Can You Please Give Me A Outline Of What The Fivefold Ministry Represents?

Why God Has Separated The Ministry In To Five Dominant Branches?

Question: Can you please give me a outline of what the five-fold ministry represents? Why God has separated the ministry in to five dominant branches? Do they have different and unique functions, anointings, manifestations, missions and commissions?

Answer: Greetings! Yes there are different and unique functions, anointings, manifestations, missions and commissions, that is why God has separated these ministries in to five dominant branches.

Here are how God has divided the ministries in to five offices in the New Testament, "11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ." (Eph 4:11-12).

The following are the hierarchy of spiritual power in which God has placed each ministry in the body of Christ, "28 And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, [after that miracles, then gifts of healings (i.e. fourth evangelists)], [helps, administrations, varieties of tongues (i.e. fifth pastors)].]" (1 Cor 12:28).

So according to apostle Paul, "5 There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. 6 And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all." (1 Cor 12:5-6). This shows that each ministries in the five-fold has tangible and unique differences and are supported with diversities of activities that has dominant gifts that supports a particular way of operation to propagate the same Gospel of Jesus Christ our Lord.

THE FIVE FOLD MINISTRY BY NATURE

1. Apostle - Governs
2. Prophet - Guides
3. Evangelist - Gathers
4. Pastor - Guards
5. Teacher - Grounds

The Church NOW and Today needs the full function and operation of the full fivefold in accordance with the WORD.

May We identify and encourage those whom God has given the grace and anointing for such.

THE FIVE FOLD MINISTRY BY GIFTS

1. The Apostle - Leads
2. The Prophet - Speaks
3. The Teacher - Equips
4. The Evangelist - Proclaims
5. The Pastor - Cares

We need all for our time like never before. Divinely called, appointed and anointed fivefold Ministers.

THE FIVE FOLD MINISTRY BY MISSION

1. Apostle - Visionary Strategist
2. Prophet - Spiritual Advisor
3. Teacher - Logical Thinker/Implementer
4. Evangelist - Persuasive Communicator
5. Pastor - Human Resource Counselor

The Gifts and ministry of the Holy Spirit work in manifold ways and is not limited to our one approach kind of ministry. The Bible talks about the seven spirits yet refers to one and the same Spirit manifesting His completeness in different ways.

Some are open to revelation but not learning or teaching. The humble is open to learning, education and revelation.

THE FIVE FOLD MINISTRY BY VISION

1. Apostle - Long-Sight
2. Prophet - Foresight
3. Evangelist - Hindsight
4. Teacher - Insight
5. Pastor - Oversight

VISION means to SEE. All those in the five-fold ministry must have a vision or see something in the area of their ministries. Spiritual sight is the ability to see by revelation what needs to be done when and how. We all need vision to do His work effectively.

THE FIVE FOLD MINISTRY BY CHARACTER

1. Apostle - Mission
2. Prophet - Vision
3. Evangelist - Commission
4. Pastor - Compassion
5. Teacher - Passion

We need a sense of Mission and Commission. We need a sense of vision and passion with Compassion to do effectively the task before us. We all need the other, to learn from each other.

Any person may carry the calling of more than one office, but each one who has been called in to the five-fold ministries will at least have one ministry office.

For example Jesus and Paul carried all the five-fold offices at various times of their lives (Luke 4:18; 2 Tim 1:11; Acts 13:1; 17:18; 20:31). But Philip was an evangelist and carried only one such office (Acts 8:35; 21:8). God has separated the ministries and its functions in to five different dominant offices in order to reduce the load upon each person and distribute the gifts according to each one's availability, so that humbly they can receive grace and stay grounded in humility which always makes God to give more grace to them (1 Pet 5:5-6; Jam 4:2; Matt 25:20-21, 22-23; Exo 18:25-26; Num 11:25).

For the Church to rise up and become a glorious Church, it needs to have all the five-fold offices working together for the Glory of God. This is true apostolic Church of the end time.

Much Blessings...
