Why God Allows Satan And His Angels To Act As Intermediaries Between Him And Humans?

But I have another question, my dear brother in Jesus Christ.

1) How Satan is allowed to go up to God's dwelling place to report about humankind, who are worshiping God through their Love towards God, wholeheartedly.

2) HOW LONG God will be allowing him to GET an immediate RESPONSE from God, Who Is WILLINGLY taking ACTION also, to TEST the FAITHFULNESS and LOYALTY of someone.

The name 'devil' describes Satan as slandering God to man and man to God. The former work is of course, a part of his great work of temptation to evil and is not only exemplified but illustrated as to its general nature and tendency by the narrative of Gen 3:1-7. The other work, the slandering or accusing men before God, is the imputation of selfish motives (Job 1:9-10), and its refutation is placed in the self-sacrifice of those "who loved not their own lives unto death." (Rev 12:10-11).

The Heavens Declare The Glory Of God

Let me make it clear, Satan once had access up to third heaven which is the highest place where God dwells, we also call it New Jerusalem or the city of God (Rev 21:2; Heb 12:22-23). When he sinned against God and got filled with pride, God threw him from this place and he fell from the third heaven (Isa 14:12; Ezek 28:14-15; 2 Cor 12:1-4). All the angels were only able to access up to the second heavens where he went and got them convinced about a separate kingdom through his lies, so from the second heavens again God threw Satan and his demons down to the earth (Rev 12:4; John 8:44).

Falling from heaven, they created chaos on earth and made it to become formless and void filling it with darkness and God turned their body in to ashes before all the good angels who were watching the creation of the earth (Gen 1:2; Isa 14:16; Ezek 28:17-18; Job 38:6-7). 

No One Can Stop God's Plan And Timing

Out of all chaos the Spirit of God moved over the face of the earth and continued with God's pet project work of the earth (Gen 1:2). But when God created the atmospheric first heavens (Gen 1:6-8), the angels must have rightfully as guarding angelic watchers by their calling seems to have taken residence in it, that is why God did not comment the happenings on that day as good in spite of the beautiful expanse of heaven created on that day (Gen 1:8; Dan 4:13, 17, 23; 10:13, 20; Deut 32:8; Eph 2:2). That shows how God feels about his permissive will in allowing things rather than exercising his perfect will, which has taken a backseat because of his creative Love towards His creation. 

As the Lord in the beginning set the ordinance of the heavens to have dominion over the earth through these angelic watchers (Job 38:33; Dan 4:35; Isa 46:9-11), now these evil angels wander here and there as disembodied spirits along with Satan seeking to posses and influence humans and animals to express themselves through them legally because of Adam our forefather who sinned and lost his authority to rule over the earth to Satan and his minions (Matt 12:43-45; 8:31-32; Luke 8:2; Rom 5:12; Rom 6:16).

Satan Gained The Lost Ground Through Lies And Deceit

Because of the fall of man in to sin, Satan gained back his place of rights to legally enter in to second heaven back, and he goes there is disguise as a angel of light because none can rebel and stand before the Lord of all the universe the God Almighty (1 Sam 6:20; 2 Cor 11:14-15), he goes there as a leader or in other words leading watcher representing the people on earth along with his demonic representatives of principalities, powers and rulers of the darkness of this age (Eph 6:12).

All the angels gather together on a particular day in the second heaven to report to the Lord of what they have been doing and take instruction from Him to execute His will (Job 1:6; 2:1; 2 Chron 18:21). Satan also goes as a angel of light to report of his work on earth (Job 1:7; 2:2).

God Guides Satan Drives 

Unbelievers are already in Satan's fold and he gets power from God on behalf of them (Eph 2:1-3), and distributes it to gain wealth out of it by trading for himself and keep the people in the nations around the world as a slave to sin and do his bidding and serve him in blindness (2 Cor 4:4; Ezek 28:18; Matt 4:8-9; Luke 4:5-6, 7).

