One little boy in the picture had a different hair color than the other members. One of her students suggested that he was adopted.
A little girl said, "I know all about adoption, I was adopted." "What does it mean to be adopted?" asked another child.
"It means" said the girl, "that you grew in your mommy's heart instead of her tummy!"
Truly we are not born in God's tummy but in His heart as exactly this little girl said.
Because of God's love in His heart towards us humans, actually God paid a price to buy us from sin and give us the right to be His child. And as a sign of His purchase our God has has sealed us with His Holy Spirit and have given the Holy Spirit as a guarantee of our inheritance that we are His child till the day we rise up in our glorious new metaphysical body as His sons to rule the whole universe along with His only begotten Son Jesus (1 Cor 6:19-20; 1 Peter 1:18-19; Rom 8:28).
We are actually looking towards that resurrection day and groan now when we see that we are affected by sin through our sin nature within that makes us alien to our Father God. But inspite of such feeling of alienation that comes to afflict us from Satan and his demonic cohorts through our sin nature, still the Holy Spirit makes us cry to God saying, "Abba Father" even in our weakness of our sin nature which afflicts us and then bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God (Rom 8:15-16). Because of knowing that our names have been written in the adoption paper of God in heaven, Jesus, the great apostle Paul and other apostles told us to rejoice more and more irrespective of the circumstances or trials we face in this temporal present life which will give way in to the eternal permanent life upon the day we die on earth or be raptured to meet Jesus in the air, which ever comes first (Luke 10:20; Php 4:4; James 1:2; 2 Cor 4:18; 1 Thess 4:16-17).
Now because we cry and pray to God with groans for all our problems (Rom 8:23), our Father in heaven now trains us to be more and more mature sons of His through the Holy Spirit who is our tutor until we are ressurected as perfect sons of God in the rapture in our future (Rom 8:26; Gal 4:1-7). Until then we increase in faith as more and more answers come to us from God the Father for all our prayer done in His will which will all be answered in His time (Gal 3:26).
The crux of the matter is, WE ARE ALREADY GOD'S SONS BY ADOPTION WHO ARE TRAINED IN OUR PRESENT LIFE TO BECOME MATURE SPIRITUALLY, SO THAT WE MIGHT RULE THE WORLD WITH JESUS IN THE FUTURE AS GOD'S GLORIFIED SONS. We shall be perfect like Jesus when we will see Him in our resurrected body on the day of rapture, until them we purify ourselves from sin and overcome the power of sin nature progressively by the power of God (1 John 3:2-3). Now as we endure suffering with Jesus according to the will of God in this world, we shall reign with Jesus as God's sons now in the spiritual realm and in all realms in the future (2 Tim 2:12; Rev 2:26; 3:21).
Say to yourself, "I am God's child because I have already been adopted by God when I first believed Jesus to be my Lord and Saviour (John 1:12). The guarantee that I have been adopted by God has been given to me when God first sealed me with the Holy Spirit for eternity ahead and have also borne witness through the same Holy Spirit within my spirit that I am His child. I now as God's son purify myself and progressively overcome the power of sin nature over me. Therefore now I reign over sin, sickness and death which cannot have continious dominion over me (Rom 6:14). Now I grow from one degree of glory to another degree of glory as God's son through the Holy Spirit (2 Cor 3:18). But soon when I will see Jesus face to face in my glorious body, I will be a perfect mature son of God just like Him. Praise the Lord!"
