The Highest Mountain During The Millennium Of Jesus Christ Will Be?
Question : Will Mount Zion or Mount Everest will be the highest peak during the soon coming Millennium rule of Jesus Christ?
Answer : The secrets of the final days in the Millennium was revealed to the Prophet Isaiah concerning Judah and Jerusalem, the Bible says, "2 In the last days the mountain of the Lord's temple will be established as chief among the mountains; it will be raised above the hills, and all nations will stream to it. 3 Many peoples will come and say, "Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths." The law will go out from Zion, the word of the LORD from Jerusalem." (Isa 2:2-3, NIV).
Lambert Dolphin says, "The Temple Mount, prominent in most photos of Jerusalem occupies an area of about 45 acres. However the elevation of the bedrock outcropping on the Temple Mount within the Dome of the Rock Moslem shrine is only 741 meters.
A distinctly separate "mountain" is Mount Zion (elevation 772 meters) which lies about 600 meters to the West. In ancient times a deep valley, the Tyropean Valley, or Valley of the Cheesemakers, separated Mt. Zion from Mt. Moriah. Today many layers of ruined city and rubble from Jerusalem's many destructions completely fills this valley. In fact at the Western Wall, the Kotel, or Jewish prayer plaza, about half of the old wall of the Temple Mount lies below the present ground level. One of these days the present height of Mount Zion in Jerusalem which is approximately 772 meters will be lifted up higher than the Mount Everest (Present day highest - Mountain peak : Everest, Range : Himalayas, Location : Nepal/Tibet, Height : 29,035 ft/ 8,850 m) which is the highest peak in the mountain of Himalayas. This will happen during the second coming of Jesus Christ. Praise the Lord! Very soon it will be fulfilled for the glory of God! All the peoples of all nations of the world will flock to Mount Zion to receive blessings from the Lord Jesus. There at the highest point, God's temple will be situated for the glory of God! Every valley shall be raised up, every mountain and hill made low; the rough ground shall become level, the rugged places a plain (Isa 40:4). All the present day mountains including mount Everest will be lowered when a great earth quake at the time of Jesus' Second Coming will do a tectonic shift to raise Mount Zion above all the mountains of the world (Rev 11:8, 13; 8:5; 16:18; 6:12, 17; Matt 24:29). Praise the Lord!
Because of the restoration of water canopy above the earth as when it was created (Gen 1:7), nobody will die on their way to Mount Zion in those days because of cold weather as it is with the present day trekking people who try to reach mount Everest, instead they will enjoy the air conditioned climate which will be available right through out the pilgrimage of their journey to Mount Zion and the temple of God in it (Mic 4:4; Zec 3:10). Then will the blessed trekking of the regular year to year pilgrimage will be done in a blessed way to the Mount Zion. There Jesus Christ from His Holy Temple will bless all and will send them back to their nations (Zech14:16-17, 20-21).