Religions are one of the way Satan blinds people and keep them away from the truth of the gospel lest they believe and get saved (Acts 28:26, 27, 28).

God in his perfect will did not allow Satan to gain such a foothold over people by spreading his darkness of lies so strongly to deviate them from the truth, but in his permissive will he let it all happen in which Adam our forefather by his voluntary volition failed to obey God and instead sinned to make all of our human race to become sinful by nature within us from birth (Psa 51:5; 58:3; Eph 2:3). When I say permission, it is not some sort of positive sanction, rather God simply lets it happen. That does not mean, God was impotent to do anything about human sin to make man sovereign but it simply means that He does not directly intervene to prevent its happening, with a intention to work his greater good to humans through allowing them to choose and exercise their free will to invite Him voluntarily which He is always willing to do. God values the free will of humans so much, that it is one of the most powerful faculty that exists as the gift of God with him always sometimes used and many times being unused and misused due to ignorance and lack of godly knowledge which make them perish (Hos 4:6).

Safe In The Arms Of Jesus Whether On Earth Or In Heaven

As for the believers who have believed God through our Lord Jesus Christ, Satan has no more right over them because they have been transferred totally from the Kingdom of darkness of Satan to the Kingdom of the light of God, delivered from the power of Satan and darkness to be established in to the Kingdom of the Son of His love and power (Acts 26:18; Col 1:13). In other words, Jesus as the leader of our life is the one who receives the power for us from God and gives it now to the messengers of the Church who are the appointed leaders to dispense it in the life of people of God who come to them seeking for a solution from God (Eph 2:6; 1:20-21). This is the reason Jesus writes to the angel of the Church to instruct them directly how to lead the sheep's of God (Rev 2:1, 8, 12, 18; 3:1, 7, 14, 22).

Now the intermediaries who carry the power of God on behalf of His people directly are these fivefold gift of Christ who have been appointed in the Church (1 Pet 5:6; Eph 4:8, 11). They should be careful enough not to do the work of God deceitfully by compulsion or dishonest gain as lord over the people but as a example before them (Jer 48:10; 1 Pet 5:2, 3, 4). So every minister of God is called as a angel to represent God before the people and people before God. But the good thing is, every believer is called to be like this for the Glory of God and so there is no special clergy of professional experts who speaks and laity the ordinary dumb hearing sheep-people in the Church (1 Pet 2:5, 9-10). In other words, the purpose of the gifted gifts of the five-fold office and ministries of the Church is to empower all the other brethren to become like Jesus by themselves being an example to them (Eph 4:12-16; 1 Cor 11:1). In short, all the people of God are present in this earth to spread the Kingdom of God in all the earth (Matt 6:10).

So What Is Your Answer?

So the answer to your question is, to the unbelievers Satan still goes before God in the second heavens to continue to receive power as the representative intermediary of all those who are in darkness without the light of the gospel of God in them, but for the people of God only when God allows Satan to disrupt his people to chastise them towards holiness, Satan and his demons will be able to have immediate response as in the case of Job so that the fruit of the goodness of His and faithfulness towards God and loyalty towards Him can be grown and proved for the Glory of God (Heb 12:7, 10-11, 14; Job 1:12; 2:6; John 15:4, 7-8). But the good thing for the believer is, the Lord is compassionate and gracious to turn what the devil has done for us in to a double blessing of His at the end (Job 42:10, 12; Jam 5:11).

