My Dearest Child
God’s Foreknowledge and Our Ignorance
“You may not know me, but I know everything about you.” (Psalm 139:1).
God the Father who is in heaven knows everything about us even before we ever realize Him in our life. Because we are the tender creation of His love, we have been created In His image. Think about it, God created the whole earth and everything that is in it, which includes all the animals, birds and all the sea creatures. Why should He create only mankind in the image of God Himself (Gen 1:26-27). This shows that God loved us so much that he chose to create us in His own image so that we as His children can grow physically and mentally in to maturity and understand God as our Father in Heaven who constantly cares for all our spiritual and physical needs (Matt 6:9; 5:44-45).
We receive His care daily but fail to acknowledge His goodness because we have a sinful nature that makes us run away from the love of our Heavenly Father, but wants to settle for a world system of governance ruled by Satan and his demonic cohorts who like to tickle us to act individually and unthankfully apart from God the Father (1 John 2:15-17). What should we do to align ourselves always in the love of the Father God? Always reject the allurement of the lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes and the pride of life and choose to be thankful to God the Father from your heart by thinking according to His will which is His written word in the Bible. Right thinking transforms your mind to recognize Him and give Him his rightful place in your life (Rom 12:2).
God’s interest in our day to day chores
“I know when you sit down and when you rise up.” (Psalm 139:2).
What we consider as boredom in our everyday life like sitting down and rising up to do a particular job interests God much. Only a father can truly rejoice and be happy when his baby takes its first step to walk instead of just crawling. In the same way only the heavenly daddy who has created us can be patient enough to rejoice in seeing us sit and rise up. In other words, He loves to see our every motion that we make on earth and rejoices to see a mini image of Himself reflected in us.
Prayer : "My Heavenly Father, thank you for knowing about me more than I know about myself. Thank you for imprinting your image upon me inorder for me to love you more and more. Sorry for not having the attitude of gratitude towards you Father for all your goodness shown towards me daily. My heart runs away from you and your love often by going away from your Word based thinking. Help me to think exactly like you and love your Word in the Bible which has been written to me personally from you. Thank you for your concern towards me by being involved even in the mundane daily chores I do. Love you in Jesus Name. Amen!!! Your loving child living on earth as it is in heaven (Matt 6:10)...."
