Will We Be Able To Find A Hard Copy Of The Bible In Heaven Or Even For That Matter A Soft Copy?
Question: Is there any evidence that a hard copy of the Bible will be present in heaven? Is not the Word of God honored more than God's name by Him, then there must be a hard Copy of the Bible present in heaven? In short, will we be able to find a hard copy of the Bible in Heaven or even a soft copy of it? Does the Bible state that heaven contains a copy or version of the Bible? What do you think about this issue. Please explain with Scriptures.
Answer: Greetings in Jesus wonderful name!
What is the Bible?
It is the Christian and Jewish Scriptures, Christian Books written by apostles of Jesus Christ, Jewish Books written by Moses and prophets. The Jewish scriptures, consisting of the Torah or Law, the Prophets, and the Hagiographa or Writings which includes history books, wisdom books and psalms. Christian Books consisting of the Gospels, Christian History Book of the Acts of the apostles and both public letter written to the Churches called epistles and the same written to individuals and leaders too on a few occasions.
What does the Bible specifically say about the Scriptures and the collection of all the Scriptures in a single Book called the Bible?
Paul the one of the other founding apostle wrote one third of the entire New Testament said that, "16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work." (2 Tim 3:16-17).
Peter who was one of the twelve apostles of the Lamb and whom God inspired to write about the Scripture as founding apostle says, "19 And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts; 20 knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, 21 for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit." (2 Peter 1:19-21).
From the apostles words we see that Scriptures itself is inspired or God breathed by Him, it is not of any private human interpretation but a whole message from heaven that has been transmitted by the Spirit through holy men of God on earth and thus made profitable for the spiritual growth through teaching, correction or rebuke, instruction for righteousness to enter heaven, that we may follow it all to become complete for a heavenly life and also thoroughly equipped for ever good work on earth which God prepared beforehand to be done for the Glory of God (Eph 2:10; Titus 3:8).
Will we have a word for word copy of the Bible? Why not is my answer, as God has said in many areas of Scripture that word upon word, line upon line, here a little there a little (Isa 28:9-10), every word sent from heaven from God's mouth to the earth will not return back void to Him without fulfilling His intended purpose for which it was sent (Isa 55:11). Coherence of all Scripture from the first to the last and the foretelling of the events to come and the fulfillment of it in its time exactly as foretold points to the foreknowledge of God's being fulfilled according to His purpose from the beginning to the end points to the written Scripture present in heaven from before the foundation of the world (Isa 46:9-10; 48:3, 5; Matt 5:17-20; Luke 24:25-27). Bible is actually the book of the Lord, which God spoke and His Spirit has gathered them from the beginning of time which had started even before anything was created and came in to existence (Isa 34:16). The spoken Word of God was Jesus in his perfection in the form of God before he ever became a human in the flesh to fulfill the written word of God on earth as it is in heaven (Col 1:17; John 1:1, 18; Prov 8:22; Php 2:6-7; Josh 21:45). Right from the time of creation of all angels and humans, Jesus began to relate with them all through his pre-incarnate form and appearance (John 17:5). By doing so Jesus limited himself again and again from his glory to reveal himself in various form of which the form as the commander of the army of the Lord and as the Angel of the Lord were the prominent ones to his people, as He was the God who was leading them day by day (Judg 2:4; Jos 5:13-15).
Once he fulfilled the Word of God for all humans to give aid to them through dying on the cross (Heb 2:16), Jesus settled himself in to the incarnate form of resurrected new creation human with a meta-physical body and at the same time regaining the glory which He had before the world was created through Him and for Him (Rev 1:17-18; Col 1:16), and thus Jesus became the embodiment of the Word of God in the flesh for ever and ever to lead all the humans to God and make Him dwell among them for His own glory (John 19:30; Matt 26:53-54, 56; 27:35; Rev 21:3). Forever the incarnation through virgin birth, life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ will forever be called as 'The Word of God' in fulfillment from the beginning to the end which He himself has dipped in his own blood and have clothed himself as a revelation of Himself to all humans (Rev 19:13).
In the Old Testament, a psalmist spoke about the Word of God written and set in heaven by saying, "Forever, O Lord, Your word is settled in heaven." (Psa 119:89). This does mean that a written copy of the Word of God was already present in heaven as God's blueprint for his creation to make it continue to be fulfilled forever, until all things gets fulfilled because the Word of God does not change forever and will by no means pass away without getting fulfilled (Matt 24:35). God and His Word are one, that is why God has honored His Word even above His name (Psa 138:2). The entirety of His written Word is the incarnation of that Word in the form of flesh in Christ Jesus (Psa 119:160). The Word of God in heaven will be both a hard copy and a soft copy, hard copy because humans will have a metaphysical body to honor the Word of God literally and soft copy too as the same human will also have a logical mind directed by the spiritual mind in the Spirit to hear and recite the Word of God according to each one's capacity to understand it, which they have inherited from days of their earth in which they constantly heard and meditated upon the Scripture which was given to them to make their spirit man grow in wisdom and favor with God and men (Rom 8:6, 9, 14, 16, 19; Php 3:21; Luke 24:39-43; 1:80; 2:40, 46-47, 52).
God fulfills on earth whatever is already set as a law in heaven to fulfill it, and that is why nothing new under the sun happens except that which has already happened in the mind of God (Job 38:33; Eccl 1:9). God is never surprised to see anything as new, because it is all in His plan that He has planned and have spoken about in the eternal Word of God in heaven already (Matt 18:18; 6:8).
