Will Animals and Birds Be Able to Love Each Other and Submit to Human Lovingly Without Fear Anywhere in the Near Future?
Question : Will animals and birds be able to love each other and submit to human lovingly without fear anywhere in the near future? If it is so, when will it happen according to the Bible?
Answer : We see in the Bible that the animals lost the knowledge of God to love one another due to man's rebellion against God (Rom 5:12). Because of sin entering the earth, God subjected all the animals under the curse of sin. God subjected all the creation in hope that the sons of God will one day very soon arise in their glorious bodies, and then a little later they will return back to earth with Jesus Christ at His second coming and will redeem the creation completely from the curse and effect of sin (Rom 8:20-21; Rev 19:7-8, 14; 20:4-6).
God has said in His word that He has the ability to overcome and bring under control all thing on earth to Himself through the glorious supernatural bodies of the believers in which He will work through and use them for His service in the Millennium and for eternity ahead, for which all believers wait looking forward for the rapture day of all the saints of whose citizenship are in heaven (Php 3:20-21).
We know that all the humans and animals alike were vegetarians until the flood came. How do we know this? Noah did not persuade any animals or birds to enter the ark. And that too it is impossible for Noah to bring naturally all birds and animals two by two in exact pair, that is as male and female for future replenishing in all the earth through reproduction. But all animals and birds of both clean and unclean type entered the ark supernaturally when God commanded them to enter in. We know that at this time all the animals and birds were vegetarians and that Noah would have stocked vegetables and fruits abundantly inside the ark for all to eat, if it were carnivrous at that time, each animals and birds would have started to eat some of the species inside the ark itself and that the future of those species would have got completely extinct within the ark of Noah itself. But God did not allow it to happen that way. All the fruits and vegetables would have been preserved inside the ark because of the cold weather that would have prevailed inside it.
Just before the judgment of universal flood started, God the Spirit tried his best to atleast convince the godly line of Seth to live godly lives as they were seperated to live for God (Gen 6:3; 4:25-5:32). The "sons of God" who lived by faith did inter marriage with the "daugthers of [soulish] men" of the ungodly line of Cain, just as they chose they married them outside of God's will for their lives because they saw that they were beautiful (Gen 6:1; 4:16-24). In other words, even for the godly people of faith the flesh started to rule over their spirit and the conviction of God's voice within. This made the whole humanity to get polluted with unrighteous living and God waited 120 years for them to repent, but then as "every intent of the thoughts of [human] heart was only continually evil" (Gen 6:5), finally God was so grieved for making humans and moved on with his judgment for the sins of humans who have made the whole earth to become a living hell (Gen 6:6-7). Thus God judged the whole world by destroying it with a universal flood that destroyed all the humans, animals and birds except that which were preserved by God in the ark of Noah (Gen 7:19, 21;1 Peter 3:20; 2 Peter 3:5-6).
The first living thing that became carnivorous eating all the flesh of dead animals and birds is the raven that Noah sent to check out whether the flood has dried or not (Gen 8:8). Then God allowed man to become non-vegetarian because man's lost his godliness and child-like innocence because of prevailing sinful condition in the heart of all men (Gen 4:7; Jer 17:9). As sin has entered in to the earth to make it become a living hell because of man's sinful inclination (Rom 5:12; 3:23; Isa 64:6; Gen 4:7), God wanted it to be completely destroyed somewhere in the future with fire and wanted to dissolve it in to gas to be no more present at all because of the curse of sin upon it (2 Peter 3:10-13; Gen 3:17-19). Then God wanted to create a sin free new creation for all who will believe him and so in that new creation God wanted his original will of vegetarianism to be implemented (Isa 65:17-19; Rev 21:1-8). So with much concern for all his creation, He finally allowed many living things to become non-vegetarian including humans. But then something happened between man and animals when God gave permission for man to eat animals, the animals became fearful of man and also many animals like tiger, lion and many other animals started to eat other animals and thus became carnivorous and wild in its nature without love for other animals or humans.
Here is what the Bible says of what took place when man became non-vegetarians and how animals became carnivorous, "1 So God blessed Noah and his sons, and said to them: “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth. 2 And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be on every beast of the earth, on every bird of the air, on all that move on the earth, and on all the fish of the sea. They are given into your hand. 3 Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you. I have given you all things, even as the green herbs. 4 But you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood. 5 Surely for your lifeblood I will demand a reckoning; from the hand of every beast I will require it, and from the hand of man. From the hand of every man’s brother I will require the life of man. 6 “ Whoever sheds man’s blood, by man his blood shall be shed; For in the image of God He made man. 7 And as for you, be fruitful and multiply; Bring forth abundantly in the earth and multiply in it.”" (Gen 9:1-7). God allowed man to become non-vegetarians and also the animals to become carnivorous not willingly, but in hope that one day the sons of God would return to their original calling gloriously in the new creation and redeem the creation through the power of God acting through them supernaturally under the leadership of Jesus the King of kings (Php 3:20-21; Rom 8:18-22; Rev 19:16). These "times of restoration of all things" (Acts 3:21) will happen through the sons of God for a thousand years and then forever the sons of God will be placed in the liberty of God's new heaven and earth where they will rule forever as God's kinglypriests for all eternity (Rev 19:7-8, 14; 21:1-8, 24, 26-27; 5:10; 1 Peter 2:9-10).
There is a time coming when God has promised that all the animals and birds will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of God (Hab 2:14), as a result of it is, it is told that no animals or birds will anymore harm human being or one another (Isa 11:6-9). The lion which is a flesh eating animal by nature will become a vegetarian and will start to eat straw like the ox. The venomous Viper and cobra which are one of the most venomous snakes in the world will no more have any venom in it, so that a nursing child shall play by the Cobra's hole and a weaned child shall put its hand in the viper's den. The wolf which eats the lamb deceitfully will dwell together in love and friendship. The leopard which eats the young goat in an instant shall lie down together. The calf and the young lion and all other young animals will lie together in love towards each other. A little child who is innocent in its approach towards animals by not knowing which is wild or domestic will be able to lead these animals lovingly because they will all share love with one another and also towards human beings.
Actually a bear is omnivorous and eats a wide variety of plants and animals. However, they may eat a little grass for a laxative or micro nutrient effect but they do not actively feed on it as a food source. Grass is too low in nutrition and is too hard to digest. The bear (not having a digestive tract designed for it) would use more energy than they gain by eating grass. Any kind of bear can eat cattle, if it's hungry enough and too confident to do so. But most bears will go after young calves, not adult cows. But in the Millenium the knowledge of God will restore the body system and mind of the bear in such a way that it will start to graze with the cow and their young ones will lie together near them in friendship. O praise the Lord!
Remember that it is the restored knowledge of God that makes the difference in the mind of all animals and birds during the Millenium rule of Jesus along with all the Church saints. Thus it is possible with God for all animals to get together in love and frienship under the dominion of man who is made in the image of God (Luke 1:37; Matt 19:26). May God help us to live as a new creation sons of God from now on (Gal 3:26; Rom 8:14), so that as we allow ourselves to suffer in our flesh inorder to be transformed in to the image of the Son of God day in and day out, we will be glorified surely with Jesus in the coming Millennium and for eternity ahead in the new heaven and earth (Rom 8:29-30; 2 Tim 2:12; 2 Cor 3:18).
