Is God Very Jealous Of His Children To Vindicate Them When They Get Mocked, Knocked And Shocked, And Thus Are Treated Violently By His Enemies?
Answer : Greetings in Jesus wonderful name! I do not know the exact post you are referring to. It is nice to see you practice this principle, 'Don't Curse, but Bless even your Enemies'. I believe as a child of God we need to keep this command of which Jesus said to practice the new to make us understand that the old is becoming obsolete or out of date (Heb 8:13) as the following higher level supersedes and make the old redundant, " 43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, 45 that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. 46 For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? 47 And if you greet your brethren only, what do you do more than others? Do not even the tax collectors do so? 48 Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect." (Matt 5:43-48).
There is a great joy that comes to our Father as we as His children start to learn to walk in His wonderful perfect Character to become perfect in our spiritual walk on earth as He is in heaven (Luke 15:7, 10, 24). Once we realize that the New Commandment that Jesus has taught us is much much higher than the Old Testament commandments because all of it has been fulfilled in Him (Matt 5:17), then, only then we will start to walk in the new life of the New Testament which is not by striving to walk by God's law, but rather resting in the promises of Jesus to receive grace from Him to walk in the perfection of the Father God (Matt 5:19, 20; Php 4:13; Phile 25). In other words, the old is also contained in the new covenant, if we walk in the new covenant we need not search from the old what is right, what is wrong but can be confident that we are walking pleasing to God the Father as we are walking in the perfection of righteousness that Jesus gives to us through His grace.
Sometimes, if His children who practice the above New Covenant are mocked, yes God is indeed jealous for His children and will force their enemies towards repentance for making a mockery of the good nature of God's children or take their meekness as weakness to act violently or deceitfully against them (James 4:5-6), many times God by giving these people who act as our enemies a timeline, He will extend his mercy and grace to make them be drawn towards Him in order to transform them and make them repent (1 Tim 2:4; Ezek 18:23), if He will find that they harden their heart in spite of it all, a terrible judgment that is what is awaiting them which may come sooner or later, they will have to face to reap the consequence of their own folly. They will be led in to destruction by their own foolishness of the so called wisdom of this present world that they held on to (Rom 12:19; James 3:14-15, 16; 1 Cor 1:27; 3:18; Prov 18:7; 14:7-9 ESV; Heb 10:29-30). Doing wrong is a joke to a fool (Prov 10:23), these are the ones who conceals hatred, has lying lips, and will utter slander as a fool toward God and His children (Prov 10:18), thus the fools through their own sinful ways and because of their iniquities will suffer affliction from God and they will surely end in disgrace (Psa 107:17; Prov 3:35). Because our God is a just God who judges rightly (Psa 9:8), we can choose to continue to bless our enemies, pray for our persecutors and love those haters of us by doing good to them to thus practice our heavenly Father's character to become more and more in to His image through which He will glorify us (Rom 8:28, 29, 30). What a assurance God gives, what ever the enemy does against us in the end will turn out to be for our good, which is to become like our Father in heaven who is perfect! Once we are perfected we will lack nothing of which we will need for our eternal prosperity with God to continue in our life to come with Him (James 1:4).
I understand your good heart of the Father God that you practiced towards your younger Brother, but the flesh profits nothing in the spiritual realm so that not even the sons of Abraham in the flesh are not real sons of God but those of faith are the only ones who are considered by God as the real sons of Abraham of whom we are by the grace of God (John 6:63; Gal 3:7; Matt 8:12; Luke 13:29). So God judges the worldly wise who are actually fools towards God, these wise men have their eyes on earthly material things because within them they are not born again or might be living a fleshly earthly focused life which deserves the judgment of God to make them repent or let them die to save their souls for eternity (1 Peter 4:17, 18; 1 Peter 4:6; 1 Cor 5:5).
Yes once again I reaffirm that our God is serious, furious, and jealous of His own Children, who OBEY HIS COMMAND, he blesses them by giving priority to the shaping of their character to become like His own as the first priority for which He always uses the enemy to try his best to come and afflict us in whatever way he can, but when the work of perfection is over in us, He will immediately judge the enemies of us and prove how much blessed we are who have endured suffering for His sake.
In the book of Psalms God reveals a deep secret about this blessing attitude and why He always demands it in His children who love Him, "16 Because he did not remember to show mercy, but persecuted the poor and needy man, that he might even slay the broken in heart. 17 As he loved cursing, so let it come to him; As he did not delight in blessing, so let it be far from him." (Psa 109:16-17). In other words, only to the merciful, God has promised that they will receive mercy (Matt 5:7), again God has promised every human that He will give to them the desires of their heart (Psa 37:4), when the wicked evil doers love cursing the righteous, they will receive what they love, that is curses upon them and their family even for now, and for eternity ahead if they are unsaved (Luke 13:28; Matt 13:42; Isa 8:21; Rev 16:9, 11). Those who delight in blessing others are the righteous who delight in the Character of the Lord Jesus and Our Father in Heaven, so they will receive the blessing that they have sown to others by keeping it coming out of their mouth saying, 'God bless You, Jesus bless you, etc...' even to their enemies continually revealing the inner Character of their Father in heaven, will be blessed abundantly 100 times and 1000 times and more and more times infinitely as that same blessing that they have spoken as a seed will fall in to their own lives back to multiply infinitely as they have blessed others and loved it in their lives, they will reap the blessing of God continually without fail now and for eternity ahead (Gal 6:7).
Thus the attitude of the righteous will be the following, "Then let them curse me if they like, but you will bless me! When they attack me, they will be disgraced! But I, your servant, will go right on rejoicing!" (Psa 109:28, NLT). All the children of God know that expressing and growing in the Character of our heavenly Father is the ultimate desire of the Father that brings gladness to Him and makes His heart warmth enough to open His hand and heart to bless them all now and for eternity ahead. Praise the Lord!
God calls us and separates us with a holy calling to be conformed to become in His own image which is the primary purpose we are saved. I believe that the greatest life to live is to give away all we have (Matt 19:21; Luke 18:22; Mark 10:21), and with a heart of a bird fly up and down in the joy of heaven on earth (Matt 6:26), and follow the guidance of our Lord Jesus day to day (John 21:22), to expect and receive the provision that God provides every day by faith and carry on to fulfill the great purpose and destiny that He has for us in this life which is only a training ground in which we are prepared for the real life to come which we are going to live gloriously with Him in great reward and assurance of eternal glory to follow (Matt 6:32-33; Rom 8:18). 'Live full and die empty!,' should be our motto in this life. I mean life lived abundantly will be full of rejoicing in the Lord (Php 4:4), and abundant life of joy, peace and righteousness in the Holy Spirit will be in full manifestation every day of our life and that is the sign of God's kingdom ruling over our lives, and for us this is the evidence of living in its glory now (Rom 14:17; John 10:10). GLORY TO GOD!
Yes indeed Psa 146:5 which says, "Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God," is the sure assurance of a mighty blessing of happiness in this life and in the life to come to all the righteous people who hope is in the Lord their God. There cannot be even a moment of dullness in the life of the righteous who walk in the way of the perfection of their Heavenly Father in heaven, because God Himself will fill their life full of excitement and happiness for now and even for ever. Amen.
Yes continuing to pray for you, praise the Lord!
Much Blessings....
