Who Are The Sons Of God And The Nephilim?

Question : Who are the "sons of God" and the Nephilim in Genesis 6:4? If the Nephilim were a race of giants, how could they appear both before and after the Flood, which destroyed everyone except Noah and his family? Has There Been An Human-Angel Hybrid That Challenged God?
Answer : Greetings to you in Jesus name! This is a question that has arisen again and again even in our generation like in all previous generations because people are not ready to take in what the Word of God says about this matter. They keep speculating certain things and circulate them within the Christian circle through the Internet that causes more confusion in the mind of people. I have seen certain ministers of God reading these error on the net, and without even understanding it in Biblical context they have even started propagating it as a doctrine to bring confusion and fear in the heart of the people of God around the world. I give below twenty reasons after which you can know for sure that such a error cannot be entertained because it cannot stand the test of truth.
TWENTY REASON WHY THERE CANNOT BE ANY HUMAN-ANGEL HYBRID EXCEPT SONS OF ADAM
1) EXISTENCE OF NEPHILIM GIANTS BEFORE AND AFTER THE FLOOD : My first reason is based on the simple logic and the very question that you have asked. Here are the verses that you have referred, Genesis 6:1-4 says, "1 Now it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born to them, 2 that the sons of God saw the daughters of men, that they were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose. 3 And the LORD said, “My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, for he is indeed flesh; yet his days shall be one hundred and twenty years.” 4 There were giants on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown."
Genesis 7:23 says, "...So He destroyed all living things which were on the face of the ground: both man and cattle, creeping thing and bird of the air. They were destroyed from the earth. Only Noah and those who were with him in the ark remained alive."
Numbers 13:33 says, "...There we saw the giants (the descendants of Anak came from the giants); and we were like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight.”"
If as some people say that there were human-angel hybrid that came in to existence and that was the reason God completely wiped off all the human beings through a worldwide flood, why did God not do the same again after the flood when He found the same kind of giants at the time God sent the Israelites to conquer the Canaan land through Moses and Joshua?
If the Nephilim were a race of giants, how could they appear both before and after the Flood, which destroyed everyone except Noah and his family? No way this is possible. Did God then do injustice to one generation of Noah's time by judging the Nephilim giants of their time and leave the same giants who were found in Moses' generation to go scot free. The Bible says, "28 For the LORD loves justice, and does not forsake His saints; They are preserved forever, but the descendants of the wicked shall be cut off." (Psa 37:28). In other words, because God is a just God, though He might judge His saints rightly in His righteousness, He does not forsake them, instead preserves them forever by giving them salvation for eternity. This is what happened to the saints of Noah's time who believed God but were walking a fleshly lives to take the daughters of men who were the descendants of Cain who was initially a nomadic wandering tribe who settled himself away from the men of God who came through Adam-Seth line according to the context because of fear of extinction that came as a result of murdering Abel who ought to have been the father of all saints of faith during that time (Gen 4:16-26; 5:1-32).
Then, why should God give the lineage of Cain without reason before the Chapter 5 where the lineage of Adam-Seth faith line are described, if it were not expected of us from God to get the context of Genesis Chapter 6 and understand it to see that a mingling of faith and flesh happens in Genesis Chapter 6? We come to know through the New Testament writers that God judged these sons of God to die through the flood of Noah's days because they mingled themselves with the daughters of men to produce offspring who were violent to fight and kill each other instead of walking in the love of God, therefore because they believed God and yet their thinking and behavior were after the flesh completely, God judged them in the flesh but saved them in their spirit to make them live for eternity through sending Jesus later to make their captivity free from Hades prison under the earth (1 Peter 3:18-20; 4:6; 1 Cor 5:5). Recalling the word Nephilim that is related to the verb series “to fall” in Hebrew, we deduce that the offspring from these unions even though were saved by faith, they had actually fallen away from the true faith of their God (1 Cor 7:14), and thus were termed Nephilim because of the falling away. In the last days, a falling away will come first within the Church from the true faith and then the flood of God's wrath will come upon all those in the world, among whom those who will not be taken in Rapture of the Church because of lack of salvation by faith will have to face the Tribulation of the end along with unbeliever to die as a Tribulation-Saint by faith and be purified for salvation (2 Thess 2:3-4; Eph 2:8-9; Rev 3:20; 13:10; 14:12-13).
2) SPIRITUAL AND NOT PHYSICAL CORRUPTION : The second reason God killed all the people during Noah's time was not a physical corruption that happened because of Angels having sex with human women who were extremely beautiful to produce Human-Angel hybrid as people falsely speculate, but in God own words it was a spiritual corruption in the mind of men who were believing God for salvation of their souls, but chose the beautiful women of Cain's line who were without faith, and therefore have got corrupted in their mind and started walking in the flesh. This was the real reason God decided to completely destroy the earth with His flood in Noah's days (Gen 6:5).
3) FLESHLY AND EMPTY RELIGIOUS LIFE WITHOUT FAITH : Then the context of the Scripture in the Chapter 6 of Genesis is "When men began to multiply on the face of the earth" (Gen 6:1), and in that context the "sons of God" in Gen 6:2 points to their error of humans with the fallen nature in which they "they took wives [note the plurality which insists that they promiscuously married against their faith that God gave them, by giving in to their lust of their eyes which saw beauty rather than notice the bad moral Character within those beautiful women (1 Peter 3:4-5)]" and also "they chose" personally out of their flesh rather than letting God guide them in these important matters of life which God was very concerned about. As a result of making the above two mistakes, they who were worshiping God through faith in the sacrificial system of shedding animals blood to cover their sins and thus draw near to God which was taught to Adam and Eve after the fall in to sin by God (Gen 3:21), were led in to fleshly life and was made to follow useless religious ritual which gave them freedom to indulge in the fleshly wickedness and violence, because it embraced religion without faith which God hated, which was first embraced by Cain and his lineage who were sent out of His Presence to make them realize their need for God (Gen 4:11-16). So human-angel hybrid error in doctrine has nothing to do with the faith life or religious life of humans which mattered to God.
4) NOAH'S FAITH LIFE CONTRASTED WITH MEN WITHOUT IT : Then God contrasts all the wicked men along with the sons of God whose thinking were also evil all the time (Gen 6:5, 7), with one man whose name is Noah who was just like them in all human personality except that he along with his family were walking in faith with God (Gen 6:7-8). If the human gene pool have got mixed with angelic genes to produce gaints who have completely gone against God's will for human size, gene and existence, then God would not be able to contrast Noah who lived by faith apart from those sons of God who started living as they chose in having multiple wives from women who did not have faith at all. This proves that there was no Human-Angel hybrid that made God to judge the earth, but the mixture of faith people with the daughters of Cain who did not have faith at all around the earth that made God judge the earth.
5) IMPORTED CONTEXT FROM THE BOOK OF JOB : When ever someone takes a imported context for the word "sons of God" from Job 1:6 and imposes it on the "sons of God" in Genesis 6:2 to say that they were angels, actually they are committing a serious error in Biblical interpretation and are not doing justice to the actual context which this verse reveals. Whenever we take a context for a verse we should always look to the preceding chapters before that chapter in which the verse are present, and also the succeeding ones first to see what kind of information are given in those Chapters for us to decide through comparison and derivation to find what that context of the verse has.
If we apply that rule, we come to find that the Book of Job 1:6 speaks about the angels as the sons of God because it was a heavenly setting from which we derive the context, while Gen 6:2 speaks about the earthly humans who had faith in God as the sons of God because it was a earthly setting from which we derive the context. We see the Chapters 4 and 5 of Genesis differentiates and separates normal humans in two ways, one group had faith in God and the other group were driven out of God's Presence because they had no faith (Heb 11:6). From that setting of separation, Genesis Chapter 6 speaks about "sons of God saw the daughters of men", what does this mean when we see literally and compare with the context we have from the two previous chapters, we have a classical meaning of the line of Cain which had no faith but had external beauties in their line, and the sons of God who were very blessed by God in the line of Seth who had great faith but normal exterior look got mixed with each other.
The result was a very disastrous violent life of wickedness that began to fill the earth. So when Gen 6:4 says, "There were giants on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown," it actually convey the giants were nobody other than the mighty men of renown who were violent, gigantic and always ready to fight because of walking in the impulse of their sinful nature, this is why the very next verse conveys that this is the right context through revealing that the "Lord saw the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually" (Gen 6:5), which proves that God did not want to destroy the earth because of Human-Angel hybrid giants who got bred on earth outside of His will, but because the intent of the heart of men on earth have got filled with violence and perversion which began to manifest in their lifestyle, God decided to completely destroy them who were making the whole earth to become more and more of a living hell.
6) ANGELS DOES NOT HAVE THE ABILITY TO PROCREATE LIKE HUMANS : Jesus Himself has told in Matthew 22:30, “For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels [which includes fallen and the good angels (Job 1:6,12;1 Samuel 19:9;1 Kings 22:19-23;Luke 1:19)] of God in heaven.” In other words, Jesus has plainly said angels cannot procreate by having intercourse like humans. What more evidence we need, to say that the Sons of God were just human beings in Noah’s time and not Human-angel hybrid.
7) JESUS RESURRECTION BODY WAS THE FIRST GLORIOUS TERRESTRIAL AND CELESTIAL BODY : After Jesus rose up from the dead, His body was quickened by the Holy Spirit to become the first terrestrial and celestial body combined in one which can be used both in heaven and earth without any physical limitation of space and time (Rom 8:11). In other words, even when the door of the room in which the disciples hid themselves were locked tight because of fear of the religious Jews who wanted to kill them, still Jesus came in to their room because of His glorious new meta-physical body (John 20:26). This made some of Jesus' disciples to doubt whether they have seen a spirit who is trying to harass them as it did usually to many people in their times, therefore they were deeply troubled as doubts began to arise in their heart (Luke 24:37). Jesus beautifully replied to them, "Behold My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself. Handle Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see I have.” (Luke 24:39). In other words, if any one says that a human-angel hybrid was present before Noah's flood, they are contesting with Jesus words and are saying it to be false. Jesus cannot be false because He claimed Himself as the embodiment of truth and there cannot be even a dot of lie in Him, or what He has said Himself is either true or totally a lie (John 14:6). We who know and believe Jesus as our Lord and Savior cannot entertain the false idea of human-angel hybrid beings anytime in any generation being present because it will make Jesus to become a liar who has lied when He is actually the truth who is true within our hearts and lives. As angels are spirit beings and have no physical body, no angel spirit according to Jesus can ever have flesh and bones like the first glorious human body of Jesus, which also directly shows that unlike the first Adam's nature of flesh and blood that cannot inherit the kingdom of God because of sin in it, the body of Jesus inherited the very Kingdom of His Father within him in embodiment as he had no sin nature in it and thus became the birthing father of all the spirits of the new race created without sin in God's own likeness after the first Adam fell in to sin and spoiled that sacred image (1 Cor 15:50). And so no angels can ever have intercourse with a human women to produce any so called human-angel hybrid because it stands opposite to what Jesus has told about Himself after the resurrection. If fallen angels or demons, which are spirit, could materialize, then this calls into question the entire resurrection of Christ.
