Are The Evil People The Wicked Tenants On Earth?

Who Are The Vine-dressers? Do We Only Have A Leased Lifetime On Earth?

Question: Is the human life on earth a leased one given by God for a short time, in order to reward and pay them back for a eternal one in exchange for their faithfulness? Jesus' parable in all the Gospels [(i.e.) Matt 21:33-46] have expressed such a thought to make people realize the temporary nature of this life on earth, and the eternal nature of reward that God wants to bestow upon humans in the life to come? God does seem to say that, every thing done faithfully on earth, though it may be small or big, will be judged and rewarded for all the believers eternally. What are your thoughts about it? Thanks in advance.

Answer: Greetings in Jesus wonderful name!

Matthew 21:33-46 - "33 “Hear another parable: There was a certain landowner who planted a vineyard and set a hedge around it, dug a winepress in it and built a tower. And he leased it to vinedressers and went into a far country. 34 Now when vintage-time drew near, he sent his servants to the vinedressers, that they might receive its fruit. 35 And the vinedressers took his servants, beat one, killed one, and stoned another. 36 Again he sent other servants, more than the first, and they did likewise to them. 37 Then last of all he sent his son to them, saying, ‘They will respect my son.’ 38 But when the vinedressers saw the son, they said among themselves, ‘This is the heir. Come, let us kill him and seize his inheritance.’ 39 So they took him and cast him out of the vineyard and killed him. 40 “Therefore, when the owner of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those vinedressers?” 41 They said to Him, “He will destroy those wicked men miserably, and lease his vineyard to other vinedressers who will render to him the fruits in their seasons.” 42 Jesus said to them, “Have you never read in the Scriptures: ‘The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone. This was the LORD’s doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes’? 43 “Therefore I say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a nation bearing the fruits of it. 44 And whoever falls on this stone will be broken; but on whomever it falls, it will grind him to powder.” 45 Now when the chief priests and Pharisees heard His parables, they perceived that He was speaking of them. 46 But when they sought to lay hands on Him, they feared the multitudes, because they took Him for a prophet."

We also see the same in Mark 12:1-11 and Luke 20:9-18, the context has nearly been the same and the spiritual truths in these Gospels that come out of this parable is nearly the same too.

Let us get in to it, parables are earthly stories told by Jesus to reveal the heavenly realities and truth that comes to bless our souls and build it better and best spiritually and eternally. Many stories are simple day to day happenings of civil, legal and nature around us.

Thus the following parable is a parable of civil and legal nature. Here we see a certain landowner who planted a vineyard and set a hedge around it. "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth" (Gen 1:1), which reveals to us that God is the owner of the land upon which humans are living today all over the world. Though we own our little piece of property that we have worked hard in our lives to get or the piece of land that has come to us as a inheritance from our fathers and forefathers, the ultimate owner over the nations and the governments we belong in our lands we live is God who has established it all for His Glory. God set angels as watchers over the earth and its habitations (Dan 4:17, 23; Eze 28:14). God's hedge that comes upon humans who work righteousness in the fear of God, to them the good angels are always at work in all the earth and all the time (Matt 18:10; Job 1:10; Rev 22:8-9; Acts 10:1-2, 35). God set judgment and justice over the earth through angels and also humans who have been appointed for it (1 Cor 5:5; Acts 12:21-24; Rom 13:1-7).

God setting up "a hedge" is the angelic spiritual protection of good angels He gives us and have already given us humans who fear Him (Psa 91:11). God dug "a winepress" means He has set up human agents of leadership to judge the people on earth or reward them, as well as setting up angels who will bring the wrath of God on the people for their sins and wicked ways (1 Tim 2:1-2; Rom 13:1-7; Rev 14:19).

