Giving Out A Pure Prophetic Word With Out Any Selfish Motive

Why Did God Speak To Me About Him?

Question : Greetings My name is Nyoshe. I am from Zimbabwe. Apostle please help me. In 2011 , God spoke to me about my friends name ...in a Loud Clear Voice. He said "Ebenezer, A special anointing for miracles, signs and wonders."

I didn't think much of it but we started dating in September 2012. Now my question is why would God tell me this about him and His purpose for him. We broke up 2 months ago cause his mum said God showed her 2 coffins, meaning we will die if we get married.

Please advise me. Kind Regards.

Answer : Greetings to you in Jesus wonderful name! I believe that God would have shared something to you to share to this boy as he is your friend. It might have been a prophetic word that God wanted you to share with this boy. Other than that, there are chances that God might have showed this and given this information so that you might seek Him for more clarity. But directly to get involved in a relationship before God confirms a particular thing will always lead someone in to fleshly manifestation. So that might have happened because of the young age where easy infatuation is a high possibility to any spiritual person who is not on guard. Please look in to the Scripture to see what it says regarding these things, "Flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart." (2 Tim 2:22, NKJV).

We should lead our lives in a way above all youthful reproach, and keep our hearts pure so that the Lord might be able to fulfill His will and bring the right marriage partner that He has chosen for each one of us. It is too risky for you to get in to relationship and then try to know for sure whether it is God or your own decision.

As for Ebenezer your friend, God has given a clear prophetic word to pass on through you to say, "Ebenezer, [You have] A special anointing for miracles, signs and wonders." God would have told you about this, to check whether you will faithfully deliver His Word as His maid servant. Again his Mum telling you that she sees two coffins might be a real warning that God might has given you, if you have indulged in your fleshly ways to be unfaithful to pass on the word from the Lord purely out of a good godly motive to bless him and stay away further from him instead of trying to use him for yourself.

I would better say, be God's true and faithful prophetic maid servant. Always give out a prophetic word without mingling it with selfish motives and thus get in to fleshly ways.

God loves you individually and I believe that His plans for your life is great and unimaginable to fully comprehend. Wait on the Lord for knowing about your future life partner, and then you will get someone hand picked for you by God who will help you fulfill God's purpose for your life, and will also be a great blessing to you and the ministry that God has for you ahead.

Sometimes we feel that God has let us down because He does not provide an immediate answer to a prayer. Often our attitude becomes, “Answer me speedily, O Lord; my spirit fails!” (Ps. 143:7). We should remember that God is more interested in building faith, patience, character which will stay with us for eternity rather than answering our prayer for our own temporal comfort which perishes over time (James 1:2-4). Wait on the Lord!

David wrote, “Wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart” (Ps. 27:14). And in another psalm he encourages us with these words, “I waited patiently for the Lord; and He inclined to me, and heard my cry. He . . . set my feet upon a rock, and established my steps” (40:1-2).

As you wait for the Lord, I believe you will forget all the old hiccups and will become like David, a person after God's own heart by waiting on the Lord (Acts 13:22; see 1 Sam. 13:14). You have to settle down!

Habakkuk 2:2 says, “I will wait to see what the LORD says and how he will answer” (NLT). This means stay put and be still until you hear from God what He has to say regarding every single thing that He has for you. Hurry is the biggest worry that brings death to prayer and lack of answer from God to be misled in to fleshly self pleasing life rather than be led in to a God pleasing life that glorifies God.

God always speaks to people who take the time to listen. Pray to God regarding these things consistently over a period of time. Then immerse yourself in the Word of God and let God speak to you through His still small voice within you through His Word.

I hope you got the point and believe that you will become a great blessing to your family and many in the coming days as you seek to please God through your life.

Much Blessings.....