8) THERE ARE TERRESTRIAL BODIES AND CELESTIAL BODIES, BOTH ARE SEPARATE UNTIL NOW TILL RAPTURE: We know that all of us believers will one day be like Jesus with a meta-physical glorious spiritual body when He comes to rapture us and take us away to our Father's home (1 John 3:2; 1 Cor 15:44; Acts 1:9-11; John 14:2-3). But until that happens, only two categories were shown to be there by the great apostle Paul in 1 Cor 15:40 which says, "There are also celestial bodies and terrestrial bodies; but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another." In other words, both celestial glory and terrestrial glory cannot mix together, until Jesus raises up all the believers to have a spiritual body just like him which can manoeuvre and travel without any limitation in both the heavenly and earthly realm. So to say that there was a giant human-angelic hybrid is to go beyond the revealed truth to establish our faith in error which will them become false faith.
9) GOD WAS IN CONTROL DURING NOAH'S TIME AND WAS NOT CAUGHT BY SURPRISE : Though God sometimes sends angels to look like humans at various times in the Bible, yet they were sent with concealed identity to fulfill His purpose at any specific time and place (Heb 13:2). Even angels food was supplied to Israelites in the desert by God supernaturally in Manna, but that can never prove that angel are physical beings (Psa 78:25). Instead it proves the supernatural power of God to make someone experience a particular thing at a particular time and place beyond natural explanation to reveal His miraculous power. Angels who were sent in a particular mission to convey God's message to humans and even to test them and provide evidence for some reality on earth and to execute God's judgment on the earth (Gen 18:2, 20-22, 33; 19:1, 5, 12-13, 15-16, 24-25), were always given the power to do that which God intended to do, and He cannot be taken by surprise because His is the story-line and He knows the end of things from the beginning (Isa 46:9-11). So to say that angels with whatever authority or power they were given by God, had done something against the will of God to contaminate the earth with human-angel hybrid beings, is in other words is like saying that this God who created all things and everything that is in the entire universe, was taken by surprise against His own will to see that the angels have produced a human-angel hybrid without His knowledge to later destroy them through a flood. This is also like saying that at a certain point of time God lost His control over His creation and therefore the angels made God a puppet for a time, after which God again regained control over His own earth. Pure baloney!!!! If this was the truth as like some people say, then God is not omniscient to know all things beforehand. But the Bible says that He is omniscient and knows all things even before it ever happens (Psa 139:4; 147:5; Job 28:24). From this we know such theories of human-angelic hybrid nephilim giants are actually false.
10) JESUS COULD NOT HAVE SAVED THE SONS OF GOD IF THEY WERE HUMAN-ANGELIC HYBRID : We know that Jesus went in to the prison where the disobedient sons of God were kept and preached salvation to them and took them with Him to heaven (1 Peter 3:18-20; 4:5-6; Eph 4:8-10). In the Book of Hebrews the writer says, "For indeed He [i.e. Jesus] does not give aid to angels, but He does give aid to the seed of Abraham [i.e. humans who believe]." (Heb 2:16). The above verse proves that the sons of God described in Gen 6:2, 4 were not human-angel hybrid but were pure humans who actually were sons of faith but were disobedient to God and have therefore been destroyed with unbelievers in the flood of Noah's time. Though they were destroyed physically in their bodies because of their sinful living during that time along with unbelievers, yet God justified them through Jesus in their spirit to take them to heaven after His death and resurrection because they were saved not by their works but rather by their faith which God had given them during that period of time (1 Peter 4:6, 17-18; Eph 2:8-9). Jesus would not have saved them if those sons of God who died in the flood were actually an human-angelic hybrid according to Heb 2:16, because He has chosen only those human believers in God who were considered by God as the children of Abraham to be saved in their spirit and thus make them live forever with Him (1 Cor 15:45-49; Gal 3:29, 26). The above truth proves the non existence of any human-angel hybrid at any time in the course of human existence.
11) ACCORDING TO GOD, SIN WAS THE REASON FOR DEATH THROUGH FLOOD TO ENTER HUMANS : Paul the apostle beautifully describes in Rom 5:12-14, "12 Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned— 13 (For until the law sin was in the world, but sin is not imputed when there is no law. 14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those who had not sinned according to the likeness of the transgression of Adam, who is a type of Him who was to come." In other words, in the above verses apostle Paul reveals that sin entered the whole world only through one man Adam, and then it spread to all men causing death from Adam right through to Moses' generation even to those whom God did not directly give commandment to keep like He did for Adam in the Garden of Eden before he fell in to sin. Naturally all men sinned as sin spread to all by embedding itself within human nature as fleshly descendants of Adam. Taking in to account the above verse, we see that the time of Noah's flood came due to increased practice of sin due to sinful corruption of humans thinking during that time which was right in the middle of the ages between Adam's and Moses's generation of people.
In these pre-diluvian times even though there was no specific law given by God for them to keep, yet God's law was actually written in their heart which prompted them, but when the voice of God's Spirit got rejected again and again by these men in their heart, immediately their heart began to get more and more darkened to the extent of spiritual blindness totally before they were all destroyed (Rom 1:20-21; 2:14-16). The more the darkness in all humans heart increased in Noah's generation, the more of hell earth became. And so God gave them enough freedom to choose to seek Him and find Him internally without taking them in to task for breaking any law, which they actually did not know it externally as God also did not demand from them before the law of Moses was given to follow it externally. So the external law of God came through Moses (John 1:17), but the law of the Spirit was there from the beginning of time (Rom 8:2). But in the pre-diluvian time, the Spirit of God was the only person who prompted within the heart of men to tell which is right from wrong based on their faith towards God (Gen 6:3), because of the mixture of the faith people with fleshly people, God gave these men one hundred and twenty year to turn to God or finally die by the world-wide deluge (Gen 25:7; 35:28; 6:8). The only person who was favored within that time was Noah who walked with God in faith along with His whole family (1 Peter 3:20). The above points we discussed from the above Scriptures clearly points out that God did not destroy the earth because of human-angel hybrid that began to increase against His will, but because of the disobedience of increased and continual sinful thinking that caused perverse and evil actions in humans who had faith within them but did not live it out because of constantly giving in to the pull of sin in their flesh within rather than to let the Spirit of God guide them in to godly and blessed living on earth as it is in heaven.
12) GOD GAVE THE GENEALOGY OF CAIN TO MAKE US NOTICE THAT THE DAUGHTERS OF MEN WAS THEIR UNGODLY BUT BEAUTIFUL DESCENDANTS : In Gen 4:16-24, God gave how the genealogy of Cain also increased on the earth to show us that they were the other separated men in other part of the earth who lived a ungodly life of violence and sin without God, so that when the Genealogy of godly sons of God who had faith within them is seen, they could be identified separately after that from Gen 4:25-26; 5:1-32 which ends with the Noah and his three sons. This proves that according to the context of the Scripture, that the "sons of God" were the men of faith who came through Seth and the "daughters of men" were the ungodly humans who came through Cain (Gen 6:2). The "daughters of men" when seen in context literally, they were the daughters of these ungodly men who were very beautiful outwardly and were used by these men to make a bridge to the sons of God who were very blessed in their lives because of God's favor over their lives (Luke 17:26-27). The violent men who were afraid to meet these godly line initially because of God's special protection and defense over them and appealed to God for their protection because of insecurity and fear within them, suddenly began to mingle within them freely through entering their lives through deceiving them through their beautiful women daughters (Gen 4:10-15, 24). The mark on Cain was God's special mercy to him to continue living on earth without being destroyed by the curse that was upon him because of his folly and sinful life (Gen 6:14-15). Satan has always used ungodly beautiful women to tempt and make the sons of God by faith to fall in to sin more and more by appealing to them through their base nature of the fallen flesh, in order to contaminate the mind of the faith line who were walking closely with God and then pull them down to make them behave like those who were without faith so that God will not be able to judge the ungodly for their sin immediately (Neh 13:1-3, 23-28, 30; Ezra 9, 10; 9:2, 1, 12, 11, 14; Num 22:5-6; 31:8; Jos 13:22; Gal 3:26; Rev 2:14; 2 Peter 2:14-17; 2 Tim 3:5-9; Jude 1:11).
13) WHEN MEN BEGAN TO MULTIPLY ON EARTH, THE LINE OF SEPARATION BETWEEN LIFE OF FAITH THAT PLEASES GOD AND UNGODLY LIFE THAT GOD HATES GOT BLURRED BY ITS MIXING : The Gen 6:1-4 passages comes in the context of the Scripture that ends in the previous Chapter 5 of Genesis which actually ends with Noah's Household. Gen 6:1-4 is just a interlude that explains why God was annoyed in Gen 6:5-8 with all humanity except Noah and His household who were one among them in every way except their godly life of faith. The increase in population was one of the reason that made sons of God to come in to contact with the daughters of Cain who were beautiful except their heart which was evil and was in unregenerated condition. This is the reason that at the end of time Jesus warned that a same scenario will happen like in the days of Noah where a increased population on earth and adjacent living will cause a intermingling of both godly and ungodly humans through intermarriage that will blur the line between true faith living and ungodly one to bring God's judgment in the same way upon the whole world (Luke 17:26-27; Rev 3:10). This shows that ungodly life of sin was the cause that made God angry to destroy the earth except Noah's household, and it was not because of some so called human-angel hybrid with which God got disappointed.
