Will God Not Forgive A LGBT Even If They Ask For Forgiveness?
What is it we as a Church do to let them feel accepted? The minute someone has a tattoo on or is different from how 'church goers' look like we shut doors for them, but that isn't what Jesus did! All I'm saying is the same way you accept me into your family there should be room for people in your house/church to find restoration with the father.. In the end all God wants is a relationship with us!
The reason I said this is because of the way people comment about the LGBT within the Church community....Doesn't seem like they would have the heart to accept such people!
I am standing for the truth.. But love you show and speak about is superficial! God went to dine with Zaccheaus when he was in sin.. Not when he left everything. I think you are assuming that they will never change, without giving them a chance. I would not want to argue with you but I do not understand the Gospel you preach when God says above all is Love.. Where is the love? I hate the sin, but I love the sinner! A lie is a sin and so is homosexuality.. Don't treat it like homosexuality is a greater sin!!
Answer : I think you have understood it in parts. As a whole, If some asks for forgiveness by believing Jesus, then they are considered as someone who is repenting and God says that Kingdom of God belongs to them as they have with child-like faith have accepted God's offer. Those who have not repented are those who are going towards a dead end road. Yes when God forgives a homosexual or any other sinner of any type, He forgives their past, present and even future sins. Then they are born again as His very own child and will continue to live with God forever. For a child of God who sins, he need to confess that sin to God and get restored in fellowship with God. A child of God cannot continue to sin indefinitely without remorse because the convictor who is the Holy Spirit lives in them and does convict them to repent when ever they sin.
You are talking about the physical Church, but God is not just having Church but a Kingdom. It is He who forgives those who repent by seeing the sincere heart of the seeker. God is not in need of relationship, but people who will believe Him and please Him by obeying His Word. So do not mix both, a person who believes in Jesus and is born again will go to heaven and be in His Kingdom even though he might not have even stepped in to the Church. Yes I understand that there is a big seeker friendly Churches that have led people to stay and scratch their back without ever insisting that repentance is needed to find Jesus and go to heaven. What is the use? It is the blind leading the blind in to the ditch by playing with eternity. I also understand that a balance is needed not to judge a new seeker of Jesus but rather let them understand the full gospel of repentance that God wants to become His People. Jesus was judged for people's sin so that they could become free from sin. Repentance is an attitude of heart that comes with a decision to accept that we are sinners and accept that we have sinned against God when we actually do, it is not stop doing sin altogether as we human do not have the power to stop it altogether or else we do not need a Savior to save us from our sins. We do not sin just because we are sinners, we are sinners because we are born that way. Only Jesus Christ save us from all sins including LGBT and could help us overcome sin and stay victorious in this life as a repentant follower of Him. So God expects all humans including the LGBT to first repent, that is accept themselves as sinners and Jesus as their Lord and Savior, then get saved from sin for eternity ahead.
THE CHURCH IS A HOSPITAL FOR SINNERS, NOT A CLUB HOUSE FOR SOCIAL HIGH TIME AND FUN. In that way, each True Church of Jesus Christ will have an agenda for the true seekers to be reached...in whatever way they can.
I believe that you have not understood the gospel at all. Never once did Jesus agree with the sin of people, love went as far as reaching them out to make them realize that they need repentance. Here is what Jesus said when people died due to uprising against government and fall of towers, "There were present at that season some who told Him about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. 2 And Jesus answered and said to them, “Do you suppose that these Galileans were worse sinners than all other Galileans, because they suffered such things? 3 I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish. 4 Or those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed them, do you think that they were worse sinners than all other men who dwelt in Jerusalem? 5 I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish.”" (Luke 13:1-5). Do you think, He is telling to us in this generation some different gospel? Zacchaeus repented with his whole heart and as a result of it Jesus said to him that salvation has come to his house, Jesus knew much before it happened that this man was sincerely seeking for salvation so Jesus went to his house (John 2:24). GOD DOES LOVE ALL SINNERS, BUT HE WANTS THEM ALL TO REPENT AND ONLY THEN HE COULD RECEIVE THEM (John 3:16). That is why when the lost prodigal son was in to all kind of sin, the father did not go after him chasing him to every place, instead He stayed in His Home and expected His son to return home. But once the lost son repented and turned towards Him, he ran towards Him in compassion and love to welcome and embrace him in to His Presence forever (Luke 15:20-21). Understand that the true love of God "does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth." (1 Cor 13:6). When you are speaking about any other love than this real Love of God, it is a false love that does not consider both the goodness of God's love and severity of God towards sin at the same time (Rom 11:22). The goodness of God's love and grace always leads us to repentance and will give us victory over all circumstances of sin again and again in our life to make us a overcomer in this world by faith (Rom 2:3; Titus 2:11-12; 1 John 5:4). Those who speak about a powerless gospel that accepts sinners without repentance is something of a deception that turns the grace of God into lewdness and deny the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ, from such people apostle Paul has clearly told us all to turn away (Jude 1:4; 2 Tim 3:5-9).
