Can We Find The Will Of God Through Open Doors?
Answer : Some times even we can be tested by God through open doors placed before us, so that God can know whether we will presumptuously go ahead to do our own will or ask God and wait for Him to confirm His will (Prov 1:29-33). Open doors are in itself cannot always be the will of God (Jos 9:14), but if we have waited for God to act by faith and know by conviction that we are walking in the will of God (Prov 20:27; Rom 8:16; 1 Thess 1:5), then open doors can be a confirmation of what God has already spoken to us. To know the will of God we need to give our bodies as a living sacrifice to the Lord and renew our mind with the word of God by obeying it to the level we already know (Rom 12:2; John 7:17), or in other words by dying to our will by denying its impulses (Luke 9:23-24), we must choose to wait on God and expect God to speak to us through His Word and finally allow God to act on behalf of us to fulfill it in His time (Isa 30:18). By doing it, the will of God will unfold in our lives progressively. Thus open doors can be a confirmation of the will of God, but in itself cannot be a way to know the will of God. Much Blessings....