14) THE TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCE CAME FIRST IN CAIN'S LINE WHICH MUST HAVE CAUSED THE SONS OF GOD IN THE OTHER PART OF THE EARTH TO DESIRE IT FIRST THEN THROUGH IT THEIR LUST FOR BEAUTIFUL WOMEN: We see in Gen 4:20-22, Cain's line of people who were without faith were the first to pioneer livestock domestication and the food production for humans through it without much sweat, then they were the one who first brought musical instruments which caused men to be lulled in to a comfort zone for the soul to carry on without much thinking for God, and finally instruments of bronze and iron that caused them to weaponize themselves and protect themselves with their own strength and cause others to fear them or kill them through it. In one way if we see and delve deep in to the prophetic Scriptures, we find that the warning to our present generation that sees the signpost of events of the end happening was actually given to us comparing it to the times of the worldwide deluge of Noah (Luke 17:26-27), we see the same happening in our 21st century generation. We see a great increase in population of this earth like never before seen in the entire world since the time of Noah, all because of the technological advancement that God has opened for humans to increase in such a way (Isa 28:23-29). Machines became central to medicine in Europe during the 1800s. Medicine had always relied on technology such as scalpels, probes and materia medica. However, by the start of the 20th century new instruments were available to study, diagnose and treat the body. Today, hospitals worldwide use complex, computerized machines to image the body or assist its function. Technology started in the world which used it to benefit themselves, but we as the sons of God by faith also reside in the world and use the technology that comes, at the same time we thank God for technology and use it for God's glory only and not for our own selves as we are not of the world in our heart functioning as it functions with our new nature of heaven that controls us (John 17:11, 16; 1 Cor 10:31; Col 3:23-25; 2 Cor 5:17). But as we use technology more and more, the sinful thinking also starts to flood the mind of saints as they fail to overcome the sinful bait of Satan, once involved in sin indulgences through technology slowly there is a diminishing of light and truth that is happening in the soulish heart of the people of faith as Satan has been able to reach out with His evil thinking of sin through the same technological advancement that the saints have begun to use it in their lives.
Jesus called this period of the end as the "days of the Son of Man" (Luke 17:26) in which there will be a increase in technology, travel and medicine which will increase human longevity which is in fact proves that we are in the time of the end (Dan 12:4).
World population did not reach one billion until 1804. It took 123 years to reach 2 billion in 1927, 33 years to reach 3 billion in 1960, 14 years to reach 4 billion in 1974 and 13 years to reach 5 billion in 1987. It has taken just 12 years for the world to add this sixth billion people. According to the United Nations, world population reached 7 Billion on October 31, 2011, which means that the most recent surge of human population was the last two billions which was added in a record 12 and 13 years period of time in world history - (UNO data). Why? Death rates have plummeted: more infants are surviving, people are living longer because of medical advancement to prevent death. The UN’s mid-range projection is for 8.1 billion people by 2025 and 9.6 billion in 2050. If population reaches 9 billion people by 2050 we will be using the biological capacity of two Earths, warns WWF, leaving precious little for the Earth’s other inhabitants and future generations. In the Book of Revelation John described this scenario clearly by saying about our near future in which there will come a heavy scarcity of food so that a world body under the reign of Antichrist will start to ration the food supply to the population of the world, "5 When He opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, “Come and see.” So I looked, and behold, a black horse, and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand. 6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, “A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not harm the oil and the wine.”" (Rev 6:5-6). By doing this Antichrist will be able to temporarily solve the world food scarcity and boast about a world prosperity and safety that He will bring if all are committed to his plans around the world, but in his heart he will desire at that time for a world wide kingdom and dominion so he will start to put seal upon everyone to make them worship him and get their food and clothing (Rev 6:7-11; 13:11-18).
We know that computer plays a important role in our day to day life and it is used in all the fields of technology for the good of human beings. Satan and his minions have also used this same technology to bring filth to fill the mind of even children and young ones in our generation through using the internet technology to freely submerse themselves in to pornography that promotes bestiality, homosexuality, adultery and fornication which are actually a great abomination to the Lord, which will also bring the wrath of God upon the whole world as in the times of Noah (Lev 20:10, 13, 15, 16, 22-24; Gen 6:5-7; Eph 5:5-7; Col 3:5-6; 1 Thess 1:10; 2 Thess 1:6-8; Rev 3:10). From the above scenario we conclude that the wrath of God will not come upon the world in our times due to some angels beginning to inter-breed with humans to produce some giants offspring against the will of God but because of the inter-mingling of sons of faith with the daughters of men which will cause sin to increase around the world without any restraint.
15) DEMON POSSESSING PEOPLE'S MIND DOESN'T MEAN THAT THEY CAN DIRECTLY EMBODY THEMSELVES BY DISPOSSESSING THE HUMAN SPIRIT : We know from the Bible that the angels who did not keep their own [i.e proper] domain in the heavenlies, but rather by leaving it they started to posses people against their own will and began to control the mind of the people it possessed, caused God to arrest such trespassers during the deluge and put them reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day. The judgment of the great day of God's wrath of the end time will be like as in the case of Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them which walked in a similar manner to these which were destroyed by fire as they have given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after the strange flesh of homosexuality, bestiality and all kinds of evil thinking (Jude 1:6-7; Gen 19:4-5; John 3:18-21; 2 Peter 3:7). God will destroy the present earth through prophetic fire of the two prophets (Rev 11:3, 5), then a literal fire at His Second Coming during Armageddon with which Jesus will destroy the armies of all nations under Antichrist (Ezek 38:22-23; Rev 19:20-21; Zech 14:2-3), then the unbelievers present in earth will be thrown in to fire when the sheep of Jesus who are believers in Him will be separated from the goats who are unbelievers in the judgment of all nations after Armageddon (Matt 25:31-34, 41-46).
Once the unsaved people gave themselves in to the sin of homosexuality, fornication and adultery during Noah's time, the spirit of homosexuality, adultery and fornication began to control their lives by starting to oppress their spirit, soul and body by possessing them for which God put them in prison (Rom 1:26-27; Lev 20:13; 2 Peter 2:7-9). Some of these evil spirits will be let loose by the Lord in our times from prison which will again posses and corrupt the mind of people if they are involved in such sins without the blood protection of Jesus over their lives (Rev 9:1-2, 3-6, 7-12; 12:10-11; Isa 14:12; Luke 10:18-20). The locusts in Revelation 9 were told not to touch the grass or trees or any green thing, but that’s all that locusts eat naturally (Exo 10:15). This proves they’re not real locusts but some kind of demonic manifestation. The Greek translation of Amos 7:1 mentions Gog as a king of the locusts, here is what the English translation of the Greek says, "Thus the Lord showed me, and behold, a swarm of locusts coming early, and behold, one locust, Gog, the king.” [LXX (seventy): Septuagint : Greek Old Testament completed as early as the late 2nd century B.C.], which is odd because Proverbs 30:27 says that locusts have no king. This is another hint that the end times locusts are supernatural beings. Rev 9:11 makes special mention of the angelic king of the locusts, giving his name in both Hebrew and Greek: Abaddon/Apollyon which shows that John might be drawing on Amos 7, so that it can clearly appear to his readers that he thinks of Gog, locust-king the destroyer and destruction agent of the Lord as an angelic group under their captain Satan (John 10:10; Isa 54:16; 1 Kings 22:21; 2 Chron 18:20),...since John actually mentions Gog by name in Rev 20:7-9, it may be that we should see this as recapitulating Revelation 9’s demon-locust army attack.
Thus the above scenario of demons invading the earth does not mean it can start to dislodge a human spirit from their body to use it, but rather it is the influence of the demonic possession over humans through involving them in sin that gives demons the space in human mind to make them do evil through them being under its influence (Eph 5:6), and in the same vein the oppression of demon can happen to a end time believer if he is involved in such sinful activities as his unbelieving counterparts in the world and may be seriously chastised by the Lord with sickness or even unto death to keep them from getting judged when His wrath comes upon all the earth and in their eternity (Matt 12:43; Luke 11:24; John 8:34, 23-24; Rom 6:12, 16; 1 Cor 11:30-32). From what we have discussed there can be no place for a angel to cause a DNA mix with humans to produce giants. The best a fallen angel will be able to do is to cause evil to come in to human mind and cause it to lust to make it sin through their evil actions (James 1:12-15). This was how the angels corrupted humans during Noah's time. It proves that there was no angel-human hybrid giants ever since creation.
16) HUMAN CAN ONLY BEGET HUMAN, AND NOTHING MORE THAN THAT : We see in the creation act of God that He had kept all the "seed [of herbs and fruit trees...to reproduce] in itself according to its kind," and thus God saw that this way to reproduce and multiply was good in His sight (Gen 1:11-12). He also did the same thing with living creatures in water, and the birds that fly across the expanse of heavens by creating according to its own kind, and there by saw that it was good and blessed them to fill and multiply in this way (Gen 1:20-22). He then also created the living creatures on earth like cattle, creeping things and beasts according to its kind and finally saw that to get multiplied like this is good (Gen 1:24-25). Finally when creating man God discussed within the Trintiy about it, and created him in His own spiritual image of the ability of tri-unity to co-exist as one (John 17:21, 22, 23; 14:17, 23, 26). Then God blessed them to pro-create and multiply to have dominion and exercise power over the entire earth of His creation and subdue it through filling it, but did not add the phrase "after his own kind" (Gen 1:26-30) because He wanted to fill the earth with the reflection of the likeness of God through humans which was seen by God as something very good (Gen 1:31). The above point is clearly proved when Adam begets a son after the fall who was called as someone "in his own likeness, after his [sinful] image [i.e. nature]" (Gen 5:3) but was renamed as "Seth" which means 'appointed' as the father of the sons of God instead of Abel through their faith in God's promise of a Messiah who will crush Satan and give salvation from their sins (Gen 4:25-26; Gen 3:14-15). Thus the doctrine of angelic-human hybrid who were giants born on earth were nothing but fables fabricated to destroy one's faith in the Messiah Jesus who has come to save all of us humans from our sins (Matt 1:21). Apostle Paul said that if any person who may even be an angel from heaven speaks any other gospel other than what has been revealed to you, let him be accursed (Gal 1:8), he said this because he knew by foresight that in the last days in which we are living, "deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons" will come to make some precious saints depart from the faith (1 Tim 4:1). Angels are greater in power and might than humans but never have been created in the image of God, but only as servants of God and man who are in God's image (2 Peter 2:11; Heb 2:9, 16; 1:14; 1 Peter 1:12; Psa 103:20-21; 104:4). O Church rise up and stay strong in the Lord!
