The spiritual eye within our spirit-man is the lamp of God to illuminate us in the right path of God (Prov 20:27), if that spiritual eyes are opened within us by believing Jesus Christ as our one and only Lord and Savior of our lives (Rom 10:8-13), our whole body will be full of the light of the life of God from heaven (John 1:4-5). But if that spiritual eye lies blind in the natural state of sinfulness and lack of salvation due to Satanic deception of false light as in the case of the Roman Catholic Church (2 Cor 11:14-15), Jesus says how great is the deceptive darkness of Satan more than the other forms of darkness he has projected to keep the world in his grip of destruction. Jesus never appears to anybody to give them entertainment as in the case of many Catholics saying that they are seeking the face of Jesus, but to turn them from darkness in which they are, to the light which turns their lives upside down radically and makes them see as they are as in the eyes of God rather than as they suppose it to be (Acts 26:16-18).

Roman Catholics give more importance than Jesus because they wrongly believe certain facts and have twisted it to make it seem real. Here are some of them, Mary has been deified by the Roman Catholics. Mary the mother of Jesus was described by God as
“highly favored” (Luke 1:28), which really means that she was given much grace to deliver the Son of God who is her Lord from Heaven and the Savior of the world (Luke 1:47; 1 Cor 15:47). Mary was a normal human being like anyone of us, but was chosen by God and was considered a Blessed Woman because she obeyed God's voice immediately (Luke 1:28, 30, 38, 45). Mary was a sinful human being who needed Jesus Christ as her Savior, just like as all of us human beings (Ecclesiastes 7:20; Romans 3:23; 6:23; 1 John 1:8).

The official statement of the Roman Catholic doctrine reads, “The blessed Virgin Mary to have been, from the first instant of her conception, by a singular grace and privilege of Almighty God, in view of the merits of Christ Jesus the Savior of Mankind, preserved free from all stain of original sin.” In other words, the Roman Catholics believe that Mary was protected from original sin from birth, so Mary did not have a sin nature, and was, in fact, sinless. The above statement is blasphemous to the very core, as it takes away the uniqueness of the one and only Son of God Jesus Christ who is God Himself and the only sinless human being born after the first man Adam who was created by God and fell into sin, Jesus Christ is the only person named the last man Adam born without original sin in His human make up within Him because He was God Himself who became human
(2 Cor 5:21; 1 Cor 15:45, 47; 1 Tim 2:5). God finds error even with angels who are His perfect creation, such is the holiness and demand for perfection from God (Job 4:18; Leviticus 11:44,45; 20:26), that He Himself only could save humans from sins by fulfilling the demand of the righteous requirement that His holiness requires (Joshua 24:19; 1 Sam 2:2; Isa 59:2).

The problem with this doctrine of the Immaculate Conception is that it came out of human reasoning of how Jesus Christ could be born sinless if He was conceived inside of a sinful human female. But humans forget to believe that all things are possible with God especially things that are impossible with men
(Luke 1:37; Matt 19:26; Mark 10:27). The Roman Catholic Church argues that the Immaculate Conception is necessary because without it, Jesus would have been the object of His own grace. This they say because of the lack of understanding that Jesus was not just born in human body, but within that human body the spirit-man in whom resided the person of eternal God's Son who was not born but was given to humanity by God from heaven (Isa 9:6; John 3:13, 34; 6:38; 42, 58, 62; Col 2:9). That spirit-man was sinless within him, and sin could not have dominion over Him unless He would have fallen in to sin by taking the bait that Satan threw (Rom 5:12). If Jesus would have got conceived by a natural father on earth, he would have had sin (Matt 1:24-25; Luke 3:23). But He got conceived in Mary's womb when she was overshadowed by the Holy Spirit who took Him from heaven and kept Him inside the womb of Mary (Luke 1:34-35). Sin nature is passed on through the father (Rom 5:12; Heb 7:9-10). So inspite of Mary being a sinful women, God could bring a baby who is sinless in to this world because of the supernatural conception that happened in which Jesus was encased with flesh suit to live on earth and fulfill God's purpose to save humanity (Heb 10:5-7). The spirit-man was alive and well within Jesus without sin, even though His outer covering was in the likeness of the sinful flesh which is the likeness of men but not the production source of men which is actually the seed of the Father (Rom 6:23; Php 2:7; Heb 2:14). Because Jesus was the seed of the woman He could live without sin nature overpowering over Him and condemned sin in the flesh (Rom 8:3; Gen 3:15). "The iniquity of the fathers upon the children" (Exod 20:5), could not come upon Him because of the supernatural conception of Jesus through a woman without the intervention of any man. Jesus fought against sin in His flesh and condemned it on behalf of all humans, now we as saints in Jesus Christ can choose to live free from the power of sin like Jesus Himself (Eph 2:14-15; Col1:19-22; Heb 10:19-22; 1 Peter 2:18; Rom 6:14).