The heaven was designed as a place of temporary dwelling for the guardian angels (Acts 12:15; Matt 18:10), who watched over the vineyard of God's earth while the fruit was ripening, to keep off thieves and wild beasts (Col 2:18; John 10:8; Mark 1:12, 13). The angels were appointed by God as a guard for humans to keep them under the law or direct them through the law until faith would come to take hold of their heart to shine the light of the revelation of Jesus (Gal 3:19-23, 24-25; Acts 7:53; Heb 2:5; 2 Peter 1:19; 2:4). The heaven was prepared for the angels to reside and serve humans, of which one third of angels rebelled and fell from the glory of the first heaven but they retained their power and position which God had planned initially through taking Adam's authority over the earth (Eph 6:12; Rev 12:4). When humans started to revel in sin, they rebelled against God and wanted to build a tower to build themselves a city, a tower whose top is in the heavens, which means, under the direct influence of angels who sought worship for themselves in the Kingdom of darkness under Satan's leadership, and below him were beastly angelic leaders working for their own glory. But in fact, humans were deceived by these evil angelic beasts and wicked demonic angels to think that they were making a name for themselves but were in rebellion against God (Gen 11:4). In fact, the angelic beasts were making a name for themselves in the world system being built by them for their charismatic leader Satan, whose only aim is to receive worship from humans that only belong to God (Matt 4:8-9; Mark 1:12-13; Luke 4:5-7).

To then build a spiritual tower in it is to set up angels as watchers over humans, to help the humans see dangers ahead or learn from the past to avoid dangers in the future or keep them in the right way of the Lord (Deut 13:7, 13; 18:14; Ezek 28:3). Watchtowers, or fortified posts, were frequent on frontiers and exposed places (Gen. 35:21; 2 Chron. 26:10); around vineyards (Isa. 21:5,8,11; Matt. 21:33). God set up light towers of truth (1 Tim 3:15), but devil and his minions set up tower of Babylonic lies to make people rebel against God, and thus remain in spiritual darkness and ignorance of his kingdom they have established (Deut 13:1-3, 7; 18:14).

When did God really "leased [this earth] to vinedressers and went into a far country"? After the creation of all things, God planted a garden and placed Adam within it to tend and to keep it and also keep his command in obedience (Gen 1:28-31), and then created Eve within it as a helper and a companion to her husband (Gen 2:20-25). When God brought Eve to Adam and set them as family unit on earth in the Garden of Eden, they were the first vinedressers God had appointed, and then made himself invisible to their eyes or hid himself as though He had gone in to a far country (Isa 45:15). Yet God made himself available to their spirit through His Presence (Gen 3:8-10). Once humans by disobedience fell in to sin when they were tested (Gen 3:1), God became very distant to them as their spirit became dead just as God had told them previously for the consequence of their disobedience and sin (Psa 11:4-5; Eccl 3:18; Jam 1:3; Gen 2:17; 3:17). Humans are on leased time of God, so this life in itself is a temporary thing that God has granted each one of us, so that we could turn to God and be in relationship with Him to prepare for the eternal life to come (John 3:16).

When The Harvest Time Has Come!

Harvest time is a time of rejoicing for all those who have sowed their seed in hard work and great labor
(Psa 126:5-6). Like wise when Jesus expressed, "Now when vintage-time drew near, he sent his servants to the vinedressers, that they might receive its fruit," the time of harvest for God is when the humans get transformed by obeying God and live in the fear of God as servants of Him, bearing fruits for eternal life (John 15:4, 16; Rom 6:22; Gal 5:22-23).

As humans are made in the image of God in the beginning, it was a clear revelation of God's intention that humans should learn to live just like Him in their conduct and character (Gen 1:26; 1 Peter 1:15-16; 2 Peter 1:3-4). Thus for each human and each generation of people, God expects them to line up to the character and conduct of the image of Him who has created us for His Glory (Psa 39:4; 1 Pet 1:17). The harvest is actually at the end of the age, where God will judge the world and its inhabitants to set up His everlasting Kingdom for a thousand years time on earth (Matt 13:36-43). At the same time, God has appointed for unsaved human's once to die and after that eternal judgment, (i.e.) to send them to hell fire at the end of the earth which is the harvest time for their sins or reward them in heaven for their good works if they are saved (Rom 6:23; Rev 20:11-15; Heb 9:27; 1 Cor 4:3-5).

The holy angels are God's servants who will be sent in to all the world at the end of the age, to separate those with fruit which are saved souls to be harvested, to be put in to God's barn and those unsaved souls of tares which the enemy has sowed when men slept in darkness of the world system of governance will also be separated to be burnt in hell fire. And the Church saints will be sent at the end of the earth to do the same and judge the world and the evil angels who did the bidding for Satan (Dan 7:27; 1 Cor 6:2-3; Rev 20:7-10, 11-15).