17) NO SUPPORT WHEN IT IS NOT CANONIZED, AND HAS NO SUPPORTING CLEAR CUT VERSE FROM ANOTHER PART OF THE BIBLE : The idea that the spirits of dead giants (off spring of demons mating with earth women) inhabit the underworld (place beyond the veil) is thought to be supported here in the following verses : "26 “ There are Meshech and Tubal and all their multitudes, with all their graves around it, all of them uncircumcised, slain by the sword, though they caused their terror in the land of the living. 27 They do not lie with the mighty who are fallen of the uncircumcised, who have gone down to hell with their weapons of war; They have laid their swords under their heads, but their iniquities will be on their bones, because of the terror of the mighty in the land of the living. 28 Yes, you shall be broken in the midst of the uncircumcised, and lie with those slain by the sword." (Ezekiel 32:26-28, NKJV). In the above verse, it clearly speaks about "Meshech and Tubal and all their multitudes" being judged to become completely broken by the Lord when they try to cover up their violence and try to play deceit as though they have no swords to fight but were ready to fight against God and His people if the opportunity arises as shown above, and it is not even faintly speaking about the idea of the spirits of dead giants (off spring of demons mating with earth women) inhabiting the underworld (place beyond the veil). The above verses portrays that "Meshech and Tubal and all their multitudes" will not fight against their enemies and valiantly die in a battle, but by the supernatural hand of the terror of the Lord they will die in their sins without any natural honor on earth because of their deceptive way they have practiced in life. I have seen people use the Message Translation to justify their point to prove the opposite of what the above verses says about. The above verses should not be picked up in a particular liquidated translation of the Bible to make one's thought to be read in to that different translation of the Bible. The Message translation is good for inspirational study and understanding but never should it be used for doctrine formation or else it will become indoctrination towards the readers which some use for.
I use NKJV which means NEW KING JAMES VERSION and consider it to be the closest as much as I know to the original King James Version as well as to the Greek original Septuagint as well as to the New Testament Greek copies of the apostles. At the same time they maintain the contemporary understandable English without diluting any part of it. For example consider this following verse in NKJV, "But he does not know that the dead are there, that her guests are in the depths of hell." (Prov 9:18). In short the above verse simply says that a man who goes to a prostitute or a foolish woman living a loose promiscuous life will never know that a lot of men have already fallen in to this sin of the flesh to enter in to a hellish life without true peace of God which will lead to hell fire one day if not saved by God. See the same verse can be read out of contest in the following verse in the Douay-Rheims Version which is a translation of the Bible from the Latin Vulgate into English made by members of the English College, Douai, in the service of the Catholic Church. "And he did not know that giants are there, and that her guests are in the depths of hell" (Douay-Rheims Version, Proverbs 9:18).
In other words, the simple meaning of the Scripture has been taken out to imply and read the out of context meaning of the doctrine of angelic-human hybrid giants from Genesis 6 which Roman Catholic Church holds to make the people who hear it to believe that it was real when it is not. The same thing happens through out the following Scriptures to make the wrong doctrine of angelic-human hybrid giants to be implied as real when it is just a reel of lies. What these translators have done is, substitute the word 'giant' where ever the word 'dead' comes to read their doctrine as the true one, when in fact the word 'REPHAIM' which means the shades or spirits of the departed, dwelling in Sheol or Hades, generally rendered correctly in contest in most of our latest version is, "the dead" ("dead things," Job 26:5); Psalm 88:10; Proverbs 2:18; 21:16, etc.
But the same word also has an alternate meaning 'giants' which is used to comprehend all the gigantic races of the Canaanites, of whom there were several families according to its context in various places like in Genesis 14:5 in the time of Abraham, Num 21:33-35 Og king of Bashan his bed was nine cubits [i.e. about 13 feet / 4 meters] in the time of Moses was defeated by Him (Deut 3:11; Joshua 12:4), in the time of Joshua he fought giants and defeated them in the land of Canaan where their descendants lived and finally wiped them out (Joshua 11:22; 17:15), we also hear of them in David's time, in the city of Gath, 1 Chronicles 20:4-6. Also the giant Goliath and others were the remains of the Rephaim, or of the kindred family of Anakim (Num 13:33; 1 Chron 11:22-23). Their magnitude and strength are often spoken of in Scripture. They appear to have excelled in violence and crime, and hence are monuments of divine justice served upon them like in Gen 6 (Deut 2:10-11; 20-21; 3:11; Psalms 135:11; 136:20). To use the same word "giants" in all verses of the Bible where the word 'REPHAIM' is found, is to make it read like what they want it to read out of context totally. Such act of interpretation is to do great injustice to the Biblical interpretation of Scripture which is hermeneutics. That is what is done in the below Scriptures.
- "A man that shall wander out of the way of doctrine, shall abide in the company of the giants" (Douay-Rheims Version, Proverbs 21:16)
- "Hell below was in an uproar to meet thee at thy coming, it stirred up the giants for thee" (Douay-Rheims Version, Isaiah 14:9)
- "Let not the dead live, let not the giants rise again..." (Douay-Rheims Version, Isaiah 26:14)
A Biblical canon, or canon of Scripture, is a list of books considered to be authoritative Scripture by the Christian religious community. The word "canon" comes from the Greek kanwn and most likely from the Hebrew qaneh and Akkadian, qanu., meaning "rule" or "measuring stick". Any non canonized book that is not measured within the canon of the Scripture is considered as dubious because of their questionable value to the church, and was called 'apocrypha' to mean they are false, spurious, bad, or heretical..for the one main reason that many things are found in them corrupt, and against the true faith handed down by the Church apostles and elders. It has pleased them that they not be given a place nor be admitted to authority.
The non canonized book of Jasher, which is mentioned in the Bible in Joshua 10:13 and 2 Samuel 1.18 [i.e. where it is referenced as containing the Song or Lament of the Bow in the book of Jasher, that mournful funeral song which David composed at the time of the death of Saul and Jonathan] says, "After the fallen angels went into the daughters of men, [then] the sons of men taught the mixture of animals of one species with the other, in order to provoke the Lord" (4:18). Such kind of baloney of provoking the Lord outside of His omnipotence, omniscience and omnipresence, only a fool can accept such thing who does not know the Bible at all. Then the non-canonical Book of Enoch is an apocrypha of dubious authenticity which means the apocryphal writing called "the Book of Enoch," contains a statement resembling Jude’s, but there is no proof it existed at the time of Jude. The same book of dubious nature says that the fallen angels not only merged their DNA with women, but that "they began to sin against birds, and beasts, and reptiles, and fish" (7:5; 6), which is totally against the word of God which God has spoken about His Creation in the Book of Genesis where He says that His creatures can only beget of its same kind only.
Since A.D. 397 the Christian church has considered the canon of the Bible to be complete; if it is complete, then it must be closed. Therefore, we cannot expect any more books to be discovered or written that would open the canon again and add to its sixty-six books [i.e. 39 OT Books + 27 NT Books]. So the book of Jasher is not a fully inspired writing but rather was probably a collection or compilation of ancient Hebrew songs and poems praising the heroes of Israel and their exploits in battle. We know that God directed the authors of the Scriptures to use passages from many and various extra-biblical sources in composing His Word. The passage recorded in Joshua 10:13 is a good example. In recording this battle, Joshua included passages from the Book of Jasher not because it was his only source of what occurred; rather, he was stating, in effect, “If you don’t believe what I’m saying, then go read it in the Book of Jasher. Even that book has a record of this event.”
This above exposition clearly proves the point that unless a clear Scripture supports a obscure Scripture without any other Scripture opposing the view of it, only then it can be cleared to be taken to support a doctrine (Isa 34:16). So the bottom line is that neither the extra Biblical apocrypha books like Jasher and Enoch can be used to support substantiate the false doctrine of angel-human hybrid giants, nor can the out of context, loose and diluted Biblical translations can be used to justify and read in to the text a false doctrine like the angel-human DNA mixture.
18) ALL MEN WERE CREATED BY GOD WITH ONE BLOOD OF A MAN : Acts 17:26 indicates all nations are of “one blood” or “one man.” If some nations are a combination of angelic blood and Adamic blood, as the Anakites would have been in this view as well as the Nephilim pre-Flood, then there is a major problem — Acts 17:26 would be wrong. The Anakites were still living and breeding with many other people groups during Paul’s time. Thus, it presents a absolute problem to those who say angels bred with women. The man or the blood of one man who is referred in Acts 17:26 is none other than our forefather Adam by whose blood all the humans around the world have come in to existence. Thus there can be no human-angel hybrid of a mixed DNA that can ever be present on earth since creation to produce giants.
19) MARRIAGE IS BETWEEN ONLY A MAN AND A WOMAN, NO WHERE IN THE BIBLE IT HAD BEEN FOUND TO BE BETWEEN ANY OTHER THAN THIS : When Jesus spoke about marriage and divorce, He spoke of it as something between only a male and a female since the beginning of time in the Garden of Eden where God conducted the first marriage between Adam and Eve (Matt 19:4-6). If those which was said as sons of God and daughters of men in Gen 6:2, 4 were thought of mistakenly as marriages between fallen angels and women which produced children of mixed DNA, then it opens up the possibility of marriages that are not limited to man and woman, when the Bible is clear on this subject. So this proves again that there were no Human-Angel Hybrid except for those who dare to speak falsely against the truth of the first marriage institution which was established by God on earth as clearly described in the Bible.
20) NOAH ENDS THE WHOLE MESSAGE OF TRUTH AND GODLINESS WITH HIS LIFE THAT PREACHED RATHER THAN JUST HIS WORDS : There was a godly lineage from Adam to Seth and followed down the line to Noah: Adam–Seth–Enosh–Kenan–Mahalalel–Jared–Enoch–Methuselah–Lamech–Noah. The names in the Book of Genesis have meanings that when put together from the bloodline of Adam to Noah tells the Gospel.
1) Adam -Man
2) Seth -Appointed
3) Enosh – Mortal
4) Kenan – Sorrow
5) Mahalalel – The blessed God
6) Jared – Shall come down
7) Enoch – Teaching
8) Methuselah – His death shall bring
9) Lamech – Despairing
10) Noah – Comfort and rest
Put those meanings into a complete sentence and you get: Man (is) appointed mortal sorrow, (but) the blessed God shall come down teaching. His death shall bring (the) despairing comfort and rest.
There is no way that this is by accident. I believe this shows that the godly line was put specifically in each place till Noah so that this design by the Holy Spirit to hide the gospel in the text could be fulfilled. So Noah was a preacher of righteousness through his life of faith before all the people in his wicked generation where God puts a full stop to all ungodliness and gave time enough to get in to Noah's ark to escape the wrath of God that came to them through flood, today God asks people to get in to the Ark of the Church through the gospel of His only Begotten Son Jesus Christ to escape the wrath of God that is coming to the whole wide world through fire for its ungodliness (2 Peter 2:5; 1 Peter 3:20-21).
