When Is Passover in 2026, 2027, 2028, 2029 and 2030?
It is not just a holiday but rather more a HOLY DAY of Pesach, or Passover, falls on the Hebrew calendar dates of Nissan 15-22.
Pesach 2026 (Passover) begins before sundown on Wednesday April 1, 2026, and ends after nightfall on April 9, 2026.
Pesach in the Coming Years:
2027: April 21-29 2028: April 10-18 2029: March 30-April 7 2030: April 17-25
What Is Passover?
The eight-day Jewish holiday of Passover is celebrated in the early spring, from the 15th through the 22nd of the Hebrew month of Nissan, April 1 - 9, 2026. Passover (Pesach) commemorates the emancipation of the Israelites from slavery in ancient Egypt. Pesach is observed by avoiding leaven, and highlighted by the Seder meals that include four cups of wine, eating matzah and bitter herbs, and retelling the story of the Exodus.
In Hebrew it is known as Pesach (which means “to pass over”), because G‑d passed over the Jewish homes when killing the Egyptian firstborn on the very first Passover eve.
The situation regarding Passover on the Temple Mount is a complex intersection of current events and eschatological interpretation:
CURRENT TENSIONS: Palestinian leaders have warned that Jewish attempts to perform Passover sacrifices are a threat to the "Islamic character" of the Al-Aqsa compound. These warnings often surface during Passover, a time when religious and political sensitivities are at their peak in Jerusalem.
THE THIRD TEMPLE: In various biblical interpretations, the construction of a Third Temple on the Temple Mount is seen as a prerequisite for end-times events. Groups like the Temple Institute have historically advocated for the restoration of Jewish ritual sacrifices at the site.
Prophetic Significance: Daniel 9:27: Often interpreted as a ROMAN "prince" of Antichrist or future and present ruler or executive PRESIDING PRESIDENT of the New World Order, out of the Board of Peace making a seven-year treaty with Israel, only to "cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease" halfway through.
THE ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION: Referenced by Jesus in Matthew 24:15, this is viewed as a sacrilegious act or object placed in the "holy place" (the Temple), marking a period of great tribulation.
2 Thessalonians 2:4: Describes a "man of lawlessness" who seats himself in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God.
Revelation 11:1-2: Mentions the measuring of the temple and the altar, while the outer court is "given unto the Gentiles" to be trodden underfoot for 42 months.
GROUPS ADVOCATING FOR THE THIRD TEMPLE:
Several groups actively seek to change the status quo and prepare for a Third Temple:
THE TEMPLE INSTITUTE (MACHON HAMIKDASH): Founded in 1987, this organization is dedicated to the practical preparation for rebuilding the Temple. They have already recreated over 60 sacred vessels, ritual priestly garments, and detailed architectural blueprints. They believe humans must take proactive steps to fulfill the biblical obligation to build the sanctuary.
TEMPLE MOUNT FAITHFUL: An extremist movement that has attempted to lay the cornerstone for a Third Temple, most notably in 1990, which sparked large-scale protests and violence.
THE RED HEIFER RITUAL: Recently, some groups have imported Red Angus heifers from the United States to Israel. According to Jewish law, the ashes of a perfectly red heifer are required for the purification ritual necessary for priests to enter the most sacred areas of a future Temple.
Palestinian leaders view these activities—particularly the presence of red heifers and increasing visits by religious activists—as a direct threat to the mosque, fearing a plan to eventually replace the Islamic structures with a new Jewish temple.
ANCIENT JEWISH TEMPLES SITE with ARCHEOLOGICAL and HISTORICAL BIBLICAL EVIDENCE:
For Jews, it is the location where the First and Second Temples stood. The First Temple, built by King Solomon, was destroyed by the Babylonians in 586 BCE. The Second Temple was destroyed by the Romans in 70 CE, leaving the Western Wall as its most significant remaining structure.
ISLAMIC SIGNIFICANCE WITHOUT ANY EVIDENCE:
It is the third-holiest site in Islam. MUSLIMS BELIEVE the Prophet Muhammad was transported from Mecca to this site during his Night Journey (Isra and Mi'raj) and ascended to heaven from the Foundation Stone, now housed within the Dome of the Rock.
YOU DECIDE‼️ EVIDENCE MATTERS THE MOST OR THE BLIND ISLAMIC BELIEF IS ENOUGH TO OCCUPY THE TEMPLE MOUNT.
WHO WILL BE THE OWNER OF THE SITE TO BUILD FURTHER, THE JEWS OR THE MUSLIMS⁉️
MUCH BLESSINGS....
