By Abraham Israel
Cause => The reason or motive for an action.
For those who do not have a cause in this life will not be effective or be successful in reaching their destiny.
1) Our greatest example of a man who lived with the cause produced the greatest effect of all time [i.e. our salvation]. This is none other than our Lord Jesus Christ. The law of science says, ‘Every effect has a cause behind it.’
2) No one can be effective with out a cause. So only Jesus said, “…for this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come in to the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Every one who is of the truth hears My voice.” (John 18:37).
From the above verse we need to understand Jesus emphasized two causes, and every one of us also need to ask ourselves this question and find out from God,
3) The other great example of a man who shouted in faith even as a young man, “…Is there not a cause?” (1 Samuel 17:29) is none other than the beloved of God David. What made David the most effective king of all time in Israel was that, he knew in himself that he was born with a cause and have come with a cause.
What made David as a young man to go and kill the giant Goliath and make history?
(i) David heard about the giant and he did not fear when others allowed fear to intimidate themselves (1 Sam 17:23-25). David did not flee and was not afraid of Goliath, so only the people who saw him like that asked him, “Have you not seen this man who has come up?...”(v25).
