RE: Jesus Blood Is So Valuable, It Can't Be Thrown Away

I Don't Think You Can Live A Bad Life And Keep Your Salvation

Question: I read the info [(i.e.) Article: In Rev 3:5 Jesus Saying "He Who Overcomes...I Will Not Blot Out His Name From The Book Of Life", Does It Mean That If We Do Not Overcome, Our Names Will Be Removed From It?] you sent me. I don't think you can live a bad life and keep your salvation. But another point from a former supervisor, 'Jesus blood is so valuable it can't be thrown away.' What is your take on it?

Answer: Greetings to you in Jesus wonderful name!

I believe that a bad life is the fruit of the flesh that cannot justify or condemn the free gift of salvation (Rom 8:38-39; Eph 2:8; Tit 3:5-6). Those who are saved cannot continue to live a bad life because the seed of God [(i.e.) the Holy Spirit] remains in them (1 John 3:9; 2:27; John 16:7-11, 12-15). No saved person will choose to easily trample the blood of Jesus underfoot, but if he does, he will not become unsaved but rather become a spiritual zombie without repentance unto life which will only make him or her live in the fear of Judgment of God like for a unbeliever and also it will make them miss the great eternal reward of their inheritance that God has for them (Heb 10:26-31). If salvation cannot be gained through our work, neither it can be lost through our lack of good work or for that matter evil work or dead works, but the whole point of God in saving us is for us to maintain good works for His Glory when done in faith which can only please God (Tit 3:8; Heb 11:6).

God is never taken by surprise by our sins, he knows that from our mother's womb we were born in sin, but inspite of it all He chose to save us from it all so that willingly we can choose to live for His glory (Psa 51:5), and remember we were enemies of God through sinful nature when were saved through His love for us (Rom 5:8). His love for us saved us, His love for us will keep us saved (Gal 3:1-5; Php 1:6).

The very reason God saved us through the gift of salvation given freely to us is to keep us humble before Him so that we might not boast about our salvation (Eph 2:8-9), as we all with a sinful nature inside us have a tendency to boast about anything we achieve with pride which is the greatest sin and the first one that brought the downfall of Satan (Job 33:14-18, 19-22, 23-26; Isa 14:13-15; Eze 28:15, 17).

The one thing God wants from us is to, "DO JUSTLY, LOVE MERCY AND WALK HUMBLY WITH YOUR GOD" who has saved you eternally (Mic 6:8). Hallelujah!

Much Blessings...
