Faith Marvels God (Luke 7:1-10) 1) His word reveals His willingness. The word is not only the will of God, but the willingness of God. Great faith is to understand that God is always willing.
2) The word and His presence is the same.
3) The word and the person of God is the same. The word and Jesus is the same. When you receive the word, you are holding on to God.
4) The centurion said “Lord I am under authority.”
- The word will move things and move people because it is a word of authority that cannot be contested or challenged.
- If you are under authority, you receive authority.
5) Whatever you disrespect you don’t get it.
6) The word has power to come to total fulfillment, in your life (Luke 7:10).
- When God arises, His enemies will flee [be scattered] (Psalm 68:1, 21).
- By your word you will be justified and by your words you will be condemned (Matt 12:37).
