Question : What is your take on Big Bang Theory?
Answer : Greetings in Jesus wonderful name! I will always only believe as much as the Bible the word of God reveals to me which is the only truth, and I will not choose to dare go beyond it which can easily trip not only me but all of us in to deception and lack of power in our lives (John 17:17; Matt 15:6). If we get tossed to and fro with every wind of doctrine then we do not actually know Scripture rightly nor will be able to able to experience the transforming power and demonstrating power of the Word of God (Matt 22:29, Mark 12:24; Eph 4:14).
If we want to become a perfect man flowing in the fullness of Christ attaining to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God in our soul just like the mind of Christ we have already within our spirit man (Eph 4:13; 1 Cor 2:16), then we should have and hold the right doctrine from the word of God by rightly dividing the Word of truth and cutting it in the right way to speak the truth in love and become blessed to be a blessing to many (2 Tim 2:15; Eph 4:15).
The Big Bang Theory in our times people of the world consider it as the leading explanation about how the universe began and many Christians too without thinking gulp this and start to live in unbelief which works within them against the power of God which must rule them in every area of their lives (1 Cor 2:4-5). At its simplest, it talks about the universe as we know it starting with a small singularity, then inflating over the next 13.8 billion years to become the cosmos that we know today. In other words, Big Bang Theory states that the universe started with one small atom and because of undergoing fission, it divided up and multiplied more and more to create a big bang after which the universe out of a black hole came in to existence. Big Bang gets away and manages to avoid being trapped inside a black hole of its own making because it says that it is expanding rapidly near the beginning and the rate of expansion is slowing down. Still it has so much to answer why it has not become flat but curvy and sphere, and all the planets which have got banged out have got lined up in a particular line. For each planet and moon rotates to rotate about its axis, and that the paths of the orbit of each planet and moon are drawn invisibly in such a way that it never crosses one another's path to bang again out like that Big Bang that is believed by the world. A right thinking mind cannot accommodate such a big nonsense theory because so much has to be assumed to make the theory work that it cannot exist as a working model and it can only be a so called novel theory on paper.
I do not believe the Big Bang Theory for the following reasons from the Bible but believe in the 6 day creation of the whole world and a small gap between the beginning God created the heavens and earth, and the beginning of the recreation of the chaotic world due to rebellion of Satan and his evil demons (Gen 1:1, 2, 3):
1) CHAOS IN THE BEGINNING WAS NOT BIG BANG : God says that He created the earth to be inhabited by humans and it is not without purpose (Isa 45:18). We know that in the beginning all angels along with Satan rejoiced with God to see the creation of the heavens and the earth (Gen 1:1). How do we know that for sure? Because the Word of God reveals that when he put the foundations of the earth and laid its cornerstone all was well, "“4 Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? ...5 Who determined its measurements?... Or who stretched the line upon it? 6 To what were its foundations fastened? Or who laid its cornerstone, 7 When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?" (Job 38:4-6). But then we know that Satan became proud and wanted to be like God and took almost two third of the angels to form a rebellious kingdom (Isa 14:13-17; Ezek 28:1-5, 12-13, 14-15, 16-17, 18-19), then God threw him along with those one third of angels and they all fell to the earth (Rev 12:3, 9, 4). Once they fell they made the beautiful earth and the heavens to become dark and chaotic because of being jealous against God who had planned humans to be created and wanted these angels to serve them on earth (Gen 1:2; Heb 1:14). Then we know that God doesn't wait too much of time as He is no powerless person to bring all rebellion in to submission, He declares the end from the beginning which shows that He was not taken by surprise of the rebellion of Satan but rather allowed it to happen because He planned Jesus to come and redeem the humans who were going to fall after His creation of the earth because of Satan (1 Peter 1:20; Eph 1:4; Rev 13:8; Isa 46:9-10, 11). It was God's pleasure to continue in his re-creation of the whole earth and bring humans in His own image and let them rule over the earth which He was going to create. So I believe that God in His own pre-appointed time for the re-creation of the earth He started to speak His life giving words to create and the rest has become his-story (Eccl 3:11; Gen 1:3-31). Thus I believe there was no big gap in between Gen Chapter Verse 1 and 3 except some limited small gap of time which may be some days or years after which God continued with His plan of re-creation. So there is no way for thousands or millions or billions of years to be added in unbelief in between Gen 1:1 and Gen 1:3 like some Christians assume, to say like that makes our God to become less than what He is actually which is omnipresent, omnipotent and omniscient.