Very soon once the Rapture happens, the demons and Satan will be thrown out of the second heaven and instead the New Heaven and New Earth will be put in place for the saints to stay over there to restore the present earth through out the age of Millennium with Jesus and bring it in to subjection to God (Rev 12:7-12; Php 3:20-21; 1 Cor 15:20-28). It is not without reason that Satan and his demons are so sold out to promote the new age and the stories of alien visitation from another planet which shows that they are scared of God's plan to inhabit the Church in the new heaven and new earth to bring this earth in to subjection through the sons of God who are already in the making. Satan will be put in prison along with many of his tyrannical minions, who all will stay there for a thousand years time (Rev 20:1-3). Once the Millennium gets over and done, Satan will be let loose for a while in which he will deceive the rebellious sinners on earth to rebel against Jesus and his saints in spite of them receiving nothing but the goodness of God for their whole life (Rev 20:7-10), which will prove that man sins because of his depraved sin nature within him that rebels against God when opportunity arises, because for the whole Millennium these sinners had none to make them sin as the righteous rule of Jesus and the Church saints will have been done through the rod of the power of God. Satan also could not be blamed for their rebellion as they never had experienced his thoughts previously as he was in the prison until the end. And finally they could not blame God to not to be available to them to guide them to stay away from sin as Jesus would have been there with them physically present in Jerusalem giving them all the opportunity to learn from Him as He would have decreed to all nations to come and receive His blessings year after year or else experience curse instead (Zech 14:16, 19). So the depravity of the sin nature will be proved for eternity, which will justify and glorify God for his redemption through the blood of Jesus Christ our Savior and Lord (Rev 5:9-10).

God works all things together for the good of those who are called according to His purpose and those who love Him (Rom 8:28). We must remember that receiving the forgiveness of sins in itself is a huge blessing from God for which even eternity is not enough to be thankful for and praise Him, but the most wonderful thing about the great Almighty power of God is that, what ever evil Satan has done to destroy his people through sin, sickness and the curse of the law, God has promised to turn in to a eternal blessing that is something extremely good for us, and reward us in eternity if we continue to hold our faith and persevere for the Glory of God (Heb 10:35-36).

May we learn to rejoice and rejoice in to eternity for the Glory of God (Php 4:4)!

Do Satan And His Demons Now Have The Ability To Repent If They Like?

Can Satan And His Demons Be Given A Opportunity By God Now To Get Saved Like Humans?

Question: God is faithful to love all his own creations and is generous to allow everyone to choose the light or darkness as they will. He is giving grace period to everyone to repent and turn back to god, including Satan, who is after-all his own creation only. But he will take revenge upon Satan and his followers of fallen angels and poor humankind, once the grace period is over to justify himself, as the mighty righteous being in the whole universe. Glory to God and praising the Lord Jesus Christ through his Holy Spirit. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.

Has God had already PREFIXED the Everlasting Death of Satan to rule over Hell, his own Kingdom of Darkness? Who will be administrating the Hell, which is a Creation of God for the rebellious against God?

One more question, if you tell me that the devil has no chance to get saved, why the all knowing God who knows everything before He ever creates, should create evil knowingly and then condemn Satan as a transgressor and cause evil in this world. How could God justify Himself from this?

First point that you expressed saying, "God is faithful to Love all His own Creations and is generous to allow everyone to choose the Light or Darkness as they will" is absolutely true dear Brother. Praise the Lord!

But to the second point I disagree based on the Word of God, Satan cannot repent so does the demons who are behind him, because there was no external influence behind his error, it was their willing CONSCIOUS decision to rebel. That is why God shows mercy to the children of Abraham, but has decided not to show it to erring angels who sinned against Him (Heb 2:16). Satan and his demons have no grace period except the period of grace in which they are allowed to rule this present earth through influencing people which is the only mercy of God that he has shown to them in spite of their open rebellion against Him (Mark 1:24; Matt 8:29; Heb 2:5). Angels are the natural intermediary between God and humans in this present world and even when the law was again given to Moses, except for those who are born in the Kingdom of His Son in whose heart God writes his law again with His own hand who is the Holy Spirit of God and brings the one and only Mediator between God and men (Col 1:13; Gal 3:19-20, 21-25; Heb 10:15-16; Matt 12:27-28; 2 Cor 3:2; 1 Tim 2:5).

