I Need Urgent Counsel Concerning My Job
Answer : Greetings to you in Jesus wonderful name! First of all we are instructed clearly by Apostle James to, " 2 ...count it all joy when we fall into various trials, 3 knowing that the testing of our faith produces patience. 4 But let patience have its perfect work, that we may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing." (James 1:2-4). Why should we count the hardship of trials as something to be joyful about? We know as a fallen human being, we all lack spiritually a lot of thing that we cannot gain any other way except through temporal earthly trials that God allows intentionally so that at the end of it we might come to know through faith and perseverance, the good end intended by the Lord to make us experientially understand that the Lord is very compassionate and merciful (James 5:11; Heb 10:35-36; Psa 103:7-8; Jer 29:11). So the sly and deceitful Absalom may be the very instrument whom God usually allows to show to His children His glory, purify and refine them (2 Samuel 15:5-6; Rom 9:17-18), and to reveal His glory before all people on the day of His judgment in which all the wrath of men will praise Him because he would have by then caught the wise in the foolishness of their craftiness (Psa 76:10; 1 Cor 3:19; Job 5:13). So I would say boldly that not only Pharoh's and Absalom's are allowed by God, but they are necessary for our spiritual promotions and eternal blessedness.
We see that the snake which was more cunning than any beast of the field was chosen by Satan in the Garden of Eden to tempt the first man and woman to fall in to sin (Gen 3:1), like that even in our times Satan chooses the wise and cunning and concentrates to bestow his resources on them to deceive them to do his will while God chooses the weak and the foolish like us to bid for His will and purpose to be done (Matt 4:8-9; 1 Cor 1:26-29). This is what is happening to you, God has allowed the wise in their own eyes to test you who is His child who depends on Him and His will to be done in your life and your family. Satan has used his agents to demote you and thus is trying to destroy your faith by bringing fear about your future existence, but God is trying to convey to you that He is in control of everything and that you need not act re-actively or in a fleshly way to try to defend yourself to keep yourself safe, but rather be meek to prove to the world that you are not weak but strong in God who actually defends for all those who are loyal to Him in their heart by being obedient to the Word of God, that proves beyond doubt to all that they rely on the Lord and not on their own fleshly wisdom or strength (Psa 46:10-11; Rom 8:31; Matt 5:5; 2 Chron 16:8-9; Isa 66:2).
Until we who are Christians are taken to court unavoidably by someone who are worldly wise in their own eyes and take the court route against us and act vengefully thinking that they can deceive men through money and prove themselves for their own advantage like a unbeliever (Isa 5:21; Prov 3:7; 26:12; 28:11), Christians should avoid court route for justice altogether by abiding to the Church council or elders and then trusting God to serve justice and act vengefully against the unrepentant (Matt 18:15-17; 1 Cor 5:5; 7:15; 1 Cor 6:1-7; Zep 3:5; Rom 12:19). When God allows you to be dragged in to court system, He knows how to defend you. In such times, we must speak out when the Holy Spirit speaks through us and we should keep quiet when the Holy Spirit keeps our mouth mute (Luke 12:11-12; Matt 10:16-23; 1 Peter 2:20-23), no matter what shaping process of hardship we go through such ordeals the result will be in the Lord's hand and we should accept things willingly as from His hand to get in to prison if we are thrown in to it or to come out positively if we are let out of it also (Gen 40:3; 41:14; 2 Chron 18:26; Jer 38:6; Matt 11:2; 14:3, 10; Acts 5:17-19; 8:3; 16:18-24, 25, 35-40), one thing is very important to maintain during such times is our positive attitude to believe that God will work all things [i.e. which includes glad, sad, mad and angry things] work together for our eternal good because we love God even through suffering wrongfully for righteousness sake and for His name sake (1 Peter 2:19; Rom 8:28). All men are fallible and sinful, to the world's standard the court route might be acceptable, but for us Christians only the justice of the Lord can suffice because it is perfect and satisfies our righteous heart immensely (Deut 32:4; Psa 9:8-9, 12, 16). So allow the Lord to work in His time and way to bring retribution, reconciliation and reward for all the loses we suffer in our lives.
I believe that the Lord is working on your behalf powerfully to bring success and victory to you and your family. Hold on to the promises He has given you. According to the Lord God Almighty, "For exaltation comes neither from the east nor from the west nor from the south. 7 But God is the Judge: He puts down one, and exalts another." (Psa 75:6). But at the same time God has clearly told in the same Chapter, "I choose the proper time, I will judge uprightly." (Psa 75:2). If you take things in your own hand, by choosing fleshly reaction you will waste the trial that has come up to you by Divine appointment, without any real benefit to avail through it (Heb 2:2-3). So if you want God to judge against all the evils that are done through Divine retribution, reconciliation and reward for the trial that has come your way by the Divine hand for your spiritual and earthly promotion, then you must learn patience to wait until God's appointed time comes to make Him judge the evil that are done against you and reward you with a promotion for your faith in Him (Heb 11:6). You and your wife are right in hearing God that you should not go ahead with the petition, this cannot be a deception because meekness cannot be a weakness as there is a strong God who has never failed even one time in the past is standing on behalf of you to defend you and make you inherit the earth (Matt 5:5, 10, 44-45, 46-48). When you lie low in the dust and ashes before God and before men for God's sake, God has promised to raise such poor and beggarly loyal heart from the dust and ash heap to set them among princes and make them inherit the throne of His eternal glory (1 Samuel 2:7-8; Rev 2:6; 3:21).
Do not worry about the evil power of sorcery and witchcraft, it cannot touch you as you are a child of God. Here are verses where God has promised to His children regarding His invincible protection against all evil for you to hold His promises in faith to make it active over your life and family, "For there is no sorcery against Jacob, nor any divination against Israel. It now must be said of Jacob and of Israel, ‘Oh, what God has done!’" (Num 23:23) and "No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is from Me,” Says the LORD (Isa 54:17).
Whenever a vision comes that does not bring faith but instead brings fear, it should immediately be recognized as something that Satan has sent to destroy our faith and bring discouragement to make us get defeated spiritually. Thus such visions or dreams should immediately be discarded and thrown out of our mind in Jesus name and should continue to be resisted in Jesus name if the memory of it comes again. When we are sincere to walk in the highway of holiness of the Lord and are in His will to glorify His name, even if we are a fool spiritually, because of our sincere desire to please the Lord we shall not go astray and be lost away from the will of God no matter what (Isa 35:8). So having these promises, I pray that you and your family shall walk together in the highway of holiness to be a overcomer in your lives and bring great glory to the Lord!
Much Blessings....