The whole world at the time of Noah was not willing to repent and turn towards God to believe what He says and obey Him except eight person, you know that only those eight person of the Noah's household were saved (1 Peter 3:20). I do not expect you to agree with me, but do agree with the Bible and stand on God's side, that is why I take so much effort to explain to you from the Scripture.
In our day, we are challenged by God through Jesus to follow Noah's example of perfect obedience or at least be born-again at least like the righteous Lot (Luke 17:26-33). Sodom and Gomorrah being turned in to ashes for its sexually sinfulness and ungodly living is a example to our end time generation that is living ungodly lives with all filthy conduct, of which the top most thing is homosexuality (2 Peter 2:4-8). I believe if we are truly righteous with a righteous soul that beats for Jesus, we will be tormented like Lot in our day to day life on earth in our generation, and much more than that we will be in intercession and prayer for the salvation of the lost LGBT souls, seeing and hearing the lawless deeds of all those people around us (2 Peter 2:8). Thank God, that it will not continue with us forever like this because the Lord has promised to rapture the Church and deliver the godly out of temptations to reserve the unjust under the punishment for the day of judgment during the worldwide tribulation that is coming upon the whole earth very very sooner than we think (2 Peter 2:9; 1 Tim 2:1-4; Rev 3:10). Praise the Lord!
The apostle Jude also have agreed with this end time message to say that Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities around them having given themselves to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh of homosexuality (Rom 1:26-27, 28; Lev 20:13), are set forth as an example for suffering the eternal fire (Jude 7). WE ARE LIVING IN A VERY DANGEROUS TIME UNLIKE THE LAST TWO THOUSAND YEARS OF THE CHURCH EXISTENCE, WE ARE LIVING IN THE VERY END OF END BEFORE THE COMING OF THE LORD JESUS.
So for those who live mockingly asking, 'where is the coming of the Lord?, two thousand years have gone by, the same things are happening again and again and nothing has changed even from the time of creation of all things,' are actually fulfilling the prophecy of apostle Peter who spoke about our times saying that such things people will start to tell and throw the warning of Jesus lightly, but at that time the day of the Lord will start to come unexpectedly in which Jesus will rule the whole world for a thousand years (2 Peter 3:3-9). THE ONE REASON GOD HAS NOT CLOSED THE DOOR OF THE CHURCH FOR THE WORLD IS THAT HE IS WAITING STILL AND NOT WILLING THAT ANY OF THE SINNER SHOULD PERISH IN GOD'S JUDGMENT OF TRIBULATION WITHOUT A CHANCE TO HEAR AND SEE THE TRUE GOSPEL OF CHRIST DISPLAYED BY THE GENUINE GODLY PEOPLE WITHIN THE CHURCH (2 Peter 3:9).
May God help us all to keep the faith bright, thus shining the light of Jesus to all the world in these end of end times before the trumpet of God sounds to take the Church away to the place prepared for it in our Father's house (Luke 18:8; John 14:3).
So according to the Bible God's considers HOMOSEXUALITY TO BE THE FINAL ORDER OF REBELLION AGAINST GOD, this is the reason I have referred all the apostles who have given warning especially against this sin, even though all sin is lawlessness against God (1 John 3:4). I also have stood against Pharisaical religious life of hypocrisy and do always say that committing a small sin is equal to committing any other sins which are considered as big in terms of manifestation and in the society, and there is no difference except the a BIG ZERO we all get when it comes to validation before God for marking our spiritual life with grades (James 2:10), in other words we all can only boast and sing about the greatness about ourselves is that we now have the perfect righteousness of Christ within us as He has become our righteousness (2 Cor 5:21; 1 Cor 1:30-31). I stand by the law of liberty to say that God's mercy will triumph when we repent to believe in Jesus and live by His Grace to see and experience that sin shall not have dominion over us (James 2:12-13; Rom 6:14). If you hate sin and love sinners truly, stand on God's side which is actually based on what He has already revealed in His Word clearly.
So I want you not to judge the people of God when they are standing on God's side and are tormented seeing the ungodly life of the world that is becoming perverse and evil more than ever before, day by day rapidly degenerating in to a godless society (Matt 7:1-5). You do not know the heart attitude behind the saints saying such things they feel. But I appreciate that you have expressed what you have thought openly, but also I want you to read the Bible for some better understanding regarding these things for gaining some deeper insight. That is the reason we are in social media, to encourage and edify one another daily in the Lord so that we can stay strong in faith and not be hardened in heart because of the deceitfulness of sin, as we see the coming of the Lord drawing nearer and nearer than ever before (1 Thess 5:11; Heb 3:13; 10:25). Thank you.
Much Blessings....
