What Does My Dream Mean?
Question: I have the same situation. My dream starts when I am sitting in the passenger seat of a car. The man in the dream is someone I use to talk to romantically. Well he had a suit on, and got in the back seat and changed clothes to casual wear. We talked about something, not sure what. Then he got in the front seat on the driver's side. We talked, about what I don't know. Then he cranked up the car and we drove off together. I have been praying about this, but not sure if the Lord is saying he's coming back and starting over again. Any feedback from you would be appreciated. Not sure if this is a dream from the Lord saying this man is coming back and I should wait for him.
I need help with a dream that I had. Not really sure if it was from the Lord.
Answer: Greetings in Jesus wonderful name! Usually God gives dreams to warn, guide, to inform about a development, or even tell us a truth which has been hidden by someone.
In this dream I can tell you, God is telling you that the man whom you think as someone real is actually with a formal clothes, and when he starts to change in to casual mode and try to drive your life, only then you realise that this man is not what you think he is, but rather a lot of what you cannot understand or that which you can accept to be right.
So it is a dream of warning from God that you should be careful with this particular person.
God has promised his children, "‘And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, that I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your young men shall see visions, your old men shall dream dreams." (Acts 2:17). It is indeed the privilege of every child of God in the New Testament to hear from God through prophecies, prophetic dreams and visions. So we know that prophetic dreams are a vehicle of heaven through which God speaks and reaches out to His children.
May God guide you in to the destiny He has for your life. I would like you to submit to God regarding your life partner, and He has promised to guide you in this matter which concerns you (Psalm 32:8-10). Never run before God, or be so lazy to respond to Him so late that you stay behind His timeline and will for your life. But rather read the Bible daily to assimilate it the rest of the day and pray personally to Him at a particular time in the morning and evening daily to give all your burdens to Him. Sure then you will take His hand and walk with Him in His exact will for your life to fulfill His destiny and purpose for you and your family.
