Please Keep Me In Prayer

Please Pray For Peace In My Family

Prayer Request: Dear Apostle,

I am having a lot of trouble adjusting with my mother especially her dominating nature, not allowing me to go to the right church or pay tithes.

I have to give all my salary to her. I feel she is being mislead by someone. She contacts Hindu poojaris as well as pastors.

Please pray that there will be peace in my family. Kindly pray that God will help me find a Godly husband.

I am #32 years old working in Dubai. Please keep me in prayer.

My Reply:
Greetings in Jesus wonderful name!

You are a child of God and the Lord is concerned about your life. I want to tell you that a controlling spirit works with your mother and is trying to control your spiritual life to make you defeated in your mind and also keep you in unfruitful ways. There is a place of boldness where you need to decide whom will you hear, according to the will of God you stand in faith to ask the help of your personal teacher and work towards godliness by saying, "[Help me]... obey God rather than men [which includes your family members or friends or whomever it is]," (Acts 4:19), and then take spiritual help from a good local Church who will then continue to pray for you and support you in your godly endeavor.

My prayers are with you. I believe you need to grow in the Word and the Spirit to face the world, self and Satan, face to face, and win over it by the power of the blood of Jesus and through the confession of your mouth speaking all the positive promises over your life.

Please do take a print out of who you are in Jesus Christ, mark it in your Bible and confess it daily over your life to break the bondage of the religious spirit that is harassing you. Here is the link from which you can take a print out : http://apostolictitbits.blogspot.com/2011/03/if-you-really-believe-in-jesus-confess.html

Break the curses of the evil one by believing who you are in Jesus. You are a child of the Most High God, and you will glorify your Father in Heaven as you come to know about who you are in Christ Jesus.

“For no matter how many promises God has made, they are ‘Yes’ in Christ. And so through him the ‘Amen’ is spoken by us to the glory of God.” (2 Cor 1:20).

All the promises of God in Christ are yes and amen for the Glory of God. So take hold of as many promises of God as you can, and by faith say amen to all of it. Soon these seeds of faith will sprout out of you to one day become trees of blessings as you nurture it over and over by praying over it. You will stay by its shade to experience the blessing of God, and others will seek for its the blessing of its shade too. Praise the Lord!

Remember, who you are in Christ is who you really are!

You have to come out of the controlling web which your mother have kept to keep you, and ask the Lord for boldness to come out of it. Demons are working strongly to keep you away from the source of life eternal through your domineering mother. Controlling even one's children beyond a age is playing witchcraft against them, such things will keep you away from going to the right church or pay tithes which are very important for your spiritual well being and blessings.

You give to God what belongs to God (Mark 12:17), and you support your mother if there is a need for her (Mark 7:10-13), or else as an adult you should be able to use your resources to plan your future and execute the plan of God for your life by saving it. As the Bible says, "The wise [hu]man saves for the future, but the foolish [hu]man spends whatever he gets (Proverbs 21:20-22, TLB).

She is denying you your basic rights to go to Church because the work of darkness is strongly ruling your mothers life (John 3:20-21), so even if she goes to Poojaris as well as Pastors it is not something to get surprised about, as it is a confirmed spirit of Jezebel which promotes idolatry, and also makes her to influence both the poojaris as well as the back-boneless pastors as a agents to fulfill her wishes (Rev 2:18-15). Jezebel lives only for herself, and when you try to reveal it, it will start to stab you as a unfaithful character to hide her true intent of pleasing herself. Part ways with such a control freak, or else it will be spiritually debilitating and injurious for your long term spiritual health from which it is hard to recover, and it takes so many years and even decades to heal the wounds it has caused in your soul.

But above all pray to the Lord Jesus and give you burdens daily to Him and He will carry you through safely in to His will through His peace and make you experience His abundant life (Php 4:6-7). Then learn to think always positively and good, in order to renew yourself to excellence which is in Christ Jesus (Php 4:8-9).

Always no matter what kind of storm you are facing in your life externally, internally the peace of God which you receive through prayer done daily, will carry you moment by moment in to God's glory through His grace which is your supernatural strength you receive to overcome trials, and soon before you realize the God of peace who is our Lord Jesus Christ will crush Satan and his demonic cohorts under your feet shortly (Rom 16:20). Overcoming faith which pleases God is not absence of storm, but presence of peace within which makes you face the storm and still stand victorious among the ruins caused by the storm all around us. True victory is defeat overturned by faith at the end of it all.