This following verse holds true to the situation of Satan and his fallen angels in the present time where Satan still continues as the "prince of the power of the air" (Eph 2:2), and the "god of this age" (2 Cor 4:4) who keeps on ruling this world in rebellion thus fulfilling, "What is wrong cannot be made right. What is missing cannot be recovered." (Eccl 1:15, NLT). By trading through his wisdom and using greedy humans, Satan has built earthly empires and kingdoms in the present world which he controls through the sons of disobedience (Eph 2:2; Eze 28:16; Luke 4:5-6).

We who have believed Jesus have become royal priest under our King Jesus (1 Pet 2:9), so who are we now? Kings under our King Jesus who rules over the entire universe (Rev 19:16), as a result of it, Satan and his demonic angels do not have any legal authority over us to rule us by sin, sickness, fear of death or anything else in this present earth which we live unless we give them voluntarily space to operate by our ignorance or willing participation (Rom 6:14; Luke 13:16; Heb 2:14-15). Satan had power of death to judge people who were under his rule of slavery in sin and still has over the unbelievers, until Christ came to rescue those who believe Him like us who have become the child of God in His Kingdom (John 3:16; Gal 3:26).

Satan is the pseudo ruler of this present age and does not rule over hell, because soon one day in hell fire when he has no authority to inflict damage upon anyone anymore, the kings and rulers who took his counsel and saw his terror on earth will gaze mockingly at him to say, "16...‘Is this the man who made the earth tremble, who shook kingdoms, 17 who made the world as a wilderness and destroyed its cities, who did not open the house of his prisoners?’" (Isa 14:16-17). Praise the Lord!

God loves all unbeliever and wants them to get saved before they will die physically and that is why God reaches them with the message of the salvation through the Cross of Jesus Christ (1 Cor 1:18; 1 Tim 2:3-6), after which they cannot change their destiny forever from the eternal condemnation of hell fire (Heb 9:27; 2 Cor 6:1-2; Matt 25:41, 46).

Does hell need a ruler or administrator? Hell needs no administrator for administration within because all of them will be bewailing for the lack of the Presence of God and his goodness in it (2 Thess 1:9). Hell will be like a museum for the saints in eternity to look in to it and return to God in thankfulness for saving us all by His blood (Isa 66:22-24; Rev 5:9-10). Surely it is a place of remorse where the fire is not quenched and the worms does not die forever (Mark 9:44; Luke 16:23, 24, 27-28). The power of His glory will not be available to the least of those who will live to burn in the hell fire. So no one can use anything to harm one another as all will be powerless including Satan who was once their head but now will be seen as less than nothing by the co-dwellers.

First of all God did not create evil, evil in itself is the absence of good that first came in to the heart of Lucifer [i.e. day Star] the highest creation of God in wisdom and glory until then (Isa 14:12; Eze 28:3). When in pride he wanted to become like God and be adored and worshiped from His creation, this is where the first sin came in to the universe which God had created (Isa 14:13-14). Thus nobody influenced Lucifer who took a conscious voluntary choice to allow pride in his heart which was the first greatest sin done in rebellion against God. Thus from that time onward the morning Star have become 'Satan' which means "accuser" or "adversary" against humans "to obstruct, oppose" them from moving closer to God (Jam 4:8).

Then we know from the word of God that this Satan who came in to heaven with that sinful heart started to convince good angels without sin to become evil angels in rebellion to God, thus one third of the entire angels started to follow Satan who lied and promised them greater significance and splendor, greater power and authority and glory more than in the Kingdom of God (Rev 12:4; John 8:44). If God knew that these angels were going to become demons, why did he create them? God could have created the angels like a robot to obey his Word but he gave them a free will of choice to either obey Him or rebel against Him as He is a creative God who values the rights of his creation to express with in a boundary around them to enjoy the goodness of God. So when the good angels who were the servants of God in heaven until then started to follow Satan, they became body less demons going to and fro to inhabit the bodies of people and animals to express themselves which in itself is a judgment of God upon them as a whole for their sin and rebellion (Matt 12:43-45; 8:31-32).

