Is The Parable Of The Lost Sheep Speaking About Little Children?

Spiritually Little Children Will Sin And Many Times Be Lost From The Fellowship Of The Heavenly Father, Jesus Restores Such A One So That Not Even One Believer Who Is Saved Will Ever Be Lost. Am I Right?

Question: Is the parable of the Lost Sheep speaking about little children? Spiritually little children will sin and many times be lost from the fellowship of the Heavenly Father, Jesus restores such a one so that not even one believer who is saved will ever be lost. Am I right?

Answer: Greetings to you in Jesus wonderful name!

Here we go with the parable....

Matt 18:10-14 - "10 “Take heed that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that in heaven their angels always see the face of My Father who is in heaven. 11 For the Son of Man has come to save that which was lost. 12 “What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine and go to the mountains to seek the one that is straying? 13 And if he should find it, assuredly, I say to you, he rejoices more over that sheep than over the ninety-nine that did not go astray. 14 Even so it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish."

First of all 'I am holier than thou' attitude of spiritual pride and looking down upon a spiritual child which can be termed as 'You are a unworthy sinner and I am not as bad as you' attitude of exclusive hyper-holiness within the Church has spread like a plague and corona virus in these last days Church (Isa 65:5; Luke 18:11-12). Think about it saints, 'Lucifer' which means the "shining one, light-bearer" who became Satan the devil, when his heart was lifted up in pride and therefore God threw him down to the earth to become ashes of his former (Isa 14:13-15; 28:14-15, 16-17, 18). Devil became the adversary of humans, he tempts humans to sin, he then accuses the sinners before God, and he carries out God's punishment which is the only thing he excels to create fear in the heart of humans and control their lives through it.

There are a lot of so called spiritual people and hypocrites within even the Church, who become a stumbling block to the little children, Jesus pronounces woe to the man who causes the offences to the little children and warns them to take seriously these hidden offences of sin, and remove the root of pride from their heart which were done through their hand, foot or eye so that they will be able to avoid hell fire. In other words, Jesus wants the proud to humble themselves before the Lord so that they can be saved from dead works which becomes a stumbling block to little spiritual children around them.

So pride is stench in God's nostrils, pride is the first sin committed by Satan which then began to spread universally, and rebellion against God was the outcome. Spiritual pride for a believer is the worst kind of sin. In the Churches only external sin are mostly taken as the most dangerous thing against spirituality, and therefore most of the times it is judged by the elders. But when a elder of the Church gets filled with pride, no one takes notice of it except God who brings a fall to the proud people whether they be elder or the least and the weakest child of God (Prov 16:18). Jesus prophesied that in these end of end times, a lukewarm spirituality due to malnutrition of the false doctrine of wealth and health, which will make people become filled with pride because of equating riches with God's blessings and favor and spirituality, which makes them think wrongly that they already are not in any need of spiritual growth or the required repentance and overcoming by faith that God commands. Their heart will be instead set steadfast on the regular needs of the physical health, financial health or wealth multiplication which they already have which is the idol which replaces God in their lives (Rev 3:15-17). Woe! Woe! Woe to the spiritual pride! May we repent of it, and instead live for the Glory of God.

When spiritually little ones sins, we should not despise them because their Heavenly Father has set angelic help to lift them of discouragement to come out of their sin or weakness (1 Kings 19:5-8; Gen 21:17; 2 Cor 2:5-7; Gal 6:1). Jesus has come to save those sinning children of God who humble themselves to God and desire to live an overcoming life of faith through repentance (1 John 1:7, 9; 2:1). I believe just as Jesus said, if we judge others, we will be judged with the same scale we have judged others. If we show mercy towards others, we will be shown mercy on the same scale by God (Matt 7:1-2; 5:7; Luke 6:37-38). If we point one finger towards a spiritually immature sinning Brother, three other fingers points towards us to show our own sinfulness, and then the middle finger points towards God in heaven which tells us to repent of our wrong attitude within us towards other sinning Brother which is equal to the same done towards Him (Matt 5:23-24).

When there is a group of God's children in the Church, the mature and the immature, usually it is the little ones that strays to sin easily and get stumbled because of seeing other mature ones sin or the world that lures them, which becomes a stumbling block and a detriment to their spiritual life. When a most unworthy sinner gets saved to become a sheep among the hundred, and they get caught in devil's thorn bushes of sin to be stumbled in to the trap set by the devil, Jesus goes in to the wilderness in search of that one little spiritual child and finds him to bring him back in to fellowship with the Heavenly Father who loves him immensely, and our Heavenly Father have instructed Jesus not to lose even one of those precious little ones. Hallelujah! What a wonderful God we have, who is concerned for the little weak children of His and shows more grace and mercy to them even as they cry out to Him in their despair of sin. Praise the Lord!

When a sinner finds Jesus after he has strayed in to sin, that is the moment that reminds us that Jesus has been after the sinner the whole time climbing the wilderness of Calvary once and for all time to bring him back in to fellowship with Himself and His Heavenly Father (Heb 7:27).

Jesus always rejoices over one sinner who repents and come to him for help as his sheep than the ninety nine who finds no need for it (Luke 15:7). If someone gets saved by believing in Jesus, it is the will of the Father in Heaven that not even one sinner who repents should ever be lost (John 6:39-40). In other words, once saved always saved is not a theory, but rather it is a command from the Father to Jesus who loses not even one sinner who has come to him in repentance (Matt 18:14; John 10:26, 27-30).

What a wonderful Jesus we have, who because of the Father's Love towards us, have saved us from sin and its curses once and for all time for eternity ahead! What does this above parable has taught us? First stay away from pride of false spirituality and its luring message of the Gospel of health and wealth which can deceive us in to deep spiritual slumber and keep us useless for God and his purposes with our dead spiritual works which is worth nothing for eternity.

When you have come to Jesus and become His sheep through your belief, you might be weakest of all saints, but when you start to pray and repent to Jesus of your sins, you become the strongest saint against all the work of the evil of Satan and his kingdom of darkness.

Once saved always saved is not a theory to debate, but rather the faithfulness of Jesus is at stake when we say other wise in unbelief to exaggerate the works of faith we do. Jesus Himself has promised that not even the least of the little child of God, (i.e.) the sinning weakling He will ever lose. Jesus is never surprised by our sins and weaknesses, rather he wants them to repent of their sins and overcome by faith to move forward and be rewarded eternally from Him (Rev 22:12). If ever you sin, run to Jesus, for He is your justifier who is the just God who has shed his sinless blood to save you from sin (Rom 3:26).

Jesus rejoices in your repentant life and calls you overcomer by faith when you run to Him, infact He has promised to reward you out of this world if you would continue in it. Therefore it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish, so make sure you stay out of spiritual pride to judge, but instead show mercy to the sinning sheep that strays from the path of holiness. When you restore the weak sinning Brother or Sister, be aware and careful that if not for the grace and mercy of God, you would also be in their boot. So learn to continue to hate sin but love the sinner who repents!

Always humble yourself before the mighty hand of the Lord and He will lift you up in the right time. Never become spiritually prideful because of how God uses you, the moment you think you have attained, that is the moment you will fall down to be humiliated before everyone. So embrace the chastisement of the Lord and He will treat you as His respectable sons and not children anymore. Hallelujah!

Praise the Lord! Glory to God!

Much Blessings....