The Bible nowhere indicates that Mary can hear our prayers or that she can mediate for us with God. Infact, the Bible clearly says that Jesus is our one and only advocate and mediator in heaven
(1 Timothy 2:5; 1 John 2:1). Mary also had other children and they were all born when she had relationship with her husband Joseph, because the word "until" is used in Matt 1:25 to indicate that Joseph had no bodily relationship with Mary till Jesus was born, this clearly shows that only Jesus was conceived without any human intervention as Mary was a pure virgin only at that time until she gave birth to Jesus (Matthew 13:55-56; Luke 1:34-38). This above exposition shows how much lies have been perpetrated and proclaimed within the walls of the Roman Catholic Church.

I believe why God has allowed the deception upon the Catholic Church which does not believe the truth of the Word of God but has pleasure in unrighteousness of conducting Church as a business entity around the world is because they do not have the love of the truth so that it might lead them to true salvation
(2 Thess 2:10-12). Catholic Church is the Babylon the Great which is picturised as "THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH", and she has always been the persecutor of the true Church of Jesus Christ (Rev 17:1-6). God will judge it to complete destruction and desolation in a single day during the soon coming time of the period of the one world government in which Anti-Christ will rule the whole earth (Rev 17:13-18; 18:1-24). Catholic Church is mixed with idolatry because it is not the true Church, any born again person within the Catholic Church cannot worship idols without being convicted of their sin and so will come out of it sooner or later to follow the Lord and worship Him in spirit and in truth which is the only acceptable form of worship which God expects all men on earth to do (John 16:7-11; 1 John 3:8-9, John 4:23-24).

Jesus also have confirmed the above facts we have discussed by saying,
"27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. 28 And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. 30 I and My Father are one.”" (John 10:27-28). In other words, all true born again believers in Christ Jesus will hear the voice of Jesus, the Lord will know them personally, they also will follow Jesus in obeying His voice that they will hear within their heart. Once a person is born again by Jesus giving them eternal life, they can never perish spiritually in their lives because of sin, demons and the world. No Satan or any demons from hell can be able to snatch them away from the sovereign control of Jesus because all authority in heaven and earth is held by Him (Matt 28:18). As Jesus and Father God in heaven are working together to fulfill the same purpose of the will of God to be done on earth as it is in heaven, no one can overpower God and will be able to take a Christian out of the secure eternal salvation from sin that He has provided to all who have believed Him unto life (John 10:9-10).

Yes outwardly the Catholic people who have a form of godliness but deny its transforming power might say that they are seeking the face of Jesus daily
(2 Tim 3:5), but in reality their heart is far away from Jesus because of disobedience to the true words and commands of Jesus (Matt 15:8). The Lord has clearly told that without true holiness in life, no one will be able to see God and His righteous activities in their life (Heb 12:14). So when they say that they seek Jesus face, they are really seeking some other bogus Jesus whom they consider as an infant subordinate to the demonic Mary image idol, the real Jesus they never personally or intimately experienced because they are not His obedient sheep who hear His voice or follow Him (Gal 1:6-8; 2 Cor 11:4). The Lord knows those who are His, and all those people who are His sheep whether they are still in Catholic Church or in any other cult, they cannot stay there for long and will therefore depart from iniquity of idolatry and disobedience of false doctrines as they are sealed by God with the Holy Spirit who are the only true followers who not only call themselves with the name of the Lord in addition to their name but with their life testimony, which is what it means to be a real Christian (2 Tim 2:19).

So all Catholic people who are not born again still fail to accept themselves as sinners in need of the one and only Savior Jesus
(John 3:3-8), but continue in their so called religiosity will without doubt go to hell fire where the fire quencheth not and worms die not (Mark 9:45-46). All those Catholics who seek God through Jesus without their clouded mind of seeking God's forgiveness through Mary, will be saved from sin unto salvation (John 6:17; 14:6) and what I say includes pope.