God knew everything because of His omniscience, which is the all knowing nature of God even before something ever happens in reality (Isa 46:10). God knows things just like a film director knows and has a story line to act, but the one who chooses to act in it comes to fit in to it by their own voluntary choice to fill the spot which he likes to act (Rom 9:19-29). God gave angels a choice to choose, and the angels who chose Satan's way were condemned to lose their body and those who chose to stay with God in obedience have been rewarded to continue in their own body of glory, that in the time to come they might be honored and glorified to work for the Lord with more and more glory and honor (1 Tim 5:21; Luke 15:7, 10; Heb 1:14; 12:22; Rev 22:8-9). God has given humans the choice to choose Him or live in rebellion in which they are born from their mothers womb (Psa 51:5; 58:3; Eph 2:3), but thank God for his freedom of choice through which people like us have come to believe Jesus Christ through whom we have received salvation from sin and eternal life to live with God in friendship forever and ever (John 3:16; 17:3). Those who do not have faith are already condemned in their sin because "men loved darkness rather than light" because of their evil deeds (John 3:19), which will soon be judged by God (Acts 17:31), and those who are unsaved will end in hell fire by their own choice to follow their own way of rebellion of Satan instead of God's way of eternal life of friendship with Him (2 Thess 1:9; Matt 25:41, 46).

Can humans be saved until their physical death? Yes until they physically die, God has given all humans the equal opportunity to get saved as it is the time of their salvation from sin to choose eternal life with God (2 Cor 6:2). But once they die, they do not have the power to change their destiny anymore, it is all over and done (Heb 9:27). But what about the fallen angels? As for the fallen angels, the time of choice to choose God's way of obedience or Satan's way of rebellion has been finished and done in which they have failed by their own conscious choice, and they voluntarily chose to follow Satan (Matt 25:41). Everlasting fire has been prepared already for Satan and his demons to be thrown in to it forever and ever, but those humans who choose to follow him and his demons will also likewise end up in hell fire for their evil deeds and sins done against the Lord.

Repentance is a gift of God given by God to those humans who are seeking him sincerely while on earth (2 Tim 2:25-26). There is no repentance given by God to the evil angels and Satan because they were not deceived in to sin like the humans who were deceived in to sin and rebellion by Satan himself, who spoke through the cunning nature of the serpent (2 Cor 11:3; Rom 5:12; Gen 3:12-15). The evil angels chose to live in rebellion against God by joining Satan the first sinner consciously by their own voluntary exercise of the faculty of their choice, and therefore were not given the gift of repentance leading to salvation like humans (Acts 11:18; 2 Cor 7:10).

What Is Praying In Tongues Mean? Is Praying In Tongues A Prayer Language Between A Believer And God?

The mystery of the Pentecost manifestations of Acts 2 have captured our imaginations for almost 2000 years, just as the 'Shekinah' presence of the OT have captured the imagination of the Israelites for nearly two thousand long years. Yet many things regarding 'tongues' remain a mystery which God is revealing more and more progressively from the Scripture as the day of the Lord is drawing nearer and nearer to us more than ever before.

I want to clarify one important thing in this article, that is, tongues in general means, "Glossolalia", it is the most commonly accepted term for speaking in tongues. It comes from the Greek words meaning "tongues" or "languages," and "to speak."

Even though we describe all tongues speaking as tongues, yet we should understand that it is divided in to three main category where it is used,

(i) TONGUES OF PERSONAL PRAYER LANGUAGE: This is a private prayer language that comes as a gift along with the gift of the Holy Spirit to every believer who seeks for it, that stays with a believer for the rest of his life to connect to God in an intimate way, worship him and speak the mysteries of His will back to Him for their lives and bring it supernaturally in to existence. It is used as a personal and intimate prayer language towards God which is a private gift, of which the Scripture clearly indicates it as "he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, no men or angels understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries", because God understands every sound and syllable made by the praying person in this category of tongues (1 Cor 14:2).