Hurrah and victory are in Christ Jesus and our willingness to say 'Amen' to all His promises day after day to see the fulfillment of it all in our lives through faith is the key to be successful spiritually and live a overcoming life to fulfill our destiny in God.

Marriage is the first direct act of God done to show to his creations how much He is concerned about their individual life, and the need for companionship on earth without which it is not good for any human to carry on meaningfully in this life (Gen 2:18-25). Glory to God! As you keep praying for the will of God to be done in your life in the area of your marriage, God will soon bring the right godly partner for you to live happily in Him. So learn always to rejoice in Him and again I say rejoice (Php 4:4). All of lives trials are God's way of bringing you to the school of God where you educate yourself to become like Him in your character, which can only glorify Him for the rest of your eternity ahead and be rewarded with heavenly inheritance that never perishes. Praise the Lord!

What Could Be The Message Or The Meaning Be?

I Had A Dream Of Rain And Thunder

Question: Dear Apostle,

I had a dream of rain and thunder. I am inside my Grand mother's house closing all windows to protect myself.

What could be the message or the meaning be?

Answer: Greetings in Jesus wonderful name!

Wow! It is a good dream.

The Bible tells us to, "
Ask the LORD for rain in the springtime; it is the LORD who sends the thunderstorms. He gives showers of rain to all people, and plants of the field to everyone." (Zech 10:1, NIV).

Also as you have been thirsty spiritually all these days, God has heard and have seen your cry towards him, so that now he is releasing a new life and living to you through the power of the Holy Spirit by saying,
"For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out my Spirit on your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants." (Isa 44:3, NIV).

This is indeed a holistic promise of God's blessing that comes through the outpouring of the Spirit upon your life, which will make you see the blessings of heaven in your spiritual, soulish, physical, financial and social areas of life and living.

This promise of God from heaven has reached you and is leading you in to further revelation of God's goodness and mercies because of the promise of God that says,
"Anyone who believes in him [i.e. Jesus Christ] will never be put to shame." (Rom 10:11; Psa 23:6).

Just like God watched over your Grandma to protect her to bring your parents in to existence, and bless them with you to help them bring you up to become what you are today, God will help you and protect you and your future family all the days of your life and will never leave you as a orphan
(Gen 28:15; John 14:18-24). God's presence will be with you in a special way (Exo 33:14)!

No enemies of the Lord can from now on be able to sneak in to your life as you follow Jesus Christ your Master, who helps you to close all the widows of threatening's through which people have kept you in fear and fruitlessness
(2 Kings 9:30; Jer 9:21). You shall become fruitful enough to be a blessing to many in the coming days (Matt 13:23; John 15:8).

Certain people might have been searching for a person within your relatives circle itself and might have told you about it too in the past, which you were looking and might have considered, but it might not have worked out the way every one wanted it to
(Prov 7:6-23). But I say, do not stop looking for a godly life partner with spiritual values by opening your window, though it may take time, it will be worth the wait because the Lord is bringing you the right person you are looking for and showers of blessings are on the way because of your faith (Heb 11:6). When faith works with patience, your destiny gets fulfilled (Heb 10:35-36).

Does The Genealogy Of Cain Is On Earth Still Or No More?

Who Are The Kenites?

Question: Who are the Kenites? Lots of views shared which says, all these false religions in Christendom too are from Kenites, means generation from Cain whose genealogy is not mentioned in the Bible?

Answer: Greetings in Jesus wonderful name!

Wikipedia explains the Kenites in the Bible as, "Living in or around Canaan as early as the time of Abraham
(Genesis 15:18-21). At the Exodus, Jethro and his clan inhabited the vicinity of Mount Sinai and Horeb (Exodus 3:1). Moses’ father-in-law Jethro, was a Kenite (Judges 1:16), resident in the land of Midian. Judges 1:16 says that his descendants "went up from the City of Palms with the men of Judah to live among the people of the Desert of Judah in the Negev near Arad." The "City of Palms" appears to be Zoara or Tamar in the upper Arabah.

However, in
Exodus 3:1 Jethro is said to have been a "priest in the land of Midian" and a resident of Midian and a Midianite (Numbers 10:29). According to the Book of Genesis, the Midianites were the descendants of Midian, who was a son of Abraham and his wife Keturah: "Abraham took a wife, and her name was Keturah. And she bare him Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah." (Genesis 25:1–2). This has led many scholars to believe that the terms are intended (at least in parts of the Bible) to be used interchangeably, or that the Kenites formed a priestly part of the Midianite tribal grouping. The Kenites journeyed with the Israelites to Canaan (Judges 1:16); and their encampment, apart from the latter's, was noticed by Balaam (Numbers 24:21-22)."