CONCLUSION : May we come to realize that the true faith people are being watched over by God and He wants us to live boldly with faith as Noah and walk along with Him even until Rapture happens. God wants us not to be distracted by all the wind of doctrines that are trying to make us fall from our steady faith (Eph 4:14), instead look unto Him by learning and speaking the truth in love that we may grow up in all things in to Him who is our Christ the Head (Eph 4:15). Avoid such people who hold and propagate such lies, because they might not have full truth in them and might also mislead you in to believing lies to lose your precious faith that carries a great reward now and for eternity (Heb 10:35). This is a question that has arisen again and again even in our generation like in all previous generations because people are not ready to take in what the Word of God says about this matter. They keep speculating certain things and circulate them within the Christian circle through the Internet that causes more confusion in the mind of people. I have seen certain ministers of God reading these error on the net, and without even understanding it in Biblical context they have even started propagating it as a doctrine to bring confusion and fear in the heart of the people of God around the world. I give below twenty reasons after which you can know for sure that such a error cannot be entertained because it cannot stand the test of truth.
TWENTY REASON WHY THERE CANNOT BE ANY HUMAN-ANGEL HYBRID EXCEPT SONS OF ADAM
1) EXISTENCE OF NEPHILIM GIANTS BEFORE AND AFTER THE FLOOD : My first reason is based on the simple logic and the very question that you have asked. Here are the verses that you have referred, Genesis 6:1-4 says, "1 Now it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born to them, 2 that the sons of God saw the daughters of men, that they were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose. 3 And the LORD said, “My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, for he is indeed flesh; yet his days shall be one hundred and twenty years.” 4 There were giants on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown."
Genesis 7:23 says, "...So He destroyed all living things which were on the face of the ground: both man and cattle, creeping thing and bird of the air. They were destroyed from the earth. Only Noah and those who were with him in the ark remained alive."
Numbers 13:33 says, "...There we saw the giants (the descendants of Anak came from the giants); and we were like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight.”"
If as some people say that there were human-angel hybrid that came in to existence and that was the reason God completely wiped off all the human beings through a worldwide flood, why did God not do the same again after the flood when He found the same kind of giants at the time God sent the Israelites to conquer the Canaan land through Moses and Joshua?
If the Nephilim were a race of giants, how could they appear both before and after the Flood, which destroyed everyone except Noah and his family? No way this is possible. Did God then do injustice to one generation of Noah's time by judging the Nephilim giants of their time and leave the same giants who were found in Moses' generation to go scot free. The Bible says, "28 For the LORD loves justice, and does not forsake His saints; They are preserved forever, but the descendants of the wicked shall be cut off." (Psa 37:28). In other words, because God is a just God, though He might judge His saints rightly in His righteousness, He does not forsake them, instead preserves them forever by giving them salvation for eternity. This is what happened to the saints of Noah's time who believed God but were walking a fleshly lives to take the daughters of men who were the descendants of Cain who was initially a nomadic wandering tribe who settled himself away from the men of God who came through Adam-Seth line according to the context because of fear of extinction that came as a result of murdering Abel who ought to have been the father of all saints of faith during that time (Gen 4:16-26; 5:1-32).
Then, why should God give the lineage of Cain without reason before the Chapter 5 where the lineage of Adam-Seth faith line are described, if it were not expected of us from God to get the context of Genesis Chapter 6 and understand it to see that a mingling of faith and flesh happens in Genesis Chapter 6? We come to know through the New Testament writers that God judged these sons of God to die through the flood of Noah's days because they mingled themselves with the daughters of men to produce offspring who were violent to fight and kill each other instead of walking in the love of God, therefore because they believed God and yet their thinking and behavior were after the flesh completely, God judged them in the flesh but saved them in their spirit to make them live for eternity through sending Jesus later to make their captivity free from Hades prison under the earth (1 Peter 3:18-20; 4:6; 1 Cor 5:5). Recalling the word Nephilim that is related to the verb series “to fall” in Hebrew, we deduce that the offspring from these unions even though were saved by faith, they had actually fallen away from the true faith of their God (1 Cor 7:14), and thus were termed Nephilim because of the falling away. In the last days, a falling away will come first within the Church from the true faith and then the flood of God's wrath will come upon all those in the world, among whom those who will not be taken in Rapture of the Church because of lack of salvation by faith will have to face the Tribulation of the end along with unbeliever to die as a Tribulation-Saint by faith and be purified for salvation (2 Thess 2:3-4; Eph 2:8-9; Rev 3:20; 13:10; 14:12-13).
2) SPIRITUAL AND NOT PHYSICAL CORRUPTION : The second reason God killed all the people during Noah's time was not a physical corruption that happened because of Angels having sex with human women who were extremely beautiful to produce Human-Angel hybrid as people falsely speculate, but in God own words it was a spiritual corruption in the mind of men who were believing God for salvation of their souls, but chose the beautiful women of Cain's line who were without faith, and therefore have got corrupted in their mind and started walking in the flesh. This was the real reason God decided to completely destroy the earth with His flood in Noah's days (Gen 6:5).
3) FLESHLY AND EMPTY RELIGIOUS LIFE WITHOUT FAITH : Then the context of the Scripture in the Chapter 6 of Genesis is "When men began to multiply on the face of the earth" (Gen 6:1), and in that context the "sons of God" in Gen 6:2 points to their error of humans with the fallen nature in which they "they took wives [note the plurality which insists that they promiscuously married against their faith that God gave them, by giving in to their lust of their eyes which saw beauty rather than notice the bad moral Character within those beautiful women (1 Peter 3:4-5)]" and also "they chose" personally out of their flesh rather than letting God guide them in these important matters of life which God was very concerned about. As a result of making the above two mistakes, they who were worshiping God through faith in the sacrificial system of shedding animals blood to cover their sins and thus draw near to God which was taught to Adam and Eve after the fall in to sin by God (Gen 3:21), were led in to fleshly life and was made to follow useless religious ritual which gave them freedom to indulge in the fleshly wickedness and violence, because it embraced religion without faith which God hated, which was first embraced by Cain and his lineage who were sent out of His Presence to make them realize their need for God (Gen 4:11-16). So human-angel hybrid error in doctrine has nothing to do with the faith life or religious life of humans which mattered to God.
4) NOAH'S FAITH LIFE CONTRASTED WITH MEN WITHOUT IT : Then God contrasts all the wicked men along with the sons of God whose thinking were also evil all the time (Gen 6:5, 7), with one man whose name is Noah who was just like them in all human personality except that he along with his family were walking in faith with God (Gen 6:7-8). If the human gene pool have got mixed with angelic genes to produce gaints who have completely gone against God's will for human size, gene and existence, then God would not be able to contrast Noah who lived by faith apart from those sons of God who started living as they chose in having multiple wives from women who did not have faith at all. This proves that there was no Human-Angel hybrid that made God to judge the earth, but the mixture of faith people with the daughters of Cain who did not have faith at all around the earth that made God judge the earth.
5) IMPORTED CONTEXT FROM THE BOOK OF JOB : When ever someone takes a imported context for the word "sons of God" from Job 1:6 and imposes it on the "sons of God" in Genesis 6:2 to say that they were angels, actually they are committing a serious error in Biblical interpretation and are not doing justice to the actual context which this verse reveals. Whenever we take a context for a verse we should always look to the preceding chapters before that chapter in which the verse are present, and also the succeeding ones first to see what kind of information are given in those Chapters for us to decide through comparison and derivation to find what that context of the verse has.
If we apply that rule, we come to find that the Book of Job 1:6 speaks about the angels as the sons of God because it was a heavenly setting from which we derive the context, while Gen 6:2 speaks about the earthly humans who had faith in God as the sons of God because it was a earthly setting from which we derive the context. We see the Chapters 4 and 5 of Genesis differentiates and separates normal humans in two ways, one group had faith in God and the other group were driven out of God's Presence because they had no faith (Heb 11:6). From that setting of separation, Genesis Chapter 6 speaks about "sons of God saw the daughters of men", what does this mean when we see literally and compare with the context we have from the two previous chapters, we have a classical meaning of the line of Cain which had no faith but had external beauties in their line, and the sons of God who were very blessed by God in the line of Seth who had great faith but normal exterior look got mixed with each other.
The result was a very disastrous violent life of wickedness that began to fill the earth. So when Gen 6:4 says, "There were giants on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown," it actually convey the giants were nobody other than the mighty men of renown who were violent, gigantic and always ready to fight because of walking in the impulse of their sinful nature, this is why the very next verse conveys that this is the right context through revealing that the "Lord saw the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually" (Gen 6:5), which proves that God did not want to destroy the earth because of Human-Angel hybrid giants who got bred on earth outside of His will, but because the intent of the heart of men on earth have got filled with violence and perversion which began to manifest in their lifestyle, God decided to completely destroy them who were making the whole earth to become more and more of a living hell.
6) ANGELS DOES NOT HAVE THE ABILITY TO PROCREATE LIKE HUMANS : Jesus Himself has told in Matthew 22:30, “For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels [which includes fallen and the good angels (Job 1:6,12;1 Samuel 19:9;1 Kings 22:19-23;Luke 1:19)] of God in heaven.” In other words, Jesus has plainly said angels cannot procreate by having intercourse like humans. What more evidence we need, to say that the Sons of God were just human beings in Noah’s time and not Human-angel hybrid.
7) JESUS RESURRECTION BODY WAS THE FIRST GLORIOUS TERRESTRIAL AND CELESTIAL BODY : After Jesus rose up from the dead, His body was quickened by the Holy Spirit to become the first terrestrial and celestial body combined in one which can be used both in heaven and earth without any physical limitation of space and time (Rom 8:11). In other words, even when the door of the room in which the disciples hid themselves were locked tight because of fear of the religious Jews who wanted to kill them, still Jesus came in to their room because of His glorious new meta-physical body (John 20:26). This made some of Jesus' disciples to doubt whether they have seen a spirit who is trying to harass them as it did usually to many people in their times, therefore they were deeply troubled as doubts began to arise in their heart (Luke 24:37). Jesus beautifully replied to them, "Behold My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself. Handle Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see I have.” (Luke 24:39). In other words, if any one says that a human-angel hybrid was present before Noah's flood, they are contesting with Jesus words and are saying it to be false. Jesus cannot be false because He claimed Himself as the embodiment of truth and there cannot be even a dot of lie in Him, or what He has said Himself is either true or totally a lie (John 14:6). We who know and believe Jesus as our Lord and Savior cannot entertain the false idea of human-angel hybrid beings anytime in any generation being present because it will make Jesus to become a liar who has lied when He is actually the truth who is true within our hearts and lives. As angels are spirit beings and have no physical body, no angel spirit according to Jesus can ever have flesh and bones like the first glorious human body of Jesus, which also directly shows that unlike the first Adam's nature of flesh and blood that cannot inherit the kingdom of God because of sin in it, the body of Jesus inherited the very Kingdom of His Father within him in embodiment as he had no sin nature in it and thus became the birthing father of all the spirits of the new race created without sin in God's own likeness after the first Adam fell in to sin and spoiled that sacred image (1 Cor 15:50). And so no angels can ever have intercourse with a human women to produce any so called human-angel hybrid because it stands opposite to what Jesus has told about Himself after the resurrection. If fallen angels or demons, which are spirit, could materialize, then this calls into question the entire resurrection of Christ.
