Are Both The Word 'Created' And 'Made' Means The Same?

I believe in 6 24 hours day creation. I was reading your latest article "what it your take on the big bang theory" and came across a line from the 2nd point that says "So out of nothing God initially created the heavens and the earth (Gen 1:1) and when the chaos was brought in to the earth by Satan and his demonic minions, then soon after sometime immediately God recreated all things by the power of His spoken Word again (Gen 1:3-27)."
I have heard and read from proponents of the gap theory who believe in the old earth creation that point which I copy pasted above.
It's a little confusing for me why you are also saying that as it seems to me like a contradiction.
Please let me know what you have to back it up with.
Answer : Greetings! Praise the Lord! I have said, "So out of nothing God initially created the heavens and the earth (Gen 1:1) and when the chaos was brought in to the earth by Satan and his demonic minions, then soon after sometime immediately God recreated all things by the power of His spoken Word again (Gen 1:3-27)."
In Gen 1:1 the Bible says, "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." Here the meaning for the word "created" in Hebrew is 'bara' which means God 'in a formative processes made fat the whole earth out of nothing'. In other words, out of no initial raw materials, God brought the whole material heavens and the earth in to existence.
Then Genesis 1:2 comes, "The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters." As we know that the Character of God will make everything beautiful in its time (Eccl 3:11), the earth was shapeless, void having no meaningful things, darkness was the existing highlight of the times...which shows that the earth which was initially created by God with a purpose has become like this because the Bible speaks about a angelic rebellion that had happened at that time (Isa 45:18; Rev 12:9, 4).
After all these things happened, we know that God continued his creation because after this the same Gen 1:2 continues saying, "...And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters." In other words, the rebellion of Satan and his angels did not stop God from continuing his work of creation and so the Spirit of God kept on moving and He did not stop from working towards the fulfillment of God's purpose of creating the earth by filling it with life, beauty, and goodness as we then see in Gen 1:3 immediately after that, "..Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light." (Gen 1:3). The word 'And' in Gen 1:2 and 'Then' in Gen 1:3 emphasizes that there was no big gap between Genesis 1:1 and Gen 1:3 due to the disturbance from Satan and his fallen angels.
I explained saying, "....then soon after sometime immediately God recreated all things by the power of His spoken Word again". I said this thing to emphasize that after sometime of the Spirit of God hovering over the face of waters to bring to submission all the rebellion of Satan and his fallen angels, the recreation work of God continued. I used the word recreation because when you see God speaking about Gen 1:3-31 in Gen 2:1-3 the Bible continues saying,"1 Thus the heavens and the earth, and all the host of them, were finished. 2 And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done. 3 Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made."
For understanding purpose I used the word 'recreation' which means that God did not again make the earth crust out of nothing, but out of whatever state of formlessness, void and darkness, God continued his creation work to finish it with the apex crown of His creation which was the human beings whom he hosted on earth with all his other creations on earth.
That is why we see the Bible says that God, "...rested from all His work which God had created and made." (Gen 2:3b). Here the Hebrew word for 'created' is the same word 'bara' which means 'choose, create out of nothing, dispatch or keep in place with reproductive power in itself and do make fat or continue to increase it' and the Hebrew word for 'made' which is 'asah' means 'accomplish, advance, appoint, procure, perform, bring forth and bring to pass'. So God created initially out of nothing and then made the earth and all its hosts out of it. For example God took the dust of the earth and created humans which emphasizes that God made humans from the existing dust of the earth (Gen 2:7).
So I used the word 're-creation' to mean that God made in six days heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them (Gen 20:11). But the original creation of the heavens and the earth happened in Gen 1:1 in the beginning itself. So it is not a contradiction but rather the truth in which we should all stand and not be influenced by the worldly Big Bang theory which contradicts the Bible and bring to low esteem the power of God through which God is able to create and sustain anything He wills by the Word of His Power.
I do not oppose the gap theory which actually explains how sin first came in to world through Satan’s sin which brought death to the original creation, through Adam’s sin, evil of sin and death entered our world to bring curse upon mankind (Rom 5:12; Isa 14:12–14; Eze 28:12–18). Sin could not enter the world until Adam voluntarily transgressed, I mean Satan, via the serpent, successfully tempted man to make that choice, but I oppose the gap of millions of years which have been speculated by the Gap Theory for the earth to have been in that dormant state as though God was not able to do anything until He newly planned a alternative to continue His creation work. That doesn't make sense and it only makes God powerless against the evil that had happened when the Bible points otherwise as explained above. Many of those who hold to the gap theory do so in order to reconcile old-earth, evolutionary theories with the book of Genesis, and they who do it slowly slide and slip in to strained reconciliation between truth of God and the lies of the world. According to me it is better to stand on one side, either truth or lies, than to be miserable by trying to hold on to God and the world trying to reconcile it when it can't be done. Jesus said "because you are luke-warm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of my mouth" (Rev 3:16), this is a warning especially to those who want to reconcile the truth of God and the lies of the world which will make their work for God become useless without any reward for eternity ahead.