God claims back all those with his genes of His Word and Spirit within them as His own. These are His children who have repented of their sins and have come to trust in the heavenly power of God to live a overcoming life over sin, sickness and Satan as long as they live in this fallen world.

God has sowed his children in the world to produce the fruit of His character and conduct to make a difference for His Glory. When bad things happen to good people through bad people or situation, they must keep practicing the royal commandment of His, which is love until the season of harvest comes, then the children of God will be greatly rewarded for their faith in due time. Every one of us who live on this earth, have to give account to the Lord in the time of His judgment to be rewarded eternally for our works or suffer for one's evil works if any one remain unsaved. The saved will rise up in the resurrection of the life for the just for doing good, the unsaved will rise up in the resurrection of the condemnation of the unjust because of doing evil (John 5:28-29).

What Happened To God's Prophets And Last Of All For His Only Begotten Son?

"35 And the vinedressers took his servants, beat one, killed one, and stoned another. 36 Again he sent other servants, more than the first, and they did likewise to them. 37 Then last of all he sent his son to them, saying, ‘They will respect my son.’ 38 But when the vinedressers saw the son, they said among themselves, ‘This is the heir. Come, let us kill him and seize his inheritance.’ 39 So they took him and cast him out of the vineyard and killed him."

The moment any human forget that they are just servants of God, and not the owner of this earth which is God and God alone, a spiritual down-slide happens within their lives so fast to degenerate their character and conduct. Every one of us in this earth as long as we are alive and well, should remember to be faithful steward of God's resources present in this earth, which has been made available to us in various degrees through God's mercies and grace of God.

Every human need enlightenment from the Word of God to know that truly without God, we are homeless, helpless and hopeless in this world. Even the body in which we live in this earth, has been given to us as a gift of home to exist in this world. Every resource of wisdom, knowledge, material, air, sunshine and land that God has provided is his help for us to survive in this earth. God's word and His Spirit has been given to all humans on earth, in order to have hope of the eternal life that God has gifted for all humans through His only begotten Son Jesus the Christ. Jesus Christ came from heaven to be born in this earth through Virgin Mary before two thousand years, lived a sinless life and ministered to people for three and half years doing good to all, and then dying for their sins on the Cross, and rose up from the dead on the third day to live for ever by ascending to God's right hand of His throne.

As all humans are lost in the miry clay of sin, to enlighten them, to make them realize that they are sinners in need of the Savior Jesus, God sent many many prophets to awaken their sinful life to righteousness through the prophets of God again and again (Heb 1:1). Has God been silent and cold towards the humanity which He has created for His Glory? No, not at all, but humans were never inclined in their heart to hear the voice of God through the prophets He sent from the beginning of time (Jer 25:4; 29:19; 35:15; 2 Chron 36:15). Instead, again and again not able to hear the rebuke of God that came through them, they hardened their heart to beat them, stone them, mock them and even kill them all one by one who were moved by God because of His love and compassion for humanity (Matt 23:29-33, 34).

Last of all in the time appointed by God (Gal 4:4), God sent in these last days His only begotten Son of God Jesus Christ whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds (Heb 1:2). But this prince of life who is Jesus Christ (Acts 3:15), who has been sacrificially sent by God from heaven, was not valued by His very own people and all the humans till today (John 1:11), and He was killed by people who thought that by killing him physically, they could own the property of God of all the earth that belong to Jesus the Christ (John 11:50; 18:14).

In fact, not understanding the wisdom of God, Satan used humans and especially the religious ones to crucify him on the Cross and even today in our times is using many people to do the same to those who follow Jesus (1 Cor 2:6-8). But thank God, by raising Jesus the Christ from the dead on the third day, God has given assurance to humankind that by the ordained man Jesus Christ, God has appointed a day to judge the world in righteousness (Acts 17:31).

As many as of those among us who have received Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior (Acts 2:36), to us all who have believed in His name, God has given us the rights to become the children of God (John 1:12). Even the death of Jesus Christ, has been turned by God's providence to be a blessing to humanity instead of bringing a curse for the unrighteous act of fellow humans (Gal 3:13-14). Every thing bad that has happened to you, God is able to turn them to become good before  your life gets over and done because He is the God of the turnaround. What a good God He is!