8) THERE ARE TERRESTRIAL BODIES AND CELESTIAL BODIES, BOTH ARE SEPARATE UNTIL NOW TILL RAPTURE: We know that all of us believers will one day be like Jesus with a meta-physical glorious spiritual body when He comes to rapture us and take us away to our Father's home (1 John 3:2; 1 Cor 15:44; Acts 1:9-11; John 14:2-3). But until that happens, only two categories were shown to be there by the great apostle Paul in 1 Cor 15:40 which says, "There are also celestial bodies and terrestrial bodies; but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another." In other words, both celestial glory and terrestrial glory cannot mix together, until Jesus raises up all the believers to have a spiritual body just like him which can manoeuvre and travel without any limitation in both the heavenly and earthly realm. So to say that there was a giant human-angelic hybrid is to go beyond the revealed truth to establish our faith in error which will them become false faith.
9) GOD WAS IN CONTROL DURING NOAH'S TIME AND WAS NOT CAUGHT BY SURPRISE : Though God sometimes sends angels to look like humans at various times in the Bible, yet they were sent with concealed identity to fulfill His purpose at any specific time and place (Heb 13:2). Even angels food was supplied to Israelites in the desert by God supernaturally in Manna, but that can never prove that angel are physical beings (Psa 78:25). Instead it proves the supernatural power of God to make someone experience a particular thing at a particular time and place beyond natural explanation to reveal His miraculous power. Angels who were sent in a particular mission to convey God's message to humans and even to test them and provide evidence for some reality on earth and to execute God's judgment on the earth (Gen 18:2, 20-22, 33; 19:1, 5, 12-13, 15-16, 24-25), were always given the power to do that which God intended to do, and He cannot be taken by surprise because His is the story-line and He knows the end of things from the beginning (Isa 46:9-11). So to say that angels with whatever authority or power they were given by God, had done something against the will of God to contaminate the earth with human-angel hybrid beings, is in other words is like saying that this God who created all things and everything that is in the entire universe, was taken by surprise against His own will to see that the angels have produced a human-angel hybrid without His knowledge to later destroy them through a flood. This is also like saying that at a certain point of time God lost His control over His creation and therefore the angels made God a puppet for a time, after which God again regained control over His own earth. Pure baloney!!!! If this was the truth as like some people say, then God is not omniscient to know all things beforehand. But the Bible says that He is omniscient and knows all things even before it ever happens (Psa 139:4; 147:5; Job 28:24). From this we know such theories of human-angelic hybrid nephilim giants are actually false.
10) JESUS COULD NOT HAVE SAVED THE SONS OF GOD IF THEY WERE HUMAN-ANGELIC HYBRID : We know that Jesus went in to the prison where the disobedient sons of God were kept and preached salvation to them and took them with Him to heaven (1 Peter 3:18-20; 4:5-6; Eph 4:8-10). In the Book of Hebrews the writer says, "For indeed He [i.e. Jesus] does not give aid to angels, but He does give aid to the seed of Abraham [i.e. humans who believe]." (Heb 2:16). The above verse proves that the sons of God described in Gen 6:2, 4 were not human-angel hybrid but were pure humans who actually were sons of faith but were disobedient to God and have therefore been destroyed with unbelievers in the flood of Noah's time. Though they were destroyed physically in their bodies because of their sinful living during that time along with unbelievers, yet God justified them through Jesus in their spirit to take them to heaven after His death and resurrection because they were saved not by their works but rather by their faith which God had given them during that period of time (1 Peter 4:6, 17-18; Eph 2:8-9). Jesus would not have saved them if those sons of God who died in the flood were actually an human-angelic hybrid according to Heb 2:16, because He has chosen only those human believers in God who were considered by God as the children of Abraham to be saved in their spirit and thus make them live forever with Him (1 Cor 15:45-49; Gal 3:29, 26). The above truth proves the non existence of any human-angel hybrid at any time in the course of human existence.
11) ACCORDING TO GOD, SIN WAS THE REASON FOR DEATH THROUGH FLOOD TO ENTER HUMANS : Paul the apostle beautifully describes in Rom 5:12-14, "12 Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned— 13 (For until the law sin was in the world, but sin is not imputed when there is no law. 14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those who had not sinned according to the likeness of the transgression of Adam, who is a type of Him who was to come." In other words, in the above verses apostle Paul reveals that sin entered the whole world only through one man Adam, and then it spread to all men causing death from Adam right through to Moses' generation even to those whom God did not directly give commandment to keep like He did for Adam in the Garden of Eden before he fell in to sin. Naturally all men sinned as sin spread to all by embedding itself within human nature as fleshly descendants of Adam. Taking in to account the above verse, we see that the time of Noah's flood came due to increased practice of sin due to sinful corruption of humans thinking during that time which was right in the middle of the ages between Adam's and Moses's generation of people.
In these pre-diluvian times even though there was no specific law given by God for them to keep, yet God's law was actually written in their heart which prompted them, but when the voice of God's Spirit got rejected again and again by these men in their heart, immediately their heart began to get more and more darkened to the extent of spiritual blindness totally before they were all destroyed (Rom 1:20-21; 2:14-16). The more the darkness in all humans heart increased in Noah's generation, the more of hell earth became. And so God gave them enough freedom to choose to seek Him and find Him internally without taking them in to task for breaking any law, which they actually did not know it externally as God also did not demand from them before the law of Moses was given to follow it externally. So the external law of God came through Moses (John 1:17), but the law of the Spirit was there from the beginning of time (Rom 8:2). But in the pre-diluvian time, the Spirit of God was the only person who prompted within the heart of men to tell which is right from wrong based on their faith towards God (Gen 6:3), because of the mixture of the faith people with fleshly people, God gave these men one hundred and twenty year to turn to God or finally die by the world-wide deluge (Gen 25:7; 35:28; 6:8). The only person who was favored within that time was Noah who walked with God in faith along with His whole family (1 Peter 3:20). The above points we discussed from the above Scriptures clearly points out that God did not destroy the earth because of human-angel hybrid that began to increase against His will, but because of the disobedience of increased and continual sinful thinking that caused perverse and evil actions in humans who had faith within them but did not live it out because of constantly giving in to the pull of sin in their flesh within rather than to let the Spirit of God guide them in to godly and blessed living on earth as it is in heaven.
12) GOD GAVE THE GENEALOGY OF CAIN TO MAKE US NOTICE THAT THE DAUGHTERS OF MEN WAS THEIR UNGODLY BUT BEAUTIFUL DESCENDANTS : In Gen 4:16-24, God gave how the genealogy of Cain also increased on the earth to show us that they were the other separated men in other part of the earth who lived a ungodly life of violence and sin without God, so that when the Genealogy of godly sons of God who had faith within them is seen, they could be identified separately after that from Gen 4:25-26; 5:1-32 which ends with the Noah and his three sons. This proves that according to the context of the Scripture, that the "sons of God" were the men of faith who came through Seth and the "daughters of men" were the ungodly humans who came through Cain (Gen 6:2). The "daughters of men" when seen in context literally, they were the daughters of these ungodly men who were very beautiful outwardly and were used by these men to make a bridge to the sons of God who were very blessed in their lives because of God's favor over their lives (Luke 17:26-27). The violent men who were afraid to meet these godly line initially because of God's special protection and defense over them and appealed to God for their protection because of insecurity and fear within them, suddenly began to mingle within them freely through entering their lives through deceiving them through their beautiful women daughters (Gen 4:10-15, 24). The mark on Cain was God's special mercy to him to continue living on earth without being destroyed by the curse that was upon him because of his folly and sinful life (Gen 6:14-15). Satan has always used ungodly beautiful women to tempt and make the sons of God by faith to fall in to sin more and more by appealing to them through their base nature of the fallen flesh, in order to contaminate the mind of the faith line who were walking closely with God and then pull them down to make them behave like those who were without faith so that God will not be able to judge the ungodly for their sin immediately (Neh 13:1-3, 23-28, 30; Ezra 9, 10; 9:2, 1, 12, 11, 14; Num 22:5-6; 31:8; Jos 13:22; Gal 3:26; Rev 2:14; 2 Peter 2:14-17; 2 Tim 3:5-9; Jude 1:11).
13) WHEN MEN BEGAN TO MULTIPLY ON EARTH, THE LINE OF SEPARATION BETWEEN LIFE OF FAITH THAT PLEASES GOD AND UNGODLY LIFE THAT GOD HATES GOT BLURRED BY ITS MIXING : The Gen 6:1-4 passages comes in the context of the Scripture that ends in the previous Chapter 5 of Genesis which actually ends with Noah's Household. Gen 6:1-4 is just a interlude that explains why God was annoyed in Gen 6:5-8 with all humanity except Noah and His household who were one among them in every way except their godly life of faith. The increase in population was one of the reason that made sons of God to come in to contact with the daughters of Cain who were beautiful except their heart which was evil and was in unregenerated condition. This is the reason that at the end of time Jesus warned that a same scenario will happen like in the days of Noah where a increased population on earth and adjacent living will cause a intermingling of both godly and ungodly humans through intermarriage that will blur the line between true faith living and ungodly one to bring God's judgment in the same way upon the whole world (Luke 17:26-27; Rev 3:10). This shows that ungodly life of sin was the cause that made God angry to destroy the earth except Noah's household, and it was not because of some so called human-angel hybrid with which God got disappointed.
14) THE TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCE CAME FIRST IN CAIN'S LINE WHICH MUST HAVE CAUSED THE SONS OF GOD IN THE OTHER PART OF THE EARTH TO DESIRE IT FIRST THEN THROUGH IT THEIR LUST FOR BEAUTIFUL WOMEN: We see in Gen 4:20-22, Cain's line of people who were without faith were the first to pioneer livestock domestication and the food production for humans through it without much sweat, then they were the one who first brought musical instruments which caused men to be lulled in to a comfort zone for the soul to carry on without much thinking for God, and finally instruments of bronze and iron that caused them to weaponize themselves and protect themselves with their own strength and cause others to fear them or kill them through it. In one way if we see and delve deep in to the prophetic Scriptures, we find that the warning to our present generation that sees the signpost of events of the end happening was actually given to us comparing it to the times of the worldwide deluge of Noah (Luke 17:26-27), we see the same happening in our 21st century generation. We see a great increase in population of this earth like never before seen in the entire world since the time of Noah, all because of the technological advancement that God has opened for humans to increase in such a way (Isa 28:23-29). Machines became central to medicine in Europe during the 1800s. Medicine had always relied on technology such as scalpels, probes and materia medica. However, by the start of the 20th century new instruments were available to study, diagnose and treat the body. Today, hospitals worldwide use complex, computerized machines to image the body or assist its function. Technology started in the world which used it to benefit themselves, but we as the sons of God by faith also reside in the world and use the technology that comes, at the same time we thank God for technology and use it for God's glory only and not for our own selves as we are not of the world in our heart functioning as it functions with our new nature of heaven that controls us (John 17:11, 16; 1 Cor 10:31; Col 3:23-25; 2 Cor 5:17). But as we use technology more and more, the sinful thinking also starts to flood the mind of saints as they fail to overcome the sinful bait of Satan, once involved in sin indulgences through technology slowly there is a diminishing of light and truth that is happening in the soulish heart of the people of faith as Satan has been able to reach out with His evil thinking of sin through the same technological advancement that the saints have begun to use it in their lives.
