Speak the Word! Healing will Follow!

Speak the Word of God! Healing will Follow!

By Abraham Israel

“So it was, as the multitude pressed about Him to hear the word of God, that He stood by the Lake of Gennesaret….” (Luke 5:1).

1) When we speak the pure word of God, multitudes will press in to the place where we are present to hear it. Why? Because the word of God carries the power of God and will meet every ones need.

15 However, the report went around concerning Him all the more; and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by Him of their infirmities. 16 So He Himself often withdrew into the wilderness and prayed (Luke 5:15-16).

2) When we speak the word of God and demonstrate it by the power of God, then the report will go around in all the region concerning us like wild fire and people will come in great multitudes to hear and see the result of it manifested in their life.

3) Always people will come not only to hear the word of God, but also to see healing happen and get healed from their infirmities and sicknesses. We need to expect healing to accompany with the proclamation of the word of God
(Mark 16:20)
.

4) When healings and miracles happen by the power of God, multitudes will come to hear the message and to receive healing and be healed. The message of the gospel is in itself is a healing message to the body, soul and the spirit of every human being.

5) The more the need of people, the more we need to withdraw ourselves alone to pray to God for the power of the Lord to be present to heal people and need to depend on Him to supply all their needs. When the power of the Lord is present, He will work through us to heal them
(John 5:17, 19-20; Luke 4:40-41, 39; 5:17; 6:19-20)
.

6) The amount and time of prayer that we pray shows that we depend on God who makes things happen for us. The amount and the time of our prayer is directly proportional to the dependence we have on God. In other words the more we depend on God, the more we will pray to Him. The more we pray to Him, greater will be the result and the power of God manifested.

Jesus Casts Out an Unclean Spirit

(Mark 1:21-28)

31 Then He went down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee, and was teaching them on the Sabbaths. 32 And they were astonished at His teaching, for His word was with authority. 33 Now in the synagogue there was a man who had a spirit of an unclean demon. And he cried out with a loud voice, 34 saying, "Let us alone! What have we to do with You, Jesus of Nazareth? Did You come to destroy us? I know who You are--the Holy One of God!"
35 But Jesus rebuked him, saying, "Be quiet, and come out of him!" And when the demon had thrown him in their midst, it came out of him and did not hurt him. 36 Then they were all amazed and spoke among themselves, saying, "What a word this is! For with authority and power He commands the unclean spirits, and they come out." 37 And the report about Him went out into every place in the surrounding region (Luke 4:31-37).

1) When we teach the word of God with much prayer, our word will be with authority from heaven.

2) In such an atmosphere where the authority of God is in absolute control over the place, all the unclean demons which is illegally occupying that place in rebellion will cry out of fear that it will be dislodged from its place.

3) All the sons of God will be recognized by the demons along with the Son of God because their very purpose of existence is to destroy the works of the evil one. They are those who exercise the authority of God by their dependence on Him
(Acts 19:15; 1 John 3:8, 9; Acts 10:38; James 2:19).

4) When people see the demonstration of the power of the word of God, the report will go in to every place of that region with out any advertisement on our part.

5) The unclean spirits should be commanded with a word
[rhema word] of authority and power, and then they will come out immediately. To do this we need to grow in the knowledge of God, who is the Greater one (1 John 4:4)
.

6) When the word of God is taught with authority and power, if the demons manifest’s itself to distract the people out of fear of being dislodged and losing its territory, immediately with the same power and authority it should be rebuked to be quiet and come out of that tormented person.

7) Teaching the people with the word of God will destroy unbelief and will impart faith in to them
(Rom 10:17; Heb 4:2). In that teaching atmosphere of faith, healing and deliverance will naturally happen when we have prepared ourselves with much prayer (John 8:32).
