Will God Save Someone Like Me?
Answer : Greetings to you in Jesus wonderful name! Yes I understand the desperation with which you are speaking, whether as evil as I am and what I have done, will God save me too?
Let us see what the Bible has to say, "For the Son of Man came to seek and save those who are lost." (Luke 19:10). If you feel that you have done so much despicable sins, completely worn out and feel so unworthy to stand before the Holy God of Heaven, Jesus says to you that He has come to save you from that lost condition to make you feel found in God.
If you are feeling so sin sick that you cannot carry on anymore in life, Jesus the eternal doctor who heals your spirit, soul and body says to you today, I have come to help you get healed of your sin-sickness. Trust me and take my word to take the tablet of the Word of God I will provide (Mark 2:17). Jesus says to you today, that He has come to this earth to lead sinners like you to repentance of which heaven sees and the whole of heaven rejoices (Luke 5:31; 15:7; 15:10). Jesus assures you that He will heal you of your sin-sickness.
The most direct invitation for you to get saved comes from God in John 3:16, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." In this above verse, "whoever believes in Him [i.e. Jesus]" you are included in that 'whoever' and the rest of God's promise assures you saying, "[i.e. you] should not perish but have everlasting life". In other words, God wants to save you desperately more than you are ever willing to get saved from sin. And He puts his integrity on the line, and based on that, assures you that if you believe Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior of your life, the rest of salvation of everlasting life with Him without perishing because of sin He will give to you. Praise the Lord!
It doesn't matter how you feel about yourself today, if you believe the Lord Jesus as your Savior, God will save you today. Throw away your feeling that comes and goes, but throw yourself on the promises of God and trust Him just as you are. You will be saved today according to God.
Here is one more promise from Jesus to you, "...the one who comes to Me [like you] I will by no means cast out." (John 6:37). What more you need? Jesus is saying, how much vile and wretched you are, it doesn't matter, come to me just as you are, I will receive you and will not throw you away for eternity ahead.
The Bible, "8 But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” 12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. 13 For “whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.” (Rom 10:8-13). In other words, God is saying, to get saved from sin is not billion miles away affair, but if you confess with your mouth Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that He has died for all your past, present and future sins, and rose again justified from the dead before God and thus justifying you in the process, your will become God's righteousness from that time onward and perfectly saved from sin by God. You will never ever will be put to shame in your life again because of sin as you have called upon Jesus to save you once and for all time from sin.
If you were found guilty of a serious crime and were condemned to death, and if offered, would you accept a free unconditional pardon?
Because of Christ's dying for us, that's what God offers us, and with it the gift of eternal life. All we need to do is to accept his pardon. Here's how to do this:
First: Confess. God's Word says, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins." (1 John 1:9).
Second: Repent. That is, we need to turn from sinful and selfish ways to follow God and his ways. Jesus said, "The Kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe." (Matt 4:17). That is, we need to turn from sinful and selfish ways to follow God and his ways.
Third: Believe. "Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved," declares the Word of God (Acts 16:31).
Fourth: Receive. God also said, "To all who received him [Christ], to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God." (John 1:12).
Admitting our sinfulness, believing that Jesus died for our sins, inviting him into our lives as Lord and Savior, and accepting God's forgiveness is what makes us real Christians.
The following prayer will help you do this:
"Dear God, I confess that I am a sinner and am sorry for all the wrongs that I have done. I believe that your Son, Jesus Christ, died on the cross for my sins. Please forgive me. I invite you, Jesus, to come into my heart and life as Lord and Savior. I commit and trust my life to you. Please give me the desire to be what you want me to be and to do what you want me to do. Thank you for dying for my sins, for your free pardon, for your gift of eternal life, and for hearing and answering my prayer. Amen."
Now God has heard your prayer that you have prayed from your heart to save you for sure. Now read your Bible daily asking the Holy Spirit to transform your life just like Jesus. Pray and have relationship with God daily as He has now become your Heavenly Father and will take care of your life. Go to a Evangelical or Pentecostal Spirit filled Church nearby and learn more from the Bible about Jesus, and how you can serve Him more and more all the days of your life. Praise God! Hallelujah!
Much Love and Blessings....