Jesus called this period of the end as the "days of the Son of Man" (Luke 17:26) in which there will be a increase in technology, travel and medicine which will increase human longevity which is in fact proves that we are in the time of the end (Dan 12:4).
World population did not reach one billion until 1804. It took 123 years to reach 2 billion in 1927, 33 years to reach 3 billion in 1960, 14 years to reach 4 billion in 1974 and 13 years to reach 5 billion in 1987. It has taken just 12 years for the world to add this sixth billion people. According to the United Nations, world population reached 7 Billion on October 31, 2011, which means that the most recent surge of human population was the last two billions which was added in a record 12 and 13 years period of time in world history - (UNO data). Why? Death rates have plummeted: more infants are surviving, people are living longer because of medical advancement to prevent death. The UN’s mid-range projection is for 8.1 billion people by 2025 and 9.6 billion in 2050. If population reaches 9 billion people by 2050 we will be using the biological capacity of two Earths, warns WWF, leaving precious little for the Earth’s other inhabitants and future generations. In the Book of Revelation John described this scenario clearly by saying about our near future in which there will come a heavy scarcity of food so that a world body under the reign of Antichrist will start to ration the food supply to the population of the world, "5 When He opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, “Come and see.” So I looked, and behold, a black horse, and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand. 6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, “A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not harm the oil and the wine.”" (Rev 6:5-6). By doing this Antichrist will be able to temporarily solve the world food scarcity and boast about a world prosperity and safety that He will bring if all are committed to his plans around the world, but in his heart he will desire at that time for a world wide kingdom and dominion so he will start to put seal upon everyone to make them worship him and get their food and clothing (Rev 6:7-11; 13:11-18).
We know that computer plays a important role in our day to day life and it is used in all the fields of technology for the good of human beings. Satan and his minions have also used this same technology to bring filth to fill the mind of even children and young ones in our generation through using the internet technology to freely submerse themselves in to pornography that promotes bestiality, homosexuality, adultery and fornication which are actually a great abomination to the Lord, which will also bring the wrath of God upon the whole world as in the times of Noah (Lev 20:10, 13, 15, 16, 22-24; Gen 6:5-7; Eph 5:5-7; Col 3:5-6; 1 Thess 1:10; 2 Thess 1:6-8; Rev 3:10). From the above scenario we conclude that the wrath of God will not come upon the world in our times due to some angels beginning to inter-breed with humans to produce some giants offspring against the will of God but because of the inter-mingling of sons of faith with the daughters of men which will cause sin to increase around the world without any restraint.
15) DEMON POSSESSING PEOPLE'S MIND DOESN'T MEAN THAT THEY CAN DIRECTLY EMBODY THEMSELVES BY DISPOSSESSING THE HUMAN SPIRIT : We know from the Bible that the angels who did not keep their own [i.e proper] domain in the heavenlies, but rather by leaving it they started to posses people against their own will and began to control the mind of the people it possessed, caused God to arrest such trespassers during the deluge and put them reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day. The judgment of the great day of God's wrath of the end time will be like as in the case of Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them which walked in a similar manner to these which were destroyed by fire as they have given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after the strange flesh of homosexuality, bestiality and all kinds of evil thinking (Jude 1:6-7; Gen 19:4-5; John 3:18-21; 2 Peter 3:7). God will destroy the present earth through prophetic fire of the two prophets (Rev 11:3, 5), then a literal fire at His Second Coming during Armageddon with which Jesus will destroy the armies of all nations under Antichrist (Ezek 38:22-23; Rev 19:20-21; Zech 14:2-3), then the unbelievers present in earth will be thrown in to fire when the sheep of Jesus who are believers in Him will be separated from the goats who are unbelievers in the judgment of all nations after Armageddon (Matt 25:31-34, 41-46).
Once the unsaved people gave themselves in to the sin of homosexuality, fornication and adultery during Noah's time, the spirit of homosexuality, adultery and fornication began to control their lives by starting to oppress their spirit, soul and body by possessing them for which God put them in prison (Rom 1:26-27; Lev 20:13; 2 Peter 2:7-9). Some of these evil spirits will be let loose by the Lord in our times from prison which will again posses and corrupt the mind of people if they are involved in such sins without the blood protection of Jesus over their lives (Rev 9:1-2, 3-6, 7-12; 12:10-11; Isa 14:12; Luke 10:18-20). The locusts in Revelation 9 were told not to touch the grass or trees or any green thing, but that’s all that locusts eat naturally (Exo 10:15). This proves they’re not real locusts but some kind of demonic manifestation. The Greek translation of Amos 7:1 mentions Gog as a king of the locusts, here is what the English translation of the Greek says, "Thus the Lord showed me, and behold, a swarm of locusts coming early, and behold, one locust, Gog, the king.” [LXX (seventy): Septuagint : Greek Old Testament completed as early as the late 2nd century B.C.], which is odd because Proverbs 30:27 says that locusts have no king. This is another hint that the end times locusts are supernatural beings. Rev 9:11 makes special mention of the angelic king of the locusts, giving his name in both Hebrew and Greek: Abaddon/Apollyon which shows that John might be drawing on Amos 7, so that it can clearly appear to his readers that he thinks of Gog, locust-king the destroyer and destruction agent of the Lord as an angelic group under their captain Satan (John 10:10; Isa 54:16; 1 Kings 22:21; 2 Chron 18:20),...since John actually mentions Gog by name in Rev 20:7-9, it may be that we should see this as recapitulating Revelation 9’s demon-locust army attack.
Thus the above scenario of demons invading the earth does not mean it can start to dislodge a human spirit from their body to use it, but rather it is the influence of the demonic possession over humans through involving them in sin that gives demons the space in human mind to make them do evil through them being under its influence (Eph 5:6), and in the same vein the oppression of demon can happen to a end time believer if he is involved in such sinful activities as his unbelieving counterparts in the world and may be seriously chastised by the Lord with sickness or even unto death to keep them from getting judged when His wrath comes upon all the earth and in their eternity (Matt 12:43; Luke 11:24; John 8:34, 23-24; Rom 6:12, 16; 1 Cor 11:30-32). From what we have discussed there can be no place for a angel to cause a DNA mix with humans to produce giants. The best a fallen angel will be able to do is to cause evil to come in to human mind and cause it to lust to make it sin through their evil actions (James 1:12-15). This was how the angels corrupted humans during Noah's time. It proves that there was no angel-human hybrid giants ever since creation.
16) HUMAN CAN ONLY BEGET HUMAN, AND NOTHING MORE THAN THAT : We see in the creation act of God that He had kept all the "seed [of herbs and fruit trees...to reproduce] in itself according to its kind," and thus God saw that this way to reproduce and multiply was good in His sight (Gen 1:11-12). He also did the same thing with living creatures in water, and the birds that fly across the expanse of heavens by creating according to its own kind, and there by saw that it was good and blessed them to fill and multiply in this way (Gen 1:20-22). He then also created the living creatures on earth like cattle, creeping things and beasts according to its kind and finally saw that to get multiplied like this is good (Gen 1:24-25). Finally when creating man God discussed within the Trintiy about it, and created him in His own spiritual image of the ability of tri-unity to co-exist as one (John 17:21, 22, 23; 14:17, 23, 26). Then God blessed them to pro-create and multiply to have dominion and exercise power over the entire earth of His creation and subdue it through filling it, but did not add the phrase "after his own kind" (Gen 1:26-30) because He wanted to fill the earth with the reflection of the likeness of God through humans which was seen by God as something very good (Gen 1:31). The above point is clearly proved when Adam begets a son after the fall who was called as someone "in his own likeness, after his [sinful] image [i.e. nature]" (Gen 5:3) but was renamed as "Seth" which means 'appointed' as the father of the sons of God instead of Abel through their faith in God's promise of a Messiah who will crush Satan and give salvation from their sins (Gen 4:25-26; Gen 3:14-15). Thus the doctrine of angelic-human hybrid who were giants born on earth were nothing but fables fabricated to destroy one's faith in the Messiah Jesus who has come to save all of us humans from our sins (Matt 1:21). Apostle Paul said that if any person who may even be an angel from heaven speaks any other gospel other than what has been revealed to you, let him be accursed (Gal 1:8), he said this because he knew by foresight that in the last days in which we are living, "deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons" will come to make some precious saints depart from the faith (1 Tim 4:1). Angels are greater in power and might than humans but never have been created in the image of God, but only as servants of God and man who are in God's image (2 Peter 2:11; Heb 2:9, 16; 1:14; 1 Peter 1:12; Psa 103:20-21; 104:4). O Church rise up and stay strong in the Lord!
17) NO SUPPORT WHEN IT IS NOT CANONIZED, AND HAS NO SUPPORTING CLEAR CUT VERSE FROM ANOTHER PART OF THE BIBLE : The idea that the spirits of dead giants (off spring of demons mating with earth women) inhabit the underworld (place beyond the veil) is thought to be supported here in the following verses : "26 “ There are Meshech and Tubal and all their multitudes, with all their graves around it, all of them uncircumcised, slain by the sword, though they caused their terror in the land of the living. 27 They do not lie with the mighty who are fallen of the uncircumcised, who have gone down to hell with their weapons of war; They have laid their swords under their heads, but their iniquities will be on their bones, because of the terror of the mighty in the land of the living. 28 Yes, you shall be broken in the midst of the uncircumcised, and lie with those slain by the sword." (Ezekiel 32:26-28, NKJV). In the above verse, it clearly speaks about "Meshech and Tubal and all their multitudes" being judged to become completely broken by the Lord when they try to cover up their violence and try to play deceit as though they have no swords to fight but were ready to fight against God and His people if the opportunity arises as shown above, and it is not even faintly speaking about the idea of the spirits of dead giants (off spring of demons mating with earth women) inhabiting the underworld (place beyond the veil). The above verses portrays that "Meshech and Tubal and all their multitudes" will not fight against their enemies and valiantly die in a battle, but by the supernatural hand of the terror of the Lord they will die in their sins without any natural honor on earth because of their deceptive way they have practiced in life. I have seen people use the Message Translation to justify their point to prove the opposite of what the above verses says about. The above verses should not be picked up in a particular liquidated translation of the Bible to make one's thought to be read in to that different translation of the Bible. The Message translation is good for inspirational study and understanding but never should it be used for doctrine formation or else it will become indoctrination towards the readers which some use for.