Yes there is a book of life in which all the people who are saved is written in it (Rev 20:15; Luke 10:20; Php 4:3; Heb 12:22-23; Dan 12:1), and their names will not be erased by Jesus because they are overcomers and are destined to be clothed in clean white garments of the righteousness of Jesus Christ through their faith and thus will enter heaven (Rev 3:5; 21:27; 1 John 5:4). Then there is a book of destiny from which God will remove a person's name when they are judged for their sins which will bring a end to their earthly physical life (Exo 32:31-33; Psa 69:27-28). A persons destiny is written in this book of destiny before all things happen (Psa 139:16). Then a book of remembrance in which the good works done in God will be written in it while they had lived on earth in the fear of God which gets eternally rewarded by God (Mal 3:16; Psa 56:8). All the unsaved will never be written in the Book of life (Rev 13:8; 17:8; Rev 20:12). Then there is the books of works which will have recorded all the good and the evil of every human born on this planet earth from the beginning to the end, which will reveal all the filthy rags of all the worthless work of all humans during the White Throne Judgment which will happen somewhere with in the old outer heaven where angels had themselves presented before the Lord in the heavenlies from the beginning of time (Job 1:6; 2:1; Luke 10:17-19; Matt 25:41), as this judgment is the one and only time the eternal judgment will happen for the unsaved and also exclusively for the unsaved to let them know that they deserve the just condemnation before they are forever discarded in to hell fire (Rev 20:12; Isa 64:6; Rev 20:14-15).
Having told all the books that are present in heaven that will be referred in their own time, the Book of all books which is the Word of God, will be in the midst of all other books because the whole blue print of entire universe runs on the basis of the Word of God (Gen 1:1-3; Rev 5:5; 22:18-19). Therefore the Word of God which is the Scripture and the Bible will be honored the most, and will be present in the highest place of regard and honor in heaven forever. It is already secure in the heavens in its entirety which made Jesus boldly say that even if heaven and earth will pass away, His words that have been spoken by Him will never pass away forever and ever which we have already seen in details (Matt 24:35). If the copy of the words spoken as the Word of God on earth is not present in heaven, on what basis in the future can we really come to know in heaven that a particular promise of Jesus has been fulfilled or not?
Or in other words, how can we be sure that the word of God which is the Scripture will be in the midst of all the books of heaven?
Because Jesus Himself said to the unsaved religious Israelites, that the Moses [i.e. the first five books of the Bible written by Moses] which you trust will accuse and condemn you of your sins, which shows the presence of the Word of God in the books of heaven (John 5:45). Then Jesus further said to the unsaved people who turned their ear off to his words, that his very words spoken to them will judge them in the last day which again shows the Presence of the Bible in heaven among the books both in soft and hard copy (John 12:48).
Most of the prophets ate the scrolls given to them from heaven where God lives, which again shows us that the prophets prophesied and breathed out of them only what was already written in the scrolls of heaven, as the Bible was already present in heaven with God before it was spoken and written by the prophets on earth (Jer 15:16; 1:9; Ezek 3:2, 4).
In the Old Testament the very tangible Presence of the Glory of God resided over the Ark of the covenant which was kept in the most Holy place. Inside the Ark was kept the tablet of God's law, the miraculous manna and Aaron's rod which were present in it (Heb 9:7, 4-5; 1 Ki 8:9; 2 Ch 5:10). Even when all other things were later not there, the law of God remained there which shows that God has enthroned himself above his written and spoken Word, indicating to us that there is nothing that God honors more than His Word. And also the earthly tabernacle was entirely based on the blueprint of the heavenly tabernacle that was already present in heaven (Heb 8:5), which again shows to us that the law of God in written form was already present in heaven of which the earthly tabernacle became a shadow, a replica and a copy of the original present in heaven.
Praise the Lord for the Word of God that in its entirety has been given to us in our hands as a Old Testament prophecy and fulfilled in Christ Jesus to be explained by the apostles as prophecy fulfilled in the New Testament for us to keep, and further prophesy has been added and revealed to us until the end of the world for further fulfillment of it all in the soon coming future for the Glory of God. Thus as we have with us the Word of God in our hands, God expects us to overcome Satan by the blood of Jesus and the word of our testimony which acts as the spoken Rhema word out of the written Logos Word, which the Spirit of God uses as the weapon of the sword to drive out the devil and defeat his lies on earth so that it can be revered in obedience like it is in heaven and bring Glory to God (Rev 12:11; Matt 4:4, 7, 10; Eph 6:17; Matt 6:10; Neh 8:5; Acts 19:20). Hallelujah!
If we could simply record an incident on the camera or a speech in the recorder with our limited wisdom that we have been given by God and spread it so fast as possible on earth for all to hear and honor us for what we have spoken on earth or for our talents, how much more God can do it in a better way in heaven whether to have a hard copy of the Bible or the soft copy for His own glory and spread it in heaven and earth to be glorified forever and ever through his children, who in fear and reverence for God keep the Word in their lives to become a living epistle for Him through their obedience to it (2 Cor 3:2-3).
Now we see dimly our future through the Word of God in faith, hope and love in our limited understanding of it (Rom 8:25; Heb 11:1; 1 John 4:21), but when we enter in to heaven we will see the Word of God alive in Christ Jesus face to face, which means once we want to access anything from the Word of God, the next moment it will be in our mind having retrieved fully from the soft copy stored in the neural network cloud of heaven through the Spirit of God who holds the full mind of God to reveal to us his children (1 Cor 13:12-13; 1 Cor 2:11-12). We will come to know in perfect knowledge everything and everyone in heaven as we are know by them and God in heaven (1 Cor 13:8). And also the soft copy of the Word of God will be as easily accessible directly to our mind when ever we need it, and also the hard copy of it will be kept as scrolls under the throne of God on which God himself will be seated in honor to reveal how the whole Kingdom operation runs from His Throne in heaven through the Word of God which has the highest honor in His sight and only next comes the great name of God.
Nothing is impossible with God!
Glory to God!
Much Blessings....
