We as humankind need to look in to the Bible more than ever before to keep ourselves from the deception that is coming upon the world like a deep sheet of darkness and also prepare ourselves for the Rapture so that we may escape the wrath of God that is coming upon the world for its sinfulness and atrocities.
The swarms of locusts the size of major cities have been devouring entire farms in Africa in as little as 30 seconds. These swarms have also been spreading throughout the Middle East, Northern India and Pakistan, and now we have learned that they have even reached China...
A gigantic swarm of locusts that belong to a plague that has ravaged millions of acres of crops across east Africa has now been spotted reaching the Chinese border.
Billions of the insects have destroyed food supplies across Kenya, Somalia and Ethiopia in what has been described as the worst plague for decades. There are fears this swam could grow exponentially over the next few months.
Yes. Locusts.
This plague seems to be taking us right back to the Bible where in the Book of Exodus where we see the ten plagues to hit Egypt, locusts were the eighth.
Exodus10:12 reads: “And the Lord said to Moses, ‘Stretch out your hand over Egypt so that locusts swarm over the land and devour everything growing in the fields, everything left by the hail.”
Remember the last days spiritual weapon from the bottomless pit of hell which will be released during the time of Great Tribulation at the time of the sounding of the Fifth Trumpet and therefore "from the smoke [of bottomless pit] came locusts on the earth" (Rev 9:3) which were demonic spirits bound up till that time from the time of Noah, were released by sovereign hand through Satan who was given the key to bottomless pit to release these tormenting spirits which will make men on earth to desire death rather than going through such torment (Rev 9:1-12). For five months this torment according to the wrath of the Lord, will linger on earth after which two more woes will be coming to earth after these things (Rev 9:10, 12).
The army of locusts on earth are God's judgmental weapon of anger against the inhabitants of the land for their sin and lack of repentance towards God (Prov 30:27). But repentance will always make the Lord turn from his anger to show his mercy towards the repentant people and restore his blessing upon their lives (Joel 2:25). God has different types of locusts as weapon of his judgment for every ocassion and timing to make people turn towards him and repent so that times of refreshing came come to every one of them from the Presence of the Lord (Joel 1:4-5; Acts 3:19). Locust is an clean insect which we can eat except some types that we as humans are not supposed to consume, which conveys to us the message that when we deny God the space to live and enjoy within our lives through faith and holiness, our life which is supposed to be clean suddenly becomes unclean and our light become darkened within us without the Presence of God working through us (Lev 11:22). John the Baptist as a forerunner of Jesus, carried on eating locusts, wild honey and wore a leather belt around his waist and he was clothed in Camel's hair which shows us how much of a radical life of holiness he had lived for the Glory of God in the desert to continue to fulfill His plan for their lives (Mar 1:6). Even at the cost of all risks involved if we continue to pursue holiness, we would soon be in the center of the will of God to fulfill all His plans and purposes for our lives to live a effective and a purposeful life.
When God speaks and gives an order, young locusts without number come to some specific places as a sign of God's judgment to make the people living in those area to repent (Psa 105:34). Even in the midst of such a judgment of locusts upon the people of the earth, still it conveys to us sinners who could be the object of God's fatherly love for the people and how they could believe and live for the Glory of God (2 Chron 7:13; Isa 33:4). Locusts is God's judmental destroying weapon on unbelieving people's sin so that they can take this opportunity to repent for the lack of thankfulness towards God, and this also gives believers the opportunity to erase the past which God doesn't want them to continue to accomodate and be realigned straight in the midst of the will of God (Psa 78:46).
The plague of as many as 360 billion insects has so far devastated East Africa before moving over Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and India and are now knocking on the door of China. The locusts are God's devouring machines to judge the people on earth who live a lifestyle without repentance (Nah 3:15).
These locusts could wreak havoc on the winter wheat crops in a nation that is already suffering so severely.
The severity of these attacks are real, tangible and measurable. The question is, are these things the consequence of attacking the Christians and effectively declaring war on God?
The fact is, when Mao Zedong began to attack Christians in 1949, kicked out all of the missionaries, destroyed the church buildings, burned Bibles, and made evangelism illegal, China saw more death than any nation in human history. At least 70 million people died in China from starvation, famine, persecution, and execution.
For the past weeks we can almost see daily the news papers filled with news about locusts invasion from Africa to Asia.
Locusts can either be controlled biologically or through pesticides.
From the context of environmental protection, the benefits of biological control are more.
The former has high killing costs and pesticide residues, and the latter not only has no environmental pollution, but also can repair the biological chain.
After fighting the locusts, the ducks could become food too. In addition, after the ducklings are grown, the meat is tender, and after the locust eradication ‘retires’, it can become a delicious dish on the table of local residents, bringing economic income, the Chinese believe.
A chicken can eat 70 locusts a day, and a duck can eat more than 200, which has three times the combat capability. Moreover, ducks eat locusts in a carpet-like manner.
Ducks like to live in groups and are more convenient to manage than chickens. They have stronger vitality, foraging ability, and resistance to cold, which is suitable for survival in the wild.
Yesterdays news said, 'For friend Pakistan, China to send 1,00,000 ducks to stave off locust swarm.' These times of sorrow on the world are bringing the nations of the world together, so that the one world government could suddenly come as predicted in the Bible.
Locust swarms can fly up to 150km (90 miles) a day with the wind, and eat as much in one day as about 35,000 people. Think about it for a while, if so many peoples food are eaten away, then what about them? That is when famines begin to take control of nations after pestilence, depriving it of one of the most basic need for survival of humans, which is the daily food they eat.
How many ducks and chikens can be sent in to locust zones when it begins to suddenly take over the fertile lands for its food? In a few hours, all the crops will be eaten away by the locusts completely. If Pesticides are used through drones to kill locusts, the effect of it makes the same land less conducive to produce crops and may even have the unfertile effect upon it for years after that.
Only a month ago around January 25, 2020 billions of locusts swarming through East Africa which the experts said are the result of extreme weather swings, they have proven to be catastrophic for a region still reeling from drought and deadly floods. Dense clouds of the ravenous insects have spread from Ethiopia and Somalia into Kenya, in the region’s worse infestation in decades. The UN’s Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) estimated one swarm in Kenya at around 2,400 square kilometres -- an area almost the size of Moscow -- meaning it could contain up to 200 billion locusts, each of which consume their own weight in food every day. They said if unchecked, locust numbers could grow 500 times by June, spreading to Uganda and South Sudan, becoming a plague that will devastate crops and pasture in a region which is already one of the poorest and most vulnerable in the world.
In the Bible’s Book of Exodus, a plague of locusts was one the 10 punishments, which fell upon the lands of Egypt as punishment for enslaving the Jewish people.

According to the Bible, it is indeed the last days "signs in the earth beneath" that has been predicted by the Bible (Acts 2:19). The sign of the vapor of smoke on the earth that is described in Acts 2:19 which is the climate change factor happening now that causes locusts, will also be very much responsible for the darknening of the sun in the coming days.
The prophetic signs of the end times are here and the Second Coming of Christ is fast approaching, it is time for us to hear the unmistakable trumpet sound of God from heaven through these signs which are shown by God for us to repent of our sins and families and nations, to look to the Lord for God's solutions of abundant life and Rapture in these distressing times of the very end of the end times before the wrath of God will be released upon the world and its inhabitants for their sins and wickedness upon the whole wide earth (Rev 3:10; 2 Tim 3:1).
