Can We Really Find The Perfect Church?

Re : I Hope To Find The Perfect Church

Question : Thank you so much for the article, "God Wants To Use You By Filling You With Himself!". I have not finished reading it yet, but I am so exited, it is my experience that many churches run just like you describe, by having meetings and projects [without real Holy Spirit's fire].

Infact, I have never been to a church that was not like this, that is, staying in line with the Holy Spirit and not doing their own thing but waiting on God to tell them what to do. It is very very hard to find such a place. My dream is to find a church that is not an institution, but a group of people gathered together, all being the leaders of their own life with the help of Jesus, who should come in the name of God to love and help, but only do something if God is in agreement. I have not found this yet, I hope one day I will find it. Nobody is perfect, but I think God wants our loyalty and obedience to the best of our understanding and ability. Keep up the good work. Blessings...

Answer : You are right... no Church is perfect because God uses imperfect humans instruments in building His Church
(Eph 2:20-22; Matt 16:18). There is a saying that goes like this, "If you ever find a perfect Church, do not be a part of it because the moment you become a part of it, it will be imperfect." In other words, as much as we are a part of the Church (Eph 2:19; 1 Cor 12:27), still we ourselves are imperfect who are being perfected day by day (2 Cor 3:18; Eph 3:16; 2 Cor 4:16). Knowing this we can happily be a part of the Church where God wants us to grow and become progressively perfect like Jesus (Rom 8:29).

To be perfected in the exact image of Jesus will take a life time of pursuing for purity of life, after which we shall become perfect as He is in our sin free glorious body from the day of our redemption which is actually the day of rapture
(1 John 3:2-3; 1 Cor 13:10; Heb 10:14; 5:9; Eph 1:13-14; 4:30). Praise God that we can enjoy being a part of the universal Body of Christ being ourselves individually as its members because we too are in the same boat where the perfection that comes to us is in dependence and loyalty upon God's finished work in Jesus Christ (Heb 4:3). The Apostles did not say, "If you find the elders of the Church to be perfect, submit to them", instead they simply said, "Submit to the elders who rule over you, who have spoken the word of God to you, whose faith follow, considering the outcome of their conduct." (Heb 13:7). In other words, if you see a elder living a godly life of faith and good conduct, we can get connected to them spiritually and get blessed through them definitely. Those who are still young in age and spiritual maturity should always take inputs from the elders in all humility, so that God will look upon them with much joy and will bless their lives with much grace which will lift them up greatly in their spiritual lives and will make them a blessing to many (1 Peter 5:5-6).

You cannot find a perfect Church all your life, only imperfect ones which strive to be perfect. So may God help us all to enjoy with who we are and what God has given to us through his Divine appointments with in His Church
(1 Cor 12:12-14, 27, 31; 1 Peter 4:10-11). May we come to know that serving JESUS within His Church is the highest privilege that a human can get on this planet earth and we should consider it as a responsibility which will bring a great reward for eternity and also for our generations down the line (Heb 11:6).

Much Blessings.....

apostolicrevelation.blogspot.com is one of the world's fast growing popular Bible study websites, attracting thousands of visitors daily from all around the world. We follow a unique revelatory apostolic seer writing from the Scripture with Rapture taking place any time after Mid-Point but before Great Tribulation begins through Antichrist, we use dispensational interpretation of Scripture and believe the Bible teaches salvation by grace through faith alone, and the eternal security of believers. We will focus mainly on apostolic teaching that will edify, equip and empower the saints to reach their full potential in Christ Jesus. Our goal is the edification, evangelism and empowerment of the last day Church that the Lord Jesus Christ is raising up before His triumphant return!