Regarding the salvation of your parents, you cannot speak them in to salvation. But as you are following Jesus, let them see your changed life. This will make a great impact in their lives and will turn them towards our true Savior and Lord Jesus Christ
(1 Peter 3:1). Above all, keep praying for your family to be saved, soon the Holy Spirit will prepare and soften their heart towards the truth of God and will save them in their day of their salvation (1 Tim 2:1-4; 1 Pet 2:12; 2 Cor 6:1-2). Jesus encouraged us to ask the Lord of harvest to supply the salvation bread for our friends and families to be saved (Luke 11:5-8; John 6:44, 48-51), above all He said that persistence is the key for salvation of all for whom we pray to God. So may God use you to bless and save your family from the deception that they are in!

Much Blessings....

What Does It Mean When God Mentions Some One's Name In My Dream?

Does God Really Still Speak Through Dreams?

Question : Hello... Does God really speak through dreams? What does it mean when he mentioned someone's name in a dream whom I have never heard or met in my life? And later I meet two persons with the same name but they turn out to be frauds... I do not know if I have to pursue my dreams or leave it... Pray and let me know your thoughts.

Note: I had been praying for my marriage to know God's will and that is when I had this dream...

Answer : Greetings to you in Jesus name Sister!

Yes God does speak through dreams and visions and He has promised this way of knowing the will of the God to be a prominent one in the last days we are living.

Here is what the promise that God has given to all of us through the very words of Apostle Peter who said,
"17 ‘ And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, that I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your young men shall see visions, your old men shall dream dreams. 18 And on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days." (Acts 2:17-18).

Notice in the above Scripture that the outworking of the infilling with the Spirit of God always without fail will bring prophecy to and through the sons and daughters of God within the Church, it will bring visions to young men, dreams to old men and continually God has promised to fill and empower His menservants and maidservants to fulfill His purpose for their lives. The Old Testament prophet Joel prophesied that the outpouring of the Holy Spirit will be in a future time, but Peter the apostle reiterated and reminded to all people who were gathered together from around the world to celebrate the day of Pentecost two thousand years ago, that the time that has been foretold by that prophet has begun and will continue till the last days are over after which Jesus Christ will come to rule this earth with a rod of iron along with the saints to bring a Millenium of peace on earth between nations
(Rev 19:11, 14-16; 2:27; Psa 2:9).

So we are all living in the last of last days, and so God will save those who call on the name of the Lord Jesus and will fill them with His Spirit more than ever and will tell them about their future through dreams, visions and prophecies so that they will be able to fulfill God's purpose for their lives exactly
(Acts 2:21).

God has not put the men and women of God in the Church to give personal prophecies to all the saints, though prophets and the saints alike can prophesy to one another for the profit of all
(1 Cor 12:7). Through prophesying to one another, we can all learn and be encouraged to walk in the purposes of God, but it should never be predictive or directive unless the Spirit of God has meant it to be like that (1 Cor 14:26-33; Acts 11:27-28). The men and women of God within the five different offices of the Body of Christ (Eph 4:11-16), are primarily given by Jesus as a gift to the Church to give out prophecies and messages for the present time generation right from the word of God to edify, exhort and comfort all the saints (1 Cor 14:3-4). These are not foretelling, these are revealing the will of the Lord through His Word which the Spirit uses for the Church to learn and grow in understanding the will of God more and more (Eph 4:17-20; Rom 12:2). So it is a not a fore telling about the future, rather a forth telling of the message that God wants people to hear to grown in their spiritual lives. God hates men or women of God who direct people through the so called prophecies they give to manipulate and keep people under their control in the New Covenant, because that job is given to the Holy Spirit who has promised to draw people faithfully towards Jesus and speak back the words and plans of Jesus to their heart in love (John 16:13-15; 6:44-45; 14:26; 12:32). So the bottom line I want to convey is that the Holy Spirit loves to speak to God's children about Jesus and His purpose for their lives, and draw them towards the Savior who has died and paid the price to save them from sin and eternal separation from God which is actually worse than the hell fire that keeps burning forever with worms that dies not within (Mark 9:47-48).

So there is a truth in what you say, God might have spoken and given you a dream or a vision to reveal what He has in store for you. The other thing is that you have been also praying to God sincerely for a life mate to come into your life according to His will.