First Corinthians 14:2 says, “For he who speaks in a ‘tongue’ addresses God, not man; no one understands him; he is talking of divine secrets about his own life, others around him and for all the needs of this world in the Spirit to be met by God through His hand with proper worship, thanksgiving and praise added to the prayerful supplication in a way that everything that God hears is accepted perfectly by Him and is about to be fulfilled.” (Abi's).

This type of tongues cannot be used in public setting unless interpretation comes through themselves or other person which will show that the gift of tongues [(i.e.) different kinds of tongues and interpretation of tongues (1 Cor 12:10)] is in operation which was directed by God towards the public worship edification or public evangelism to gain the lost. Unless it is meant by God specifically to bring edification in the public Church meetings or used as a sign to speak in the native language of the hearers in an Evangelistic meetings, such public tongues cannot manifest at will according to speaker's will or desire except in the will of the Holy Spirit, who will use anyone according to God's will who is called to hold the gift of public tongues and is used by God to bring a change and make a difference for God on earth to establish His Kingdom (1 Cor 14:4, 5, 13, 22-25; 12:11).

Private tongues should be used only in private setting between men and God even when it is allowed in the public setting (1 Cor 14:39-40). Thus, "praying in the spirit" is typically used to refer to glossolalia as part of personal prayer.

(ii) TONGUES OF PUBLIC EDIFICATION AND DEMONSTRATION: It is used in public for the Church so that the congregation can be edified and many times as directed by God, it will be also used by Him in public evangelism to gain the lost making it as a sign from heaven to them that have not yet believed (Acts 2:5-13). Take notice that the private fellowship of the first Church meeting suddenly after the invasion of the Holy Spirit, becomes a evangelistic public meeting to win the lost through the apostles and disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ. That is why this particular gift of speaking in tongues was in operation which brought a miraculous message of God from heaven to these seeking unsaved people to gain them in to the Kingdom of God as it is a sign gift to unbelievers (1 Cor 14:22; Mark 16:17).

Nobody being uninformed and confused about this particular sign gift of God from heaven which comes in to operation to win the lost, should ever compare it foolishly with the private tongues which none but God only understand, to demand it foolishly along with the gift of the filling of the Holy Spirit that comes with the evidence of speaking in private tongues to God which only He understands. None should wrongly cite the first Pentecostal phenomenon as the evidence of a true baptism of the Spirit because they should not forget that a private fellowship time of believers was by divine appointment have become a public service where a public tongues was used by God as a sign to seeking unbelievers (1 Cor 14:24).

I would say, that the first Pentecostal meeting was conducted by God the Holy Spirit and the Trinity together by their own choice through the apostles and apostolic disciples. Thus in operation, it was the first Church meeting that suddenly through a mighty outburst of sound from heaven and accompanied with tongues spoken as a sign to unbelievers, was a unforgettable unique time where a private meeting without any previous notice from God was converted in to a public meeting where sign tongues for winning the lost in to the Kingdom of God was let loose by God. This sign tongue would be for the purpose of communicating God's Word with a person of another language who are not yet saved (Acts 2:6-12). So this one time unique meeting cannot be made as a principle, but rather an exception. In the house of Cornelius the same type of outpouring of the Spirit happened through Peter and his apostolic team, but nobody except the apostles understood that these new believers who have believed have spoken in private tongues that praises God (Acts 10:44-48).

In the same public tongues, there is a operation of it only within the Church which is not a sign tongue to unbelievers but rather a public edification tongues to believer which must be interpreted by a tongue speaker by praying for the interpretation or must be interpreted by some other person who has the interpretation gift if available which is what Paul implies as a direct prophesy from God for the encouragement of believers (1 Cor 14:26-31). Thus within the Church, using public edification tongues for saints without creating confusion by shouting without control and then blaming it on God or boasting about it in order to attract people towards themselves or acting as though it is public tongues when by the flesh they start to speaking in private tongues, are some of the pitfalls that need to be addressed in order to uphold the apostolic order which would be in accordance with 1 Corinthians 14:33 which says, “For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.” Thus this "gift of tongues" refers to a glossolalic utterance spoken by an individual and addressed to a congregation of, typically, other believers (1 Cor 14:13, 5, 27-31), or to unbelievers in their own language of mother tongue or in any of the know language to them to convey, reveal God's message to them directly (1 Cor 13:1; 14:22).