We must understand that Cain's descendants were clearly described as those who were completely godless in the pre-flood times
(Gen 4:9-15, 16-24), out of which the beautiful "daughters of men" came out to seduce the godly "sons of God" who were separated and kept as godly faith based community by God through Seth (Gen 6:2). Violent men with no godliness were the byproduct of the unholy alliance that happened between the Canaanites and Sethites, and God was not pleased with this disobedience to the voice of God that came through the Spirit which was guiding the faith community of people, and thus the whole mingling of the godly and the godless came to a full stop through the great deluge that God brought out in the times of Noah (Gen 6:1-12). It completely wiped out even the smallest trace of the genes of Cain that was present in the whole earth, it was sin and unbelief that brought this curse of death to Cain and his descendants (Gen 6:13). Remember, Noah was a Sethite who pleased God through His life and found grace "through faith" in the eyes of the LORD (Gen 6:8; Eph 2:8). So according to the Bible, the Kenite was a descendant of Noah through Abraham.

At a later period, some of the Kenites separated from their brethren in the south, and went to live in northern Canaan
(Judges 4:11), where they lived in the time of King Saul. The kindness which they had shown to Israel in the wilderness was gratefully remembered. "Ye showed kindness to all the children of Israel, when they came up out of Egypt," said Saul to them (1 Samuel 15:6); and so not only were they spared by him, but David allowed them to share in the spoil that he took from the Amalekites (1 Samuel 30:29).

Other well-known Kenites were Heber, the husband of Jael, and Rechab, the ancestor of the Rechabites
(Judges 4:11,17,21; 5:24).

The bottom line is, even though some of those who followed the LORD GOD of Israel who created the whole world and its inhabitants were not the direct descendants of Abraham, as like in the Kenite genealogy, they had faith in the true God and lived a godly life of reverence and worship towards Him
(Isa 40:27-28). Job lived around in Arabia around the time of Patriach Abraham, but He knew the true God who created Him and even they had community of people who were godly and friends to him (Job 1:1). The book of Job was the first book of the Bible and Genesis came through Moses much later. Joseph married a Gentile priest's daughter, because that priest had faith enough in the God of Joseph and God of Hebrews as the real Creator God who rules the world, so that he was ready to give his daughter in marriage to Joseph (Gen 41:45). Marrying a Egyptian girl made Egyptians to identify Joseph and the Israelites to be one among them, even though Joseph remained the dominant partner to lead his family in faith and truth. God used this marriage to strengthen Joseph’s new position as a national leader.

We also know many people apart from those mentioned above who were from the Gentile background but had faith in the God of Israel their Creator, Rahab clearly was a prostitute, and a Gentile, living in Jericho but she had faith in the God of Israel her Creator
(Josh. 2:1). Ruth, also a Gentile, was a widow but had faith in the God of Israel their Creator, these all were displayed in the Glory of the genealogical line of the Messiah Jesus Christ. What made the difference in their lives to get their names in to the faith hall of fame, their simple trust in the God who created them which altered the way they lived by the fear of that God who is worthy of all their worship and reverence. This simple faith made God honor them as they honored Him and pleased Him with their lives.

God honored the Kenties too as they trusted Him with simple faith, so there is nothing in the Bible to relate them to the false religion in Christendom. They are not related to Cain's blood line in anyway too.

Much Blessings...

What Is The Woman's Work Within The Church And, Are There Only Sixty Six Books Or More In The Bible?

Is It Ok For Woman To Be Ordained In To The Ministry And What About The Books of Enoch and Maccabees?

Question:
Brother I have Two questions, 1. Do you seriously think it is O.K. for women to be ordained into the ministry, cause the way I see it in the Bible and have been taught in the past by my pastor it excluded them.

2. I recently been in discussion with this gentlemen about the books of Enoch and Maccabees, they truly believe these’s books are divine and have been taken out of the Bible, I use king James version they think this Bible is not complete.

Answer: Greetings in Jesus wonderful name!

1. REGARDING WOMEN IN MINISTRY: Let me clearly tell you, that I believe in the ordination of a woman who is called by God, as much as in the ordination of a man who is called by God
(Heb 5:4).