God can reveal through a vision or a dream or even a prophecy, a person's name or their image or even their address and place where they live, to reveal that He has a plan already prepared for their lives
(Acts 10:3-7). But after He reveals something like that, He will test to see whether someone will seek Him for more and wait for His time, or they themselves will take the vision in their own hand to try to fulfill it. This is the actual test of faith that each person must patiently wait to inherit God's promise for their lives (1 Tim 6:12; Heb 10:35-36). Sometimes we like our Father Abraham can try to wait for a while and then through our flesh can try to fulfill the vision by our human logic and strength, and just like it brought great grief to Abraham and his succeeding generations till today, it will also bring great disappointment, grief and sorrows in our lives because the flesh worketh against the plans and purposes of God, and both cannot go together (Gal 5:16-18; 4:29-31). Whatever we try to fulfill ourselves without God accompanying us in His perfect timing, it will try to destroy God's purpose for our lives and Satan would love to see this happen through his deceit that will destroy us sooner or later (John 10:10).

God will allow Satan and his demonic evil deception to test and tempt us, to make our faith proven after which we will receive the reward and His favor for a lifetime
(1 Peter 1:6-7; Psa 30:5). So we must learn to rejoice and count it all joy when we fall into various trials that come to us, through rejoicing we will learn to cooperate with God to make ourselves reach the appointed time of God's promise without much waste of time in the process (James 1:2-4).

In this you have done a mistake by trying to connect the name that God has shown with the people who are called with such names by your own strength and logic to find out who is the right choice of God for your life. You have realised that someone keeping the name that God has spoken to you cannot gurantee that they are a good person, but rather they are fraudsters because of a deceitful heart that they hold within them without realising it
(Jer 17:9-10). But you need to return to the basic of faith, faith plus nothing but waiting for God's timing will bring the right person God has told you in a dream to you in His appointed time.

Learn to say no to the fleshly impulses, and instead pray to God to give the burden for Him to handle whenever it comes upon you, and get strengthened daily by the word of God to be directed towards the destiny that God has for you
(Psa 119:105; Php 4:6-7). I believe that though you might have got confused with what the Lord has told because of the struggle you have gone through, yet in God's timing the fulfillment of His vision will come to pass (Hab 2:2-4). You will be blessed more than all and will never be disappointed when you wait for God to work on behalf of you! God has not failed to act even once for all those who have waited for Him (Isa 64:4). I believe that you are positioned to receive His blessing next, so keeping fighting the good fight of faith to inherit God's promise that He has given to you about your life mate.

Much Blessings....

Did Jesus Really Speak More About Money In All The Gospels?

Was Jesus Rich And Had Amassed Wealth?

Question : Nobody can do ministry without money and it is much needed to establish it and even live life. Jesus must have been rich I believe, even though Jesus never mentioned his seamless Garment in His messages but He wore a very expensive Garment...We also do not know how much might have been in the bank account, although we know he had a treasurer because of his massive wealth. Jesus never spoke about it all, why because it was not important.. what was important? THE GOSPEL- GOOD NEWS- THE WORD. Have I said it right or was it different with Jesus?

Answer : One need not be rich to have a seamless Garment, because Jesus went about doing good and healing the multitudes of sick people, any among the rich or people with a great heart to give to God, might have desired to appreciate what Jesus did, and so could have given a expensive gift like that
(Acts 10:38). More than Judas nobody knew how much they had, because Jesus always used the money that came in for the ministry for the ministry necessities like food for all the disciples and other daily needs and also used to tell Judas to give the rest of the money that they had to the poor (John 12:6, 8; 13:27-29), nobody in the company of Jesus ever thought, worried or bothered about it because of Father God's provision at the point of all their needs, except that they prayed with Jesus and wanted eagerly to learn all His secrets to living the abundant life. Jesus and his apostolic company did not have enough money to buy food for five thousand of his hearers, but depended upon God to multiply food for them which God did miraculously (John 6:5-14). This clearly shows that although Jesus had money given to Him through His supporters, He did store money to amass massive wealth (Luke 8:2-3). God provided Him and his apostolic company whenever there was a need. How can we say that, they walked on their feet all through the land and never had any kind of horses to ride which would have been possible for Him and his disciples if they had such wealth in the bank. At the end of His earthly ministry, If He had massive wealth, He would not have prophetically seen in to the spiritual realm and told His disciples to go and untie a young unridden donkey for Himself to enter Jerusalem as the King and Messiah of Israel, Jesus then told His disciples that if anybody would question them about taking the donkey, He told them to reply that the Lord needs them and they will let go (Matt 21:1-6). They did exactly that and fulfilled his command.

