Re : Do Angels Have Wings?

Will There Be Only Adults In Heaven?

Question : Do angels have wings, to that I say, not necessarily. Jesus after His resurrection could move and travel to anywhere without wings. His angels can do the same. We could do the same too when we get there to heaven. In a Bible class, some people told me that they would like to have angel's image and glory, to that I told them, to be created in the image of God is superior. Thanks for the comprehensive and clear rendering about the wings of angels. I like the statement that angels cannot procreate among themselves or with humans. Is there an answer to the question, 'Are there babies or children in heaven?' I say no. We can see only adults in heaven. God bless your ministry richly and add to it power and much mounting of the Holy Spirit.

Answer : You are right we who are the sons of God by faith will need no wings to travel any where in universe after we will be resurrected in the Rapture
(Gal 3:26; 1 Thess 4:14-18). The word of God confirms that we will exactly have a metaphysical body like Jesus who is having a body of flesh and bones without blood in it after his resurrection (Luke 24:38-40; 1 John 3:2). Our natural earthly bodies are made of one blood in which our life resides (Acts17:26; Lev 17:11). Our glorious bodies will be made of the sustaining Spirit of God who will move in our being instead of blood in our glorious body (Psa 104:30, 29; Acts 17:28), thus confirming that now we are children of God in whom the seed of the word of God and Spirit sustains us supernaturally (John 1:12-14; 6:63; 3:6; 1 Peter 1:23). We will be able to go through physical objects without any effort supernaturally, for example even if the doors are locked in a house we can just enter in because of the meta physical nature of our glorious body (John 20:26). We who are God's children are restored with the exact image of God through the gospel that is much superior to the image of any angel in the entire universe (2 Cor 3:17-18; 4:4; Gen 1:26). Infact, angels intelsely desire to look in to the intricacy of the gospel of salvation that has given us the ability to become one with the Lord in the spirit and thus have intimate realtionship with Him like the Trinity have among themselves (1 Peter 1:12; 1 Cor 6:17; John 17:23). Angels cannot have a father son relationship with God as we have because they were not created in the image of God like us who are His sons by our faith and have inherited the very nature of God within us (Heb 2:16; 2 Peter 1:3-4). Though angels are loaded with more might and power than we are (2 Peter 2:11), they are not as blessed and privileged like we are to have intimacy with God. Praise the Lord!

I believe that even the babies who enter heaven will have a spiritually mature mind because the word of God says,
"For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known." (1 Cor 13:12). In other words, God knows all the babies in all the world who are aborted, who die prematurely and those who grow up to become children and then die in thousands of thousands on the street around the world. When they die they are not mature enough to know God as He knows them all, but when they see God face to face in heaven, the word of God promises that they will be reloaded with a supernatural refreshing knowledge of all things, that is to know everything about themselves and others as much as God know them and their background. Babies do have a spirit that can be loaded and renewed with spiritual maturity and understanding by God in such a way that "a little child shall [be able to] lead [even the wild animals]," in the coming kingdom of God (Isa 11:6). In that sense, all will be spiritually mature adults and no babies will be present in heaven. Even their size and stature may become big because think about the aborted babies on earth, if God restores their knowledge that itself is so great, but that is not enough for them because they can't walk in heaven like a rat sized children. Only a mature body will restore the dignity of these children who were murdered even before they were born on earth. They will be given a glorious body that will be of their best size if they have supposedly grown to be an adult on earth. The meaning of restoration is not just receiving a substitute that satisfies the heart, but the exact replacement of the original thing that has been lost because of the curse of sin on earth (Acts 3:21). Nothing is impossible with God who can make it happen easily (Luke 1:37). Thanks and Blessings....