Unless a person is gifted by God, none can do the work of ministry for the Lord
(Eph 4:11). When Jesus ascended, He gave gifts to men which means it is Jesus who decides who should be in ministry of public speaking and who should be in other parts of the ministry behind the scenes (1 Cor 12:22-25).

So digging deep we come to see the most important thing for a ministry is the outpouring of the Spirit which Jesus told all apostles to wait for after which He let them start their ministry from their city, extending to their district, and then their state, and then their nation and then finally in to all the nations around the world to preach the Gospel and teach the Word of God, in it Jesus made no gender distinction in receiving the Spirit which is represented with the phrase
"all flesh" (Acts 2:17), then Jesus foretold that our "sons and daughters" will prophesy and the only code of conduct implemented for women while doing this activity within the Church is to cover their head as revealing to angels on high that a symbol of authority is presiding over them, while men need not do it as they are under Christ (1 Cor 11:3-11). This prophetic utterance can come only by the divine inspiration of God and is no mean thing, when God promises and calls his servants equally without gender differences saying, "My menservants" as well as "My maidservants", as those who shall prophesy (Acts 2:18). When God Himself treats equally both gender in ministerial area, and says to treat equally women as well as men who are gifted to prophecy, who are we to stop them from doing the work of the Lord against the will of God.

That is why we see so many unique woman of God in every generation who did great things for the Lord through preaching the Gospel, teaching the Word of God and becoming great missionaries to distant land where people were living in ignorance, curses and sins of darkness, thus being a light and making a difference in times past and present.

Having said all the above things, I also believe that women should follow the Divine order that God has set in the Church to learn the word of God from mature men or their husband and become mature in their ministry outreach. Also it is not good for them to exercise authority over men, because easily they have the chance to get deceived when they are not in submission to mature men of God
(1 Tim 2:11-14). The primary purpose of a woman is to "manage the house" (1 Tim 5:14) and within it the priority is that all "4 ...young women [should learn to] love their husbands, to love their children, 5 to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be blasphemed." (Tit 2:4-5). Once they have done these things and become old and mature in their character, they become empowered to admonish other young women to Godliness and maturity (Tit 2:3). Once submission to husband is perfected, "the hidden beauty of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit" becomes so precious in the sight of God that He starts to rejoice over them (Eph 5:22; 1 Pet 3:4; Prov 5:18). There after He opens a lot of opportunity for them to minister for the Glory of God to children, women and the Church at large even to men if God has called and have gifted certain women to use them uniquely. Women operating in the ministry and being ordained is not a principle, but it is indeed a exception when it comes to public ministry over everyone including men. Certainly even in the Old Testament times God used some humble women in the ministry of leadership, yet they never dared to rule over men but rather served all people in humbleness even when there were need to serve men in public ministry for God's sake.

2. REGARDING THE CANON OF 66 BOOKS OF THE BIBLE: When it come to the books of Enoch and Maccabees, and even the other books which the Roman Catholic church adds to the Old Testament Hebrew Bible in which it was not originally present, they call it as deuterocanonical
[i.e. (of sacred books or literary works) forming a secondary canon], but we as protestants consider them apocryphal [which means 'writings not forming part of the accepted canon of Scripture, (of a story or statement) of doubtful authenticity, although widely circulated as being true.'] The reason we do consider books like these as dubious is because they do contain teachings that are contrary to the core fundamental doctrine of salvation in which we stand (i.e.) only by grace, only through faith and only through Christ, in other words we believe faith plus nothing leads us to salvation and that is the same way we keep the salvation without adding works of any kind to keep us saved until the end of our life on earth. We are saved not by good works, but for good works that God has prepared beforehand that we should walk in them for the Glory of God and to inherit the eternal reward waiting for us in heaven which are the treasures we collect in heaven for our earthly service and sacrifice (Eph 2:10; Matt 6:19-21).

The Catholics have 46 Old Testament books rather than the 39 found in our Bibles. The apocrypha was not in the Hebrew canon. There are reputed to be 263 quotations and 370 allusions to the Old Testament in the New Testament, and not one of them refers to the Apocryphal books. It was actually not until 367 AD that the church father Athanasius first provided the complete listing of the 66 books belonging to the canon.

(i) He distinguished those from other books that were widely circulated and he noted that those 66 books were the ones, and the only ones, universally accepted.

(ii) The point is that the formation of the canon did not come all at once like a thunderbolt, but was the product of centuries of reflection.

The Church Councils at Hippo (393) and Carthage (397, 419), listed the apocrypha as Scripture. Since these same councils also finalized the 66 canonical books which all Christians accept, they must accept them all.