Religion Fears People, But Only True Relationship With God Brings Fear Of God!

Hear the parable in context,
"40 “Therefore, when the owner of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those vinedressers?” 41 They said to Him, “He will destroy those wicked men miserably, and lease his vineyard to other vinedressers who will render to him the fruits in their seasons.” 42 Jesus said to them, “Have you never read in the Scriptures: ‘The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone. 46 But when they sought to lay hands on Him, they feared the multitudes, because they took Him for a prophet.""

While the blessing of fearing God is many many, the fear of humans only brings a snare of the evil one, and a curse upon those who are involved in it (Prov 29:25; Jer 17:5, 7).

God has appointed judgment for every man so that while living on earth he should take a decision to seek the Lord intensely and find Him before he would die (Acts 17:25-28), so that he could be able to receive eternal life that Jesus Christ gives through a repentant life (Acts 17:30-31).

All those who rebel in sin against God now, and dare to live an unrepentant life will be destroyed miserably by God in hell fire, and those righteous who believed God and His promises will be given the rulership over the new heaven and new earth which will be going around the New Jerusalem just like our present earth goes around the sun, therefore the living city of God and the saints in the new heaven and new earth will together rule this present earth and heaven from there. The Church will be raptured before the Great Tribulation starts on earth. Israel as a nation and those of the Tribulation saints who believe Jesus as the Christ, will all be martyred on earth. They will all rise up in their glorious body at the time of Jesus second coming to the earth in which He will rule the earth for a Millennium (Rev 20:4-6). Also all of the living saints in their physical body at that time of Jesus' Second Coming will be separated by Him to enter in to the Millennium rule of His, and the unsaved will be sent to hell fire directly where the Antichrist and the False Prophet has occupied as its first resident eternally just a little before time (Rev 19:20-21). Hallelujah! GLORY TO GOD!

Thus all those unsaved men who rejected Jesus and who had no place for him in their heart (Rev 3:20), will finally have to bow their knees before Jesus who will lease this earth to other worthy humans who do good because they are saved, to make them continue with his blessing for a Millennium of God's rule on earth under Jesus the corner stone (Php 2:10; Matt 25:34, 41, 46). Jesus Christ and his Church saints who work with him will be marvelous in the eyes of all humans on earth in the Millennium rule of God.

Every natural human who gets angry at hearing the parable of Jesus is acting sinfully against God to reject God's will for their lives. Every one who tries to reject the corner stone of Jesus, will get tripped by their own fleshly will to fall on the truth of Jesus to be pushed to make a decision to accept him or reject Him as their personal Lord and Savior, but those who resist God with all their strength to come against Jesus, the judgment of God's wrath will fall upon him and their group to grind them to be a powder, and to make them totally powerless in hell fire for eternity.

The bottom line is, if our spiritual life on earth does not line up to the nature of God and his holy conduct of the out-bearing fruit which people could see around, then just like it happened to the nation of Israel two thousand years ago, like wise it will happen to all who live in unbelief to reject Jesus Christ and his teaching to reach out and please God through Him. They will be totally destroyed in hell fire after the resurrection of the unjust to live eternally in the torments of hell fire. Glory to God!

It is better to fall at the feet of Jesus now in our day to day life, than to regret for expecting all to fall at our feet now according to our own whims and fancies, and burn eternally in the torment of hell fire for rejecting the salvation of Jesus, a real hell fire of condemnation for our sins, where the worm dies not and the fire quench not.

Yes indeed, absolutely you are right, the human life on earth is a leased one given by God for a short time, in order to reward and pay them back for a eternal one in exchange for their faithfulness. We should understand that the eternal is God's best for us, which He would like to exchange for the here and now lived for His Glory! You are very right, Jesus' parable in all the Gospels [(i.e.) Matt 21:33-46 & Mark 12:1-11 & Luke 20:9-18] have expressed such a thought to make people realize the temporary nature of this life on earth, and the eternal nature of reward that God wants to bestow upon humans in the life to come. Everything done faithfully on earth, though it may be small or big, will be judged and rewarded for all the believers eternally is the crux of the whole message. You have nailed it very well on the spiritual wall of learning and growing!

Much Blessings....