Thus glossolalia as part of personal prayer and glossolalic utterance spoken by an individual and addressed to a congregation, are two different things that should never be mixed to cause confusion to the uninformed or unbelievers because of lack of understanding regarding tongues.

(iii) TONGUES OF ANGELS FOR SPIRITUAL DEMONSTRATION: The third category of tongues are the tongues of angels which God lets us speak many times to wage spiritual warfare against the fallen evil angels or command the good angels in the army of angels who are ready to serve us the sons of God who are led by the Spirit of God as a pre-training for what is supposed to happen for eternity ahead (Rom 8:14; 1 Cor 13:1; Eph 3:10; 6:12, 18-19; Rev 22:9; Heb 1:14; Psa 104:4; 103:20-21; 1 Tim 5:21; Isa 54:17; Rev 12:9-10; Zec 3:1-5; Php 3:21). This third category of tongues is that which the Lord gifts all those willing intercessors who have submitted themselves for the Lord's will to be done through their lives (1 Tim 2:1; 4:5; Psa 72:15), to often use them to pull down strongholds and bring change to the very atmosphere of earth in nations around the world (Ezek 22:30; Jer 51:20-23; 1:9-10; 2 Cor 10:3-6). This third category of tongues may be used in any believers life, unknowingly to wage spiritual warfare for their own lives when they pray to God regularly in tongues to edify themselves and grow spiritually for the Glory of God (1 Cor 14:18).

These are not normal tongues, but may come out of us as loud commands or decree in the authority of heaven spoken directly to the angels in the heavenly places. These may also come as a rebuke from the Lord to the evil angels and a demonstration of God's wisdom to them. The Lord gets glorified in the spiritual realm the most, through willing surrendered vessels who are used in this manner.

Passages Cited For Praying In Tongues! 

Though there are four primary Scripture passages that are cited as evidence for praying in tongues in the New Testament: which are Romans 8:26; 1 Corinthians 14:4-17; Ephesians 6:18; and Jude verse 20, yet we should understand that it does commonly describes all the three main category of speaking in tongues which can be either directed towards God, fellow humans or the angels. But specifically the phrase “praying in the Spirit,” indicates speaking in tongues mainly as a prayer to God which is done through the personal prayer language, and not only that but also along with it any prayers that come in even know languages directly under the influence of the Spirit which Ephesians 6:18 and Jude 1:20 mentions, I mean the prayers that will build faith within and wage warfare in the Spirit that causes destruction and damage to Satanic kingdom of darkness that works against the children of God.

In short, all Spirit directed prayers are those that the Scripture calls as "praying in the Spirit". Some would like to reason out and say that Romans 8:26 to mean that it is the Spirit who “groans,” not believers. But they should understand that on the day of Pentecost the Spirit of God gave utterance, but it is the believers who began to speak with other tongues (Acts 2:4), this shows that even when the Spirit of God groans within which "cannot be expressed” to give a proper meaning to our mind or to others, it is the believers choice to express from within us what the Spirit wants to express through us, though it might not be an intelligible word or understandable groans to our mind.

If faith is not there, all of it will look like a meaningless babbling that has no value, but in reality God understands everything and rewards those who work in faith. When the very essence of speaking in tongues is uttering words, that which cannot be uttered even with words are expressed with a groans or sighs which carries meaning and expresses to God the intent for which it is expressed (Acts 7:34). So on one should limit God by the reasoning mind which will quench the Spirit of God (2 Thess 5:19).