The Books of the Old Testament "Ezra, Nehemiah, Esther" were always included in the "history collection" of Jewish books and "Ecclesiastes, Song of Solomon" were always included in the "poetry collection", but none of the apocryphal books were ever quoted in the New Testament. Not even once! While Jesus and His apostles often quoted from the Septuagint
[i.e. a Greek version of the Hebrew Bible (or Old Testament), including the Apocrypha, made for Greek-speaking Jews in Egypt in the 3rd and 2nd centuries BC and adopted by the early Christian Churches], they never quoted from the Apocrypha.

Some would like to reason out saying, because Jude cites the apocryphal book of Enoch
(Jude 14, 15), they say that the very book as a whole has come by Divine inspiration, to that I say, just because Paul cites the name of the magicians of Pharaoh who opposed Moses, all the Egyptian literature's cannot become Divinely inspired books and therefore cannot be added to the mainstream as it is outside the canon (2 Tim 3:8). These names are not mentioned in the Old Testament. From the above we learn that when the Biblical writers write from extra Biblical sources outside of Canon, they are appealing to the culture of the times they lived in who knew it well, and that does not give any special divine inspiration or authenticity to the source they refer to unless it is directly taken from the canonized Hebrew Scripture.

The King James Version (KJV), also known as the King James Bible (KJB) or simply the Authorized Version (AV), is an English translation of the Christian Bible for the Church of England, begun in 1604 and completed in 1611. This original King James Bible included all the books from the Septuagint, including what are called the Deuterocanonical books - the Apocrypha.

King James gave the translators instructions intended to ensure that the new version would conform to the ecclesiology of, and reflect the episcopal structure of, the Church of England and its belief in an ordained clergy. The translation was done by 47 scholars, all of whom were members of the Church of England. In common with most other translations of the period, the New Testament was translated from Greek, the Old Testament from Hebrew and Aramaic, and the Apocrypha from Greek and Latin.

You using King James Version is the closest to the original Septuagint which Jesus and the apostles used, and without diluting the basic structure and words, you can read in the contemporary language in (NKJV) which means New King James Version. By the late 1700s, British printings of the KJV typically excluded the Deuterocanonical books as well, as the Church of England become more explicitly Protestant. Sometimes we need to understand fully the history of Apocrypha to actually reject such extra Biblical sources, which can lead people who believe it in to deception. God provided canon to purify His holy Word from man made unholy doctrines of the devilish deceptions. So let those who understand, let them understand more for the Glory of God. Those who are deceived, let them be deceived more
(Rev 22:11-12).

Much Blessings....

Is Not Prosperity The Will of God? If Yes, What Is Wrong With Prosperity Gospel?

Is Prosperity Preaching Causing Spiritual Cancers On The Soul Of The Hearers?

By Abraham Israel

Looking on the well dressed in nice suit, golden ring in one's finger, golden bracelet and quality shoe on one's feet never can convey the true spirituality of a person. A man can have all the wealth, yet can choose to be poor in the spirit and have a broken heart which the Lord loves
(Matt 5:3; Isa 66:2). Look at David and Abraham, they were wealthy, but their heart was not set on wealth but on God who gave them the wealth (Gen 13:2; 22:12; 1 Sam 13:14; Acts 13:22). God clearly conveys the truth that we should not judge by what we see but rather by what we hear from God (Isa 11:3-4; 50:4) as God says, "Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the LORD does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart." (1 Sam 16:7). A human can be rich and yet spiritually very poor, or a person can be poor but yet spiritually rich in faith (Jam 2:5). A person who is rich has a tendency to trust in his riches rather than God, a poor person too has a tendency to trust God easily when there is nothing else in his life but to depend on God who provides to those who trust Him (1 Tim 6:17-19).

Is It Wrong To Be Prosperous?

