Can You Please Write About All The Prayers Of The New Testament?
Answer: Greetings! There are a lot of passages in the New Testament that speaks Jesus as the model to imitate and how we are called by God to be conformed to His image on earth for which God has promised to reward us for eternity ahead (Rom 8:29; 1 Peter 2:21). We know how Jesus in his life prayed and prayed to God, so that as a normal man He could live an overcoming supernatural life of heaven on earth, and still continue as God without exercising His power as God in the flesh which is Emmanuel (Matt 1:23).
So seeing through the prayer life of Jesus and all the prayers of apostles and saints in the New Testament, we practically see how it is very important for us to develop the attitude of prayer for personally praying always at all times which is indispensable to bring heavenly answers to our prayers, especially in our end of end times where true faith is hard to find because of the world getting filled with deep darkness like never before.
I simply believe that we should surrender to God as though everything depends on Him and Him alone, but pray and work hard towards the purpose which God has for us in His will each and every day, as though everything depends on us. So there must be a right balance between our prayer and our faith which will only work together and bring a great reward for us now and for eternity.
Paul exhorts us to devote ourselves to prayer (Col 4:2) and to pray without ceasing (1 Thess 5:17). In reading the Bible, we see that prayer is saturated within God's Word. It impacts important events, interweaving with God's sovereign plan in history. The Bible refers to the word prayer or expresses a prayer in 61 of its 66 books, making close to 1,100 distinct references to and about prayer.
Remember saints, we cannot work for God without prayer, God will not work for us without our prayer. So prayer is vital and important to us as New Testament believers as like water is important to a fish for survival in its life. Having understood the importance of prayer, let us delve in to the actual references of all the prayers of the New Testament. God bless you!