What About Counterfeit Tongues? 

It is true that many of the cults and world religions also report occurrences of speaking in tongues/praying in tongues, where we know for sure that the Holy Spirit is not gifting these unbelieving individuals.

I for sure as a Christian who have experienced praying in tongues, I find it not only to be very personally edifying, but also I received it based on my faith and practice on Scripture (Gal 3:14). In other words, faith brought me to experience tongues, and not the other way around. Here is my Testimony of how I received it from God: SPIRITUAL COKE REFRESHMENT For The Soul AVAILABLE! Thus we must must seek our experiences in light of the Scripture and also view our experiences through the filter of the Word of God so that we may remain in the factual reality through the truth by faith, not interpret Scripture in light of our experiences which wrongly leads to deception many times.

Just because demons are able to counterfeit the gift of speaking in tongues, should not keep us from this supernatural experience of seeking the Baptism of the Holy Spirit by faith. For example, just because counterfeit currency is on circulation doesn't mean we should stop using true currency which is nothing but foolishness and fear that comes because of lack of experience in this field. But if you ask a expert what to do in such a situation, he will introduce the counterfeit among the true currency and make you understand the fine difference in identifying it, thus by making you understand the fine differences between the true and the false, we learn by experience not to be deceived by the external appearance. God does the same with the true gift of baptism of the Holy Spirit which we receive through the heaven's currency of faith which pleases God (Gal 3:14; Heb 11:6), and will expose his children to the counterfeit that people receive by deception to make the true believers understand the fine difference and also warn other believers from being deceived. This should cause us to compare even more carefully our belief and experiences with Scripture (Acts 17:11), and not make us run away from the true in fear of deception, as God has guaranteed never to get anybody be misled in to false counterfeit when they are seeking from His hand the Gift of the Holy Spirit directly (Luke 11:9-13). Are you seeking God for the gift of the Holy Spirit?

Certain people want to bring fear to the mind of the seekers saying, speaking/praying in tongues can be a learned behavior. They say that through hearing and observing others speak in tongues, a person can learn the procedure, even subconsciously. If this is the case, God himself would have warned the believers to be careful about this learned behavior which can contagiously affect his children's spiritual lives, but no where in the Scripture the apostles or even Jesus speak about this precious gift of the Holy Spirit and tongues in a negative way even for a fraction of a second.

Also the feeling of “self-edification” can be dismissed by some skeptics as natural when the human body produces adrenaline and endorphins when it experiences something new, exciting, emotional, and/or disconnected from rational thought, if that is the case, how about people like St. Paul who used the tongues for self-edification for years down the line so much in his life that he began to boast about speaking more than the entire Corinthian Church which was obsessed with the gift (1 Cor 14:18)? If apostle Paul had no excitement and refreshment after the initial days of experience with the filling of the Holy Spirit, definitely he would not have continued to speak in tongues so much more to boast it before the tongue crazy Corinthian believers who were misusing it? So we know that the rivers of living water that flows through the tongue speaking prayers towards God for self-edification and for building a awesome spiritual house for the Glory of God never ever decreases to supply the excitement when a person is disciplined enough to use it by faith daily day by day, year after year.

Praying in tongues is not what determines salvation, but something that a believer receives along with salvation or after salvation. Praying in tongues is not what separates a mature Christian from an immature Christian, because receiving a gift is no big thing as everyone is eligible as a child of God to receive it, but only those who receive it and use it consistently to receive the benefit of self-edification and use it to edify others to win souls and likewise build them up spiritually for the Glory of God can be appreciated as those who are wise and ready to receive their eternal reward of rapture and the eternal glory that follows it (Prov 11:30; Matt 25:10; Luke 21:36). Thus those Brothers and Sisters in Christ who practice consistently the private prayer language towards God for self-edification and who desire to excel also in the edification of the Church which is the Body of Christ on earth are worthy of our love and respect for now and for eternity.