It is not wrong to be rich, but to set one's heart on prosperity and riches is absolutely wrong because only God is worthy of filling our heart and its desire fully. God has given the rich all the riches so that he can use the riches he has to share his riches for good works like helping the needy, supporting for the extension of the Kingdom of God, being ready to give, willing to share, thus by doing they are storing up for themselves a good foundation for the time to come, that they may lay hold on to the riches of the eternal life. Jesus Christ though was the richest person in the entire universe,
"yet for your sakes He became [so very] poor, in order that by His poverty you might become enriched (abundantly supplied)" (2 Cor 8:9, Amp), with all the spiritual blessings to help us live a effective life to fulfill the purpose of God for our lives (Eph 1:3; Acts 13:36). Poverty exists in the world because of the inequality among humans, which further exists because of the sin nature that acts through them (Prov 22:2, 16). So poverty and failure in itself may not be a permanent state for every person who is diligent to use His resources that God provides to build (Prov 10:4). It is not wrong to be born poor, but to stay poor is a crime of laziness of mind that must not be entertained. In other words, a person who is truly poor is the one who is poor in his mind. When a person knows the world and all the things that are in it belongs to the Lord, in a moment of time, by becoming a child of God, there is a chance for them to become rich with all the riches in all the world spiritually (Psa 24:1-3). Though God is able to make all His children rich, but he chooses to keep them supplied with the need and not the greed, because God concentrates to build His very own character of giving in his children and make them fit to receive the eternal riches for the life lived by them according to his purpose in this world. God knows that the very blessing of riches can become a snare to them to keep them from fulfilling his very purpose and will for their lives, so for the benefit of the spiritual life of his children now and the eternal dividend that is waiting to be received in the future by them for living a purposeful life now, God supplies the need of His children.

The emphasis of the New Testament is not on the material, as the world with sin will have injustice until the Kingdom of God comes to take over it very soon at the Second Coming of Jesus, its emphasis is being rich in faith and then being rich materially with God supplying all the needs and not the greed of one's heart
(Rev 19:14-15; 20:4-5; Php 4:19; Prov 23:4; 3:5). But there is no pressure put on anyone by the New Testament writers to become rich, instead they have only warned against having the desire to become rich materially which leads them in to all unlawful ways of evil and losing the focus on the eternal life ahead which is more important for humans as only wholehearted devotion towards God can make them rich for eternity ahead (1 Tim 6:9-11; Matt 16:26). In the New Testament, it is not God or the Devil to choose, but the choice is rather between God or the Mammon [(i.e.) money, material wealth, or any entity that promises wealth, and is associated with the greedy pursuit of gain.] Whom will we serve is the question? So where does the prosperity Gospel of health and wealth stand? With God or against God? Is it speaking in favor of Mammon or against it? Surely the prosperity Gospel as we can easily identify is more tilted toward material accumulation and comfortable life, more than living sacrificially to fulfill the purpose and will of God for our lives. Jesus proved that being poor materially, does not restrain anybody from fulfilling the will of God and purpose of God for his life (Luke 9:58). In other words, you do not need tons of money to do a powerful ministry, and give that as a reason to the people of God for you receiving more and more money to feed yourself and your own desire instead of sacrificially doing ministry for the Glory of God. And this is what matters at the end of our life. Have we used what we have to serve God faithfully and fulfill His will?, if yes, then more will be given to fulfill the will of God in greater capacity in our lives (Matt 13:12).

Prosperity Theology And God Cannot Go Together, Only One We Can Choose To Pursue!

Prosperity theology
[(i.e.) sometimes referred to as the prosperity gospel, the health and wealth gospel, the gospel of success or seed faith] is a religious belief among some Christians, who hold that financial blessing and physical well-being are always the will of God for them, and that faith, positive speech, and donations to religious causes will increase one's material wealth. Prosperity theology views the Bible as a contract between God and humans: if humans have faith in God, he will deliver security and prosperity.

The so called prosperity of health and wealth which gets hotly pursued by people of prosperity theology, who instead of pursuing God with a whole heart, without their conscious knowledge because of deception they start to pursue mammon which then becomes the prime idol of their heart
(Ezek 14:3). These who believe atonement ((i.e.) reconciliation with God) to be interpreted to include the alleviation of sickness and poverty, which are viewed as curses to be broken by faith, though they are not wrong completely but the tainted motive behind the object of pursuit and devotion which gets shifted towards prosperity is automatically and wrongly taken by them as the will of God for all believers so that they can justify their unrestrained pursuit to gain health and wealth in this earthly life, forgetting the very warning of Jesus who said, "Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God." (Matt 19:24). This shows that the impossibility of pursuing both mammon and God at the same time, and it also teaches us that prosperity Gospel is a subtle test to the end time believers to stand for God and his will by rejecting the filthy lucre which replaces God in one's heart and dethrones him (Matt 6:24; Luke 16:13; 1 Thess 5:3-7).