My question is, if Jesus had great wealth, He would not have told the disciples to go and take the donkey, instead He would have given money to buy the donkey itself. To maintain the temple, Jewish males above the age of twelve were all supposed to attend the Passover Feast and donate money. Each person also had to pay a two-drachma temple tax. The drachma represented an average pay for a day laborer according to the parable of Matthew 20. The drachma and the denarius were the basic silver coins of the Greeks and Romans respectively. When the time came to pay the tax individually for the temple which Jewish people paid to the temple authorities, He had no money to pay. Instead Jesus trusted God to provide at that time, as a result God gave Him a vision and released a word of knowledge and wisdom through the gift of the Holy Spirit
(1 Cor 12:7-8), instantly He told Peter his disciple to go and catch a fish and thus revealed supernaturally that God can provide for tax payment from within a fish's mouth to be able to pay the needed money to pay the tax for both Peter and Himself. Peter the disciple obeyed his Master's command and exactly fulfilled it supernaturally (Matt 17:24-25, 27). Yes we cannot run a ministry without money as we are all in the world which runs by money system, but Jesus trusted God to provide moment by moment, that is why He taught His disciples to pray, "Give us this day our daily bread...". Give us this day our daily bread is for material needs and food as the Bible clearly reveals, but it is also for the Spiritual needs once material needs are met with (See Matt 6:10;11). Jesus could not be differentiated from any other normal day to day guy, that is why Judas was needed to point out Jesus' among His disciples when He was betrayed (Matt 26:14-16, 47-56). Jesus Himself told that the Son of man has nowhere to place His head to rest (Luke 9:58) and this reveals to us of how much Jesus lived a purposeful life of simplicity and did not think of buying any property in this earth for Himself. Where God guides He provides, that should be our spiritual experience too, just like Jesus experienced God's provision from heaven.

God has promised to provide all our needs
(Php 4:19-20), but not once He has told us that He will satisfy our greed as it will destroy our spiritual lives completely (1 Tim 6:9-10). Jesus did not pay Judas to keep him as a professional treasurer, instead he was called to work for God sacrificially and faithfully without any payment for the work done. So this particular truth cannot be speculated and exaggerated to become a lie to those who want to twist the truth to justify their own greed (2 Tim 2:14-18; Php 3:18-19; 2 Peter 3:15-17). When someone is not ready to take the healthy Holy Spirit led contextual interpretation of Scripture (2 Tim 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21), he or she is already deceived by the enemy into hearing and accepting only those teaching that satisfy their own desire, such coveteous hearted men and women will not put up with sound doctrine, instead will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear (2 Tim 4:3). Jesus spoke about money more than all subjects in His gospel except the Kingdom of God, 11 of 39 parables talk about money, 1 of every 7 verses in the Gospel of Luke talk about money directly or indirectly. Jesus talked about money more than He did Heaven and Hell combined and even emphasized that no man can serve both God and money, either he will love God and hate money or will love money and will therefore hate God (Matt 6:24). Then with a parable Jesus explained how with faithfulness we should spend the money God has given to us on earth to win souls and friendship of people for eternity. Jesus also told that if we are faithful in the least which is the money which God provides, God will give us the great spiritual blessings which belong to us as He has prepared it for us already, which according to God are considered by Him as the highest blessings to get in this world and also for the world to come (Luke 16:1-14). Though many deceptive prosperity Gospel preachers will say that Jesus spoke more about money than anything specifically, yet they will try to use that statement to justify themselves for having amassed wealth which they will try to project as a sign of God's blessing which is a blatant Satanic lie. Jesus never encouraged people to amass wealth on earth, instead He always gave advice to be content with what God has given them and exhorted them saying, " 19 “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; 20 but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." (Matt 6:19-21). When a religious and pious young rich man wanted to inherit the eternal life of God and at the same time also wanted more and more money which he enjoyed having, Jesus challenged him saying, "22 ..., “You still lack one thing. Sell all that you have and distribute to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.” 23 But when he heard this, he became very sorrowful, for he was very rich." (Luke 18:22-23). It is not God or Satan to serve, it is God or Money as this can be the only available master to influence people and take them away from God completely as long as we are in this world which is governed by the value of the money system. God doesn't want us to save, invest and multiply what we have like the world does (Luke 17:28), instead He wants us to spend what we have for the extension of the kingdom of God and wants us to depend on Him for all our needs to be supplied by Him at the right time. This is the true, 'GOSPEL- GOOD NEWS- THE WORD.' So never love money, instead love God and rejoice in the truth that Jesus has clearly taught for us to live a purposeful life on earth.

Much Blessings....
