THE GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGMENT OF THE ALL TIME UNSAVED, SINCE CREATION TO ITS DESTRUCTION‼️
The Great White Throne Judgment is the final biblical judgment described in Revelation 20:11-15, occurring after the Millennium. It is the condemnation of all unbelievers/unsaved from all ages, who are resurrected to face Jesus Christ. Judged by their works, those not found in the Book of Life are cast into the lake of fire, known as the second death.
REVELATION 20
11: Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them.
12: And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books.
13: The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works.
14: Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15: And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.
KEY ASPECTS OF THIS JUDGMENT INCLUDE:
THE JUDGE: Jesus Christ, who has the authority to determine eternal destinies.
THE LOCATION: A place between heaven and earth, as the earth and sky flee from His presence.
THE SUBJECTS: The dead (the lost/unsaved) from all of history, including those from the sea and Hades, stand before the throne.
THE EVIDENCE: "Books" are opened, which contain the records of all deeds (good and evil) of the unsaved.
THE VERDICT: The "Book of Life" is used to confirm the absence of the unbelievers' names, resulting in them being cast into the lake of fire for their rejection of God.
This event represents final justice and the final separation of humanity from God, occurring after Satan has already been thrown into the lake of fire.
The Book of Life contains the names of those redeemed by God, specifically believers who have repented of their sins and accepted Jesus Christ as Savior. These individuals are considered God’s faithful people, often described as the "elect" or "lamb's book" inhabitants who will enter heaven and inherit eternal life.
WHO WILL HAVE THEIR NAMES IN THE BOOK OF LIFE?
THOSE WHO TRUST IN JESUS: People who have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and are redeemed.
THE "ELECT": The Bible implies those chosen by God before the foundation of the world.
OVERCOMERS: Those who remain faithful to God, overcoming the world's wickedness, have their names maintained in the book.
THE RIGHTEOUS: Worshippers of JESUS CHRIST the Son of God who will remain faithful to the end.
KEY ASPECTS OF THE BOOK OF LIFE:
THE LAMB’S BOOK: Often referred to as the Lamb's Book of Life, it is distinct from other records and focuses on those saved by Christ.
NOT JUST GOOD WORKS: Simply doing good deeds or being active in the church does not guarantee a name in this book.
THE CONSEQUENCE: Anyone whose name is not found in the Book of Life is cast into the lake of fire.
REMOVAL OF NAMES: Biblically our names are written before the world began in this Book, and Jesus guarantees that those who do not remain faithful, he remains faithful and therefore he will not blot out their names forever and ever (2 Tim 2:13; Rev 3:5).
Much Blessings......