So most of the Big-Bang proponents are those who believe that there were chaos for thousands, millions or even billions of years of untold time in between Genesis Chapter 1 Verse 1 and Verse 3 (Gen 1:2). They believe that the chaos that God describes was the Big Bang out of which God created a earth that He had planned before. To such people God is asking, "Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?" (Jer 32:27). God doesn't have to do a big bang nonsense to bring a superb and beautiful earth, but all was needed was that He should speak the creative words for all to come in to existence. That only He did and all world came in to existence supernaturally.
2) OUT OF NOTHING ALL THINGS CAME IN TO EXISTENCE : God did not start with a atom and fissioned it to increase and increase until it came to the size of the present earth. He doesn't need to do such a thing when He can speak and bring all things in to existence. Here is what Bible clearly says about how God created things in the beginning, "By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible." (Heb 11:3). In other words, "God calls those things which do not exist as though they did" (Rom 4:17) and then by the power of the Word of His mouth He brings things in to existence and also keeps upholding it all intact by the power of His Word (Heb 1:3). So out of nothing God initially created the heavens and the earth (Gen 1:1) and when the chaos was brought in to the earth by Satan and his demonic minions, then soon after sometime immediately God recreated all things by the power of His spoken Word again (Gen 1:3-27).
3) THE GOD WHO RECREATES THE WORLD IN 6 DAYS NEVER USES BIG BANG : We know that God says in His word, "For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it." (Exo 20:11). So the Lord did not take so much of time for the earth to be recreated but did it all promptly in six days of six "evening and morning" which is 24 hours timeline (Gen 1:5). So there is no chance for the big bang to come in a gap to evolve for a period of time and then for God to speak the right words to recreate the chaotic earth.
4) GOD CREATED EARTH IN A CIRCULAR SHAPE TO DIVIDE DAY AND NIGHT : It was not by accident that we find earth in a circular shape, God says in the Book of Job, "He drew a circular horizon on the face of the waters, at the boundary of light and darkness." (Job 26:10). Then God says, "He stretches out the north over empty space; He hangs the earth on nothing." (Job 4:7). If we look in to it, the earth rotates so fast and perfect that if it rests on any object it could get slowed up and no one knows where a sudden shake will make the earth to end up, the perfect earth could end up in to a chaotic big bang if ever that happens. But God has stretched out the north over empty space and has hanged the earth on nothing and that itself says that big bang cannot bring order out of chaos rather it will work the opposite way only if God has not held the earth by the power of His Word. Exactly the way God has kept the earth and made it to rotate in such a way that on one side the Sun rises and at the other end Sun will set, while one half of the globe will have light the other half will be full of darkness, and God has separated it as evening and morning to divide it 12 hours each approximately for the earth to work perfectly under order without chaos.
5) STARS AND HEAVEN WERE CREATED AND SET WITH LIGHT AND ENERGY BY GOD : The Bible says, "6 By the word of the LORD the heavens were made, and all the host of them by the breath of His mouth. 9 For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast. " (Psa 33:6, 9). In other word when God created the stars, moon for the evening and the sun for the morning, God spoke and it was done, then He commanded and it stood fast in its orbit to shine for the earth. What a wonderful way God has created the hosts of heavens.
Big Bang theory makes a great mistake by saying and assuming elements beyond hydrogen and helium were formed after millions of years, also it says earth was formed long after the stars, when in fact God first made the earth in Gen 1:1 and then creates light on the first day in his re-creation to divide light from the darkness (Gen 1:3-5). The first day when God made light it was a light of all the sun, stars and moon which were all tied together in its first existence as a single source of light of all heavenly luminaries in one place, as the Hebrew word 'ore' suggest in Gen 1:3. Then only on the fourth day God took the light and divided in to lights (Gen 1:14), in Hebrew 'maw-ore' which means 'light or luminary chandelier' which God set and hung on its places to make it shine to the earth. First the greater light was hung for the day which was Sun, the lesser light for the night which was moon which reflected the Sun light in a lesser way like a mirror and then the stars also were hung in its place, which is the present place from which it all shines to the earth (Gen 1:15-19). The Big Bang also mumbles that sun was formed from older stars and stumbles away from the truth of Biblical creation which says that the sun, moon, and stars were formed together as one light of all luminaries and then were later divided and hung separately as a chandelier over the earth. While the Bible says plants were formed before the sun on day three (Gen 1:11-13), Big Bang says plants evolved after the sun. While the Bible says birds were created before reptiles and mammals (Gen 1:20-23, 24-25), Big Bang says birds evolved from reptiles. So the Bible proves the Big Bang as Big Humbug.