I use NKJV which means NEW KING JAMES VERSION and consider it to be the closest as much as I know to the original King James Version as well as to the Greek original Septuagint as well as to the New Testament Greek copies of the apostles. At the same time they maintain the contemporary understandable English without diluting any part of it. For example consider this following verse in NKJV, "But he does not know that the dead are there, that her guests are in the depths of hell." (Prov 9:18). In short the above verse simply says that a man who goes to a prostitute or a foolish woman living a loose promiscuous life will never know that a lot of men have already fallen in to this sin of the flesh to enter in to a hellish life without true peace of God which will lead to hell fire one day if not saved by God. See the same verse can be read out of contest in the following verse in the Douay-Rheims Version which is a translation of the Bible from the Latin Vulgate into English made by members of the English College, Douai, in the service of the Catholic Church. "And he did not know that giants are there, and that her guests are in the depths of hell" (Douay-Rheims Version, Proverbs 9:18).
In other words, the simple meaning of the Scripture has been taken out to imply and read the out of context meaning of the doctrine of angelic-human hybrid giants from Genesis 6 which Roman Catholic Church holds to make the people who hear it to believe that it was real when it is not. The same thing happens through out the following Scriptures to make the wrong doctrine of angelic-human hybrid giants to be implied as real when it is just a reel of lies. What these translators have done is, substitute the word 'giant' where ever the word 'dead' comes to read their doctrine as the true one, when in fact the word 'REPHAIM' which means the shades or spirits of the departed, dwelling in Sheol or Hades, generally rendered correctly in contest in most of our latest version is, "the dead" ("dead things," Job 26:5); Psalm 88:10; Proverbs 2:18; 21:16, etc.
But the same word also has an alternate meaning 'giants' which is used to comprehend all the gigantic races of the Canaanites, of whom there were several families according to its context in various places like in Genesis 14:5 in the time of Abraham, Num 21:33-35 Og king of Bashan his bed was nine cubits [i.e. about 13 feet / 4 meters] in the time of Moses was defeated by Him (Deut 3:11; Joshua 12:4), in the time of Joshua he fought giants and defeated them in the land of Canaan where their descendants lived and finally wiped them out (Joshua 11:22; 17:15), we also hear of them in David's time, in the city of Gath, 1 Chronicles 20:4-6. Also the giant Goliath and others were the remains of the Rephaim, or of the kindred family of Anakim (Num 13:33; 1 Chron 11:22-23). Their magnitude and strength are often spoken of in Scripture. They appear to have excelled in violence and crime, and hence are monuments of divine justice served upon them like in Gen 6 (Deut 2:10-11; 20-21; 3:11; Psalms 135:11; 136:20). To use the same word "giants" in all verses of the Bible where the word 'REPHAIM' is found, is to make it read like what they want it to read out of context totally. Such act of interpretation is to do great injustice to the Biblical interpretation of Scripture which is hermeneutics. That is what is done in the below Scriptures.
- "A man that shall wander out of the way of doctrine, shall abide in the company of the giants" (Douay-Rheims Version, Proverbs 21:16)
- "Hell below was in an uproar to meet thee at thy coming, it stirred up the giants for thee" (Douay-Rheims Version, Isaiah 14:9)
- "Let not the dead live, let not the giants rise again..." (Douay-Rheims Version, Isaiah 26:14)
A Biblical canon, or canon of Scripture, is a list of books considered to be authoritative Scripture by the Christian religious community. The word "canon" comes from the Greek kanwn and most likely from the Hebrew qaneh and Akkadian, qanu., meaning "rule" or "measuring stick". Any non canonized book that is not measured within the canon of the Scripture is considered as dubious because of their questionable value to the church, and was called 'apocrypha' to mean they are false, spurious, bad, or heretical..for the one main reason that many things are found in them corrupt, and against the true faith handed down by the Church apostles and elders. It has pleased them that they not be given a place nor be admitted to authority.
The non canonized book of Jasher, which is mentioned in the Bible in Joshua 10:13 and 2 Samuel 1.18 [i.e. where it is referenced as containing the Song or Lament of the Bow in the book of Jasher, that mournful funeral song which David composed at the time of the death of Saul and Jonathan] says, "After the fallen angels went into the daughters of men, [then] the sons of men taught the mixture of animals of one species with the other, in order to provoke the Lord" (4:18). Such kind of baloney of provoking the Lord outside of His omnipotence, omniscience and omnipresence, only a fool can accept such thing who does not know the Bible at all. Then the non-canonical Book of Enoch is an apocrypha of dubious authenticity which means the apocryphal writing called "the Book of Enoch," contains a statement resembling Jude’s, but there is no proof it existed at the time of Jude. The same book of dubious nature says that the fallen angels not only merged their DNA with women, but that "they began to sin against birds, and beasts, and reptiles, and fish" (7:5; 6), which is totally against the word of God which God has spoken about His Creation in the Book of Genesis where He says that His creatures can only beget of its same kind only.
Since A.D. 397 the Christian church has considered the canon of the Bible to be complete; if it is complete, then it must be closed. Therefore, we cannot expect any more books to be discovered or written that would open the canon again and add to its sixty-six books [i.e. 39 OT Books + 27 NT Books]. So the book of Jasher is not a fully inspired writing but rather was probably a collection or compilation of ancient Hebrew songs and poems praising the heroes of Israel and their exploits in battle. We know that God directed the authors of the Scriptures to use passages from many and various extra-biblical sources in composing His Word. The passage recorded in Joshua 10:13 is a good example. In recording this battle, Joshua included passages from the Book of Jasher not because it was his only source of what occurred; rather, he was stating, in effect, “If you don’t believe what I’m saying, then go read it in the Book of Jasher. Even that book has a record of this event.”
This above exposition clearly proves the point that unless a clear Scripture supports a obscure Scripture without any other Scripture opposing the view of it, only then it can be cleared to be taken to support a doctrine (Isa 34:16). So the bottom line is that neither the extra Biblical apocrypha books like Jasher and Enoch can be used to support substantiate the false doctrine of angel-human hybrid giants, nor can the out of context, loose and diluted Biblical translations can be used to justify and read in to the text a false doctrine like the angel-human DNA mixture.
18) ALL MEN WERE CREATED BY GOD WITH ONE BLOOD OF A MAN : Acts 17:26 indicates all nations are of “one blood” or “one man.” If some nations are a combination of angelic blood and Adamic blood, as the Anakites would have been in this view as well as the Nephilim pre-Flood, then there is a major problem — Acts 17:26 would be wrong. The Anakites were still living and breeding with many other people groups during Paul’s time. Thus, it presents a absolute problem to those who say angels bred with women. The man or the blood of one man who is referred in Acts 17:26 is none other than our forefather Adam by whose blood all the humans around the world have come in to existence. Thus there can be no human-angel hybrid of a mixed DNA that can ever be present on earth since creation to produce giants.
19) MARRIAGE IS BETWEEN ONLY A MAN AND A WOMAN, NO WHERE IN THE BIBLE IT HAD BEEN FOUND TO BE BETWEEN ANY OTHER THAN THIS : When Jesus spoke about marriage and divorce, He spoke of it as something between only a male and a female since the beginning of time in the Garden of Eden where God conducted the first marriage between Adam and Eve (Matt 19:4-6). If those which was said as sons of God and daughters of men in Gen 6:2, 4 were thought of mistakenly as marriages between fallen angels and women which produced children of mixed DNA, then it opens up the possibility of marriages that are not limited to man and woman, when the Bible is clear on this subject. So this proves again that there were no Human-Angel Hybrid except for those who dare to speak falsely against the truth of the first marriage institution which was established by God on earth as clearly described in the Bible.
20) NOAH ENDS THE WHOLE MESSAGE OF TRUTH AND GODLINESS WITH HIS LIFE THAT PREACHED RATHER THAN JUST HIS WORDS : There was a godly lineage from Adam to Seth and followed down the line to Noah: Adam–Seth–Enosh–Kenan–Mahalalel–Jared–Enoch–Methuselah–Lamech–Noah. The names in the Book of Genesis have meanings that when put together from the bloodline of Adam to Noah tells the Gospel.
1) Adam -Man
2) Seth -Appointed
3) Enosh – Mortal
4) Kenan – Sorrow
5) Mahalalel – The blessed God
6) Jared – Shall come down
7) Enoch – Teaching
8) Methuselah – His death shall bring
9) Lamech – Despairing
10) Noah – Comfort and rest
Put those meanings into a complete sentence and you get: Man (is) appointed mortal sorrow, (but) the blessed God shall come down teaching. His death shall bring (the) despairing comfort and rest.
There is no way that this is by accident. I believe this shows that the godly line was put specifically in each place till Noah so that this design by the Holy Spirit to hide the gospel in the text could be fulfilled. So Noah was a preacher of righteousness through his life of faith before all the people in his wicked generation where God puts a full stop to all ungodliness and gave time enough to get in to Noah's ark to escape the wrath of God that came to them through flood, today God asks people to get in to the Ark of the Church through the gospel of His only Begotten Son Jesus Christ to escape the wrath of God that is coming to the whole wide world through fire for its ungodliness (2 Peter 2:5; 1 Peter 3:20-21).
CONCLUSION : May we come to realize that the true faith people are being watched over by God and He wants us to live boldly with faith as Noah and walk along with Him even until Rapture happens. God wants us not to be distracted by all the wind of doctrines that are trying to make us fall from our steady faith (Eph 4:14), instead look unto Him by learning and speaking the truth in love that we may grow up in all things in to Him who is our Christ the Head (Eph 4:15). Never entertain a false doctrine like the human-angel hybrid of DNA mixture which will rip of your faith and will make you live in no man's land of spiritual wandering and will make you a fugitive to the old nature of sin. Avoid such people who hold and propagate such lies, because they might not have full truth in them and might also mislead you in to believing lies to lose your precious faith that carries a great reward now and for eternity (Heb 10:35).
