I Love One Girl, Is It God's Will For Me To Marry Her?
Question : I am doing ministry in Hyderabad with team. Please pray for me and family. I love one girl she is also doing ministry. Is it God's will or not for me to proceed, I don't know please pray for me. How can I find God's will in my story ???
Answer : Yes I will be praying for you and your family dear Brother. To love a girl is not wrong, but it is wrong to do it before marriage. The Bible says, "Do not stir up nor awaken love until it pleases." which in other words means, "...Don't excite love, don't stir it up, until the time is ripe--and you're ready." (Sos 2:7, MSG). A person is fit to arouse romatic and intimate love which in Greek is Eros, only within marriage. This is the exact God appointed time for a person to love someone deeply, intimately and physically.
Once you give in to emotional intimacy before you seek the Lord because of a soulish influence over your spiritual mind, the difference between the perfect will of God and permissive will of God will become more and more blurred as times goes by. When you have already decided internally with in your soul mind influenced by your emotion and then go to God just to get permission from Him, you will unknowingly and desirously expect God's answer to be a yes. God will let you go your own way. The way to find the perfect will of God is to abandon yourself unconditionally in to the hands of God and agree to do whatever He says you to do, whether what He says is liked by you in your soul mind or not (Rom 12:1-2). God will keep you in perfect peace when you are giving your emotional life to God and allow Him to rule over your entire life through prayer (Php 4:6-7). The peace of God within your spirit-man that passes your soulish understanding will keep your heart and mind in the heavenly knowledge that you are walking in the perfect will of God for your life. The perfect will of God is a moment to moment knowing and then proving (Php 3:8, 10; Rom 12:2). One should be desperate to know God's perfect will through loving Him and living for Him more than any other thing in his life.
Through seeking God sincerely with your whole heart, it is better to confirm first whether it is the will of God to marry this girl and then marry the girl if it is the will of God. Then love her with your whole heart the rest of your life (Eph 5:25). When you do not give in to your emotion and do the work of God wholeheartedly before marriage, you are doing the perfect will of God (1 Cor 7:35). If you feel a urge to go forward and marry to keep yourself from sexual immorality, you have not done anything wrong but have fulfilled the basic will of God (1 Cor 7:1-2). The one who walks in the basic will of God will not be greatly and completely blessed as the one who walks in the perfect will of God (Rom 12:2). If any believer cannot exercise self control until the timing of the perfect will of God, it is better to marry another believer and fulfill the basic will of God than to burn with passion and give in to temptation which will destroy God's blessing over their lives (1 Cor 7:9, 39; 2 Cor 6:14). If you can wait for God's perfect will of God, I encourage you to wait until God gives you the girl that He has in his heart for you (1 Cor 7:37). Remember God is the one who first saw the need for a helper for Adam and then brought Eve to him in His perfect timing (Gen 2:20-25). Keep seeking the face of the Lord sincerely and I believe that you will be led exactly in the center of the will of God for your life (Jer 29:13-14). It is worth all your effort to seek the Lord and wait until you find His perfect will, because His favor over you and your family will last for a lifetime and even eternity ahead (Isa 45:19; Psa 30:5).
