Homosexuality was considered sexually immoral and deviant by God, because it could turn people to become perverse to actually break God's institution of marriage, prevent fruitful family life and will deny humanity the chance to multiplying and fill the earth to subdue it and have dominion over it, which was directly against the very purpose of God which was set by God in the beginning of times during the initial creation period (Gen 1:27-28). Death was the penalty prescribed by God for Homosexuality, so that people might fear to practice this perversion against God.

This spirit of error is taking over the whole world to give a reason for practicing sin such as homosexuality, against the spirit of truth of God, but God minces no words to call clearly homosexuality as an abomination to Him, and further says that they who practice such a perversion deserves not only spiritual death and hell fire, but also physical death to make people fear to practice such a perversion against Him (Leviticus 18:22). God made Adam and Eve to make a point that people have no choice in the matter of choosing which gender they are born, but only God chooses that and blesses people when a man and woman should commit to each other and produce godly offspring with in the institution of marriage to live, love and cherish each other within family.
All sin is lawlessness including homosexuality, and people need to repent of it and confess to God about it to be relieved from the penalty, presence and power of sin which are its wages which brings separation from God (1 John 3:4; Gal 6:23; Prov 28:13). In other words, if we sin one type of sin and not the other type, still we are guilty of breaking all the law (Jam 2:10; Eze 18:24; Job 9:1), then we might ask, how can any man be ever righteous before God? But Paul the apostle has revealed that the sin of homosexuality is worse than other sins because, he revealed that those who do not glorify God and are unthankful, their thoughts get darkened and they fall in to idolatry of worshiping an idol, idea, material comfort, money, sex, etc...that God finally gives them off to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves by the perverse and vile passion of homosexuality which in itself becomes a judgment to them of what is shameful to receive within them a devilish homosexual spirit influence, thus living in the penalty of error end up in themselves being condemned which ends many times in sexually transmitted diseases, spiritual blindness and separation from God which leads to eternal death ultimately in the end (Rom 1:21-27). So though homosexuality like any other sins is equally sinful to God and must be repented and confessed to God to get saved, this sin is an evidence of God withdrawing his mercy to indicate that he has left a person hopelessly in the unnatural desire of his selfish path to hell fire because of his stubbornness not to retain God in their knowledge and thus give them over to a debased mind to do those things which are not fitting (Rom 1:28). Sexual orientation is a lie from hell that is seeking to destroy more and more souls, and take them hopelessly to hell fire. Run, run and run away from it saints and be saved from the perversion of the filth of pornography, masturbation, homosexuality and all kinds of sexual immorality of this generation which has been planned by the devil as a pipe line from hell to take hell to the humanity, and take back humanity to hell fire forever.

Here is how God wants us to realize and live as His saved children, "15 Do you not see and know that your bodies are members (bodily parts) of Christ (the Messiah)? Am I therefore to take the parts of Christ and make [them] parts of a prostitute? Never! Never! 16 Or do you not know and realize that when a man joins himself to a prostitute, he becomes one body with her? The two, it is written, shall become one flesh. 17 But the person who is united to the Lord becomes one spirit with Him. 18 Shun immorality and all sexual looseness [flee from impurity in thought, word, or deed]. In other, God did not make Adam and Steve, along with Eve and Eva to say that sexual orientation is possible without any serious consequence of God's judgment and condemnation. God made Adam and Eve to make a point that people have no choice in the matter of choosing which gender they are born, but only God chooses that and blesses people when a man and woman should commit to each other and produce godly offspring with in the institution of marriage to live, love and cherish each other within family.
All sin is lawlessness including homosexuality, and people need to repent of it and confess to God about it to be relieved from the penalty, presence and power of sin which are its wages which brings separation from God (1 John 3:4; Gal 6:23; Prov 28:13). In other words, if we sin one type of sin and not the other type, still we are guilty of breaking all the law (Jam 2:10; Eze 18:24; Job 9:1), then we might ask, how can any man be ever righteous before God? Only through having faith in Jesus Christ, who because of taking all the sins of all the sinners once for all time, have atoned through giving His very own life on the Cross for them which God accepted, we by further faith in His life shall be saved and made righteous before God through that Divine exchange forever and ever (Rom 5:1-2, 9-10, 16-17, 19, 21; 1 Pet 1:5; 1 John 2:2; Heb 10:12, 14; 2 Cor 5:21). Amen. But Paul the apostle has revealed that the sin of homosexuality is worse than other sins because, he revealed that those who do not glorify God and are unthankful, their thoughts get darkened and they fall in to idolatry of worshiping an idol, idea, material comfort, money, sex, etc...that God finally gives them off to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves by the perverse and vile passion of homosexuality which in itself becomes a judgment to them of what is shameful to receive within them a devilish homosexual spirit influence, thus living in the penalty of error end up in themselves being condemned which ends many times in sexually transmitted diseases, spiritual blindness and separation from God which leads to eternal death ultimately in the end (Rom 1:21-27). So though homosexuality like any other sins is equally sinful to God and must be repented and confessed to God to get saved, this sin is an evidence of God withdrawing his mercy to indicate that he has left a person hopelessly in the unnatural desire of his selfish path to hell fire because of his stubbornness not to retain God in their knowledge and thus give them over to a debased mind to do those things which are not fitting (Rom 1:28). Sexual orientation is a lie from hell that is seeking to destroy more and more souls, and take them hopelessly to hell fire. Run, run and run away from it saints and be saved from the perversion of the filth of pornography, masturbation, homosexuality and all kinds of sexual immorality of this generation which has been planned by the devil as a pipe line from hell to take hell to the humanity, and take back humanity to hell fire forever.