Jesus through apostle John has warned the end time Church to be vigilant against the prosperity Gospel, or else they will die in their sins without ever coming to know that they were never saved at all by the blood of Jesus
(Rev 3:17-18; John 8:24). Religion does not save us, but our faith in the Gospel of Jesus Christ saves us. When the unbelieving Goats mix with the believing Sheeps, the end time Church will become blind enough because of the prosperity Gospel not to know the difference between those who are saved and those who are not saved to just adhere to the confession of the statement of faith which does not save them. So let us not be lulled in to sleep by this false Gospel of prosperity which ruins the soul of the hearers (1 Thess 5:3), but let us heed to the end time warning of Jesus to stay awake (1 Thess 5:5-6), and "watch therefore, and pray always that we may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.” (Luke 21:36). Praise the Lord!

Prosperity Theology Is A Theology Of Financial Gain

Paul the apostle knew about this tricky doctrine of prosperity back in his days and said,
"3 If anyone teaches another doctrine and disagrees with the sound words of our Lord Jesus Christ and with godly teaching, 4 he is conceited and understands nothing. Instead, he has an unhealthy interest in controversies and semantics, out of which come envy, strife, abusive talk, evil suspicions, 5 and constant friction between men of depraved mind who are devoid of the truth. These men regard godliness as a means of gain." (1 Tim 6:3-5). So there is a ungodly teaching in the mouth of the false prophets which understands within the recesses of their mind and soul which are depraved, that this preaching and teaching of the Word of God and their so called external form of "godliness [is actually used] .. as a means of gain", thus becoming now to be exactly like the false prophets of the Old Testament, who were as much called by God as the true prophet, but because of their wrong motive to use their calling as a means of gain, their own lustful imaginations and the deceiving spirits that operated in them were always prophesying through them peace and prosperity for all people who came to them, instead of pointing out their sin and helping them to repent of their evil deeds by looking to God and his salvation (Ezek 13:1-23).

God further says through His prophet Jeremiah that these false prophets,
"...offer superficial treatments for my people's mortal wounds [that has come because of their sinful lifestyle]. [Then,] they give assurances of peace when there is no peace." (Jer 6:14, NLT). In other words, people who had a external religion without a internal transformation were prophesied over by these false prophets for money sake, and the dreadful results that has come in to their lives because of sin were covered by them with nice prophetic words of prosperity and peace when the actual message from God to them is exactly the opposite (Isa 48:22). The unsaved were not told to repent and receive salvation, and the saved were not told to practice the truth and do righteousness, instead the prophets prophesied prosperity and peace to the unbelievers lives when they were not saved at all, and the wayward believer in sin were not told to repent of their evil deeds and look to the Lord for forgiveness of sin through confession and fellowship with God. O what a deceit that has been promoted! Because they were like white washed tombs themselves, they too white washed tomb walls of others which needed new life instead of a good word of deceit which killed them with poison of the prosperity gospel whose end will be according to their works when they are never saved at all (Matt 23:27-28; Jer 5:31; 2 Cor 11:15).

The Gospel In Itself Is Prosperous, But Make Sure The Priorities Are Right!!

The gospel in itself is prosperous that is why Jesus said,
“If you abide in me and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it shall be done for you.” (John 15:7) and "Very truly I tell you, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name." (John 15:7). The joy of receiving freely is the very basis of the Gospel, all we do is to give our sins, worries, sicknesses, diseases, sorrow, pains, weaknesses, heart break, debts, chaos, etc...to God and in exchange by the prosperity that the Gospel provides, we receive provision, joy, peace, righteousness, health, healing, forgiveness of our sins, comfort, love, etc...which cannot be received if the Gospel is not prosperous.

But the true Gospel is not what we can get from God, but rather what we can give to God for what God has already sacrificially given in His Son which is the best he could give to the entire humanity as a gift to us, so that by following his example we can become a conduit of God's blessing to all the people around us and in all the world
(Rom 8:32). God expects us to realize the greatness of His gift which is the Lord Jesus Christ and give our own body as a living sacrifice for Him to use it, and bring glory to Him just as Jesus did when he was alive on this earth (Heb 10:5; 1 Pet 2:21-25). Now Jesus has become the shepherd and guardian of our soul, therefore the priority of prosperity that God values is not the temporal gain, but eternal gain that will stay with us for eternity ahead. So all the earthly provisions are promised by God if we seek first the highest priority of the Kingdom purpose, which is to be conformed to the image of His Son by dying to our self, and let God live through us (Luke 9:23; Matt 16:24), and then the saving of fellow souls around us and collect eternal treasures in heaven for our service on earth (Matt 6:19-21, 24-34). Earthly material survival is now taken care of God if we seek the Kingdom and his righteousness first to fulfill His purpose for our lives, but God never entertains greed but provides faithfully for our needs. Material things are a addition of blessings, to the already provided God's greatest spiritual blessings that he has already provided in the New Testament (Eph 1:3), unlike in the Old Testament where material blessings were the primary promise for obedience (Deut 28:1-14). In other words, even if we do not see anymore of the material blessings except the need which God provides us to live, we should learn to live contently with all the spiritual blessings we have already received in Christ Jesus and the need that God supplies (1 Tim 6:6-8; Heb 13:5-6). It is not because God is not interested in making us prosperous, no, he is interested in us gaining eternal prosperity than the temporal one that he keeps us like that, so that we may not become deceived by the deceitfulness of riches in this present life and lose the eternal rewards of our future life (Mark 4:19).

