Question: Greetings. You said, "the two prophets of the end time, Elijah and Enoch, will start to preach repentance right at the middle of Daniel seventieth week, the first Trumpet will sound through their prophetic words of wrath fulfilled in tandem through the action of the first angel in heaven. But the good news is, when the Great Tribulation starts to come, by that time the Church will be on the way to New Jerusalem. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord."
Why do you say it is Elijah and Enoch? Why do you say it is two men?
I can see why you say it is them. But scripture says the "two witnesses" are the two lamp stands (Revelations 11:4). And what is a lamp-stand? A lamp-stand is a church (Revelation 1:20). So, if scripture says it is two lamp stands, it means it is two churches, or we can say two groups of people. It is definitely not two individuals.
Answer: Greetings in Jesus wonderful name!
I say they are Elijah and Enoch, because they were the only ones in the whole Bible who went in to the Presence of God without experiencing death, to stand before the throne of God to get prepared for the end of end times work that God has for them in His plan and purpose for His Glory (Zec 4:12-14). Also the two prophets in repentance ministry at the end of end times, do their three and half years of ministry and then will die, and rise up to be caught again in to heavens after three and half days (Rev 11:1-14). Hallelujah!
Coming to your unreasonable reasoning of the Scripture, say it is two church or people group, or definitely not two individuals, how come they will be present before the Second Coming to be killed by the Antichrist and rise up alive to be caught up in to heaven after three and half days? So it is not a figure of speech to fit in a people group or even the Church within it, as the Church will be taken out of the Great Tribulation at the last moment after the mid-point of Daniel 70th week (Dan 9:27).
So the only possibility is Elijah and Enoch in repentance ministry. By the way of correction to what you have expressed previously, I am telling you that the Church is the "Seven golden lampstands" (Rev 2:1) and not two Olive trees, one the cultivated olive tree of God which is the nation of Israel for which Elijah will represent (Zec 4:11), the other will be the wild by nature grafted in olive tree of the left behind offspring of the Gentile Church for which Enoch will represent before God on earth (Rom 11:24-31; Rev 11:4; 12:17).
Thus the verse "two olive trees-at the right of the lamp stand and at its left" (Zec 4:11) is a figure of speech directed to mean that both of them were old testament prophets, and that, one of the prophet was someone before Israel came in to existence who is Enoch and the other was after Israel came in to existence which is Elijah, and the lamp stand itself mean the menorah lamp stand of the nation of Israel that was burning bright with the light of God before the Lord God of heaven in His Presence (Matt 23:15; John 5:33-35; 8:12). Hallelujah!
The menorah is a lamp stand with longstanding tradition in both the Bible and the history of Judaism. The word itself is a transliteration of a Hebrew word. It was first mentioned in Exodus 25:31-39. The original menorah was designed for use in the tabernacle in the wilderness before Israel entered the Promised Land. After the conquest of Canaan, it remained in the tabernacle (Joshua 18:1) and was later used in the temple Solomon built. According to the Mosaic Law, the menorah was lit every evening and cleaned every morning (Exodus 27:21). It burned fresh olive oil. Today, the menorah continues to be one of the best-known symbols of Judaism. It is a common fixture in local synagogues. But spiritually the lamp stand is the nation of Israel burning bright in the Old Testament before the darkness of the world to spread God's light through the Law of Moses which the Jews did to fulfill the plan of God literally in the Old Testament times (Matt 23:15; John 1:8; Lev 24:2-4).
Remember, the answer to why we have seven lamp stands in Revelation 1:20 - “… and the seven lamp stands are the seven churches”, but there is only one lamp stand in Exodus 25. It means the lamp stand in Exodus 25 represents the covenanted people Israel shining or dispensing the light of God in to all nations all alone. But in the New Testament, the proclamation of truth from churches is from all the seven different churches with seven different spiritual climatic conditions in its organic life which are present in all the nations of the world, which shines the light of God in to the whole wide world of darkness to dispel it. Hallelujah!
Much Blessings....