Is homosexuality a serious sin as in the New Testament times as in the Old Testament times, do we as believers should stay away from it?
"9 Do you not know that the unrighteous and the wrongdoers will not inherit or have any share in the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived (misled): neither the impure and immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor those who participate in homosexuality, 10 Nor cheats (swindlers and thieves), nor greedy graspers, nor drunkards, nor foulmouthed revilers and slanderers, nor extortioners and robbers will inherit or have any share in the kingdom of God. 11 And such some of you were [once]. But you were washed clean (purified by a complete atonement for sin and made free from the guilt of sin), and you were consecrated (set apart, hallowed), and you were justified [pronounced righteous, by trusting] in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the [Holy] Spirit of our God." (1 Cor 6:9-11, AB).
We know from the above verse that all sinfulness must be avoided, as homosexuality remains the main sin of the last days, homosexuality should never be considered lightly, because the above verse reveals that those participating in it will not inherit or share in the Kingdom of God. Going to Church will not save us, but believing in Jesus and being washed by His blood will only save us from sin and take us to heaven. Once we are saved, we must throw away the works of darkness and fleshly sins which includes homosexuality as a sign of gratefulness for the salvation of God that He has given to us freely as a gift. Being thankful to God will keep a human away from homosexuality, or homosexuality will keep a human away from being thankful to God. Believers must live a life of gratefulness and thankfulness to God.
Here is how God wants us to realize and live as His saved children, "15 Do you not see and know that your bodies are members (bodily parts) of Christ (the Messiah)? Am I therefore to take the parts of Christ and make [them] parts of a prostitute? Never! Never! 16 Or do you not know and realize that when a man joins himself to a prostitute, he becomes one body with her? The two, it is written, shall become one flesh. 17 But the person who is united to the Lord becomes one spirit with Him. 18 Shun immorality and all sexual looseness [flee from impurity in thought, word, or deed]. Any other sin which a man commits is one outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. 19 Do you not know that your body is the temple (the very sanctuary) of the Holy Spirit Who lives within you, Whom you have received [as a Gift] from God? You are not your own, 20 You were bought with a price [purchased with a preciousness and paid for, made His own]. So then, honor God and bring glory to Him in your body." (1 Cor 6:15-20, AB). Praise the Lord!
We should never entertain any kind of immorality in our lives, and choose positively to shun all sexual looseness to flee from impurity in thought, word, or deed of any kind which includes homosexuality. We should honor, serve and bring glory to God for his benevolence towards us in Christ Jesus through whom He has reconciled us to Himself and has saved us from all sins and its consequences. May we remain grateful to God for his innumerable benefits of all goodness and mainly salvation from sin which has given us all the confidence and assurance of a definite life abundant on earth now and a life to continue in heaven with God after our physical death one day. May our spirit, soul and body till then be entirely sanctified by the Holy Spirit and be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (2 Thess 5:23-24). God is faithful and He will sanctify us till the end of our lives on earth. Amen!
God's timeless Word reveals His plan for humanity and His intentions for marriage and sexuality (Heb 13:4). While Scripture teaches that homosexual acts are sinful (Lev 20:13), these Bible verses aren't about condemning homosexuals, gays, lesbians, or transgender people but rather it is intended to condemn sin and free the sinners from the clutches of sin's penalty, power and presence (Rom 8:3). Rather, be saved from sin freely in Christ Jesus and read God's loving warning and offer of grace for those who have strayed from His will for sex (Acts 2:40; 2 Tim 2:22, 21). We live in a fallen world with a fallen nature (1 John 2:1), but in Christ (1 John 2:2), we can be new creations and choose the new life instead of the old and retrain ourselves in the new behavior of Christ by choosing to stop sinning and starting to concentrate to learn new righteous behavior and skills which will make us live pleasing to God by His grace (2 Cor 5:17; 1 Cor 15:33-34).