Now the greatest force of the Gospel is not prosperity, but knowing intimately the God of all prosperity. So when the priorities are right, the true Gospel and its power will be seen through in the earthly realm, or else only the false prosperity message will deceive people in these end times. So let us be careful to watch and pray, and practice ourselves towards godliness for the Glory of God. Never forget, prosperity gospel is like the cancer of the soul that only brings death in the end.

True Prosperity

The first great thing about true prosperity is to become a partaker in the Divine nature, as Peter the apostle explains saying,
"3 For as you know him better, he will give you, through his great power, everything you need for living a truly good life: he even shares his own glory and his own goodness with us! 4 And by that same mighty power he has given us all the other rich and wonderful blessings he promised; for instance, the promise to save us from the lust and rottenness all around us, and to give us his own character." (2 Peter 1:4, LB). Sharing his Divine nature is the highest spiritual blessings that we have received from God as His beloved children (Eph 5:1). Yes, "the Lord be magnified, who takes pleasure in the prosperity of His servant." (Psalm 35:27, AMP). But this prosperity comes according to divine precedence in which His Divine nature in our spirit which we use to reform our soul stays at the top (2 Cor 5:17; Eph 4:22-24), after which other blessings like physical, financial and social blessings one by one are prioritized in eternal value to fulfill His purpose (Mark 8:35-38). In spite of the mistakes made by King David and Bathsheba, God forgave them and gave them promises which brought Divine Promises in to existence, which also in turn brought Solomon who became the foreshadow of Jesus Christ, who were born as the Son of David in to this earth for the whole world to be blessed through them (Matt 12:42; Luke 11:31; Matt 1:1; 9:27; 12:23; 15:22; 20:30; 21:5, 9; 22:42-46). The Son of David being the Messianic title through which Jesus identified Himself as the true Messiah has become a channel of God's blessing to the whole world, that is why God's priority for our prosperity starts with our spirit, then our soul, then our body, and then in to the areas of social and financial blessing.

God gives all things to enjoy but we should never put our trust in uncertain riches
(1 Tim 6:17), and when we continue to trust God, God has promised to take care of our every needs, and has guaranteed to provide all things to fulfill our purpose in this life if we continue to seek the Kingdom of God first (Matt 6:33). When our focus is on God and God alone, "....God can give us more blessings than we need, so that we will always have plenty of everything, and more than enough to give to every good work." (2 Cor 9:8, Paraphrased). God will bless us as we seek Him first in our lives! When we bless others, we will be blessed first by God automatically. God wants us to learn the art of giving, so that He can be able to give us more joyfully with eternal priority at the highest. The art of giving is true prosperity where everything that flows through us will flow to us and will keep us satisfied.

How To Find The Prosperity Gospel?

When repentance from sin, goes out of the Gospel, that moment the gospel will lose its power. So the most important thing to decide whether something is a prosperity gospel or not is which message someone is emphasizing the most, is it earthly blessings or heavenly blessings? Is it temporal relief or eternal reward? It is happiness based on our circumstances or peace that passes all understanding? Is it just healing of the body or the holistic healing that comes when we repent of our sins? Is it soul prosperity or material prosperity? Is it only the goodness of God, or it is preached along with severity of God? Is it adherence to the written word or the word written in the heart? Is it righteousness of the Law or righteousness of faith?, and the like... These are some of the questions we should consider to know whether the Gospel that is preached is prosperity gospel or the True Gospel of Jesus Christ. Saints of God, beware this prosperity gospel is cancerous to the well being of the soul for now and for eternity, so treat yourself with the truth that cuts the cancer before it spreads to cause devastation and destruction of your spiritual life for now and for eternity. Shalom!

Much Blessings...
